Chapter 6: Talk with grandpa (2)
After hearing Hiruzen's answer, Ken felt sad for the loss of so many civilians. They were not even shinobi. The weak always suffered from the actions of those with power.
"Umm Grandpa, Don't you know the shadow clone jutsu? You can teach me through a shadow clone." Ken suggested since he did not want to miss out on teaching from the professor himself.
'Why did not I think about it? I could let the shadow clone do all this paperwork while I spend some time with my grandson.' Hiruzen thought as he finally found a way to escape from his enemy, the paperwork.
'But how does Ken know about the shadow clone jutsu?' Hiruzen thought as he asked Ken where did he get to know about this jutsu.
'Damn, I forgot that a four-year-old is not supposed to know about a B-rank jutsu. Let's quickly make an excuse before he gets suspicious.' Ken panicked hearing Hiruzen's question
"I read about it in the clan library." Ken lied through his teeth.
Hiruzen believed it.
"Alright, I will leave my clone here and teach you myself."
"Uh Grandpa, You can send a clone to teach me. You still have a lot of work."
"Nonsense, How can I send my clone to train my dear grandson? I would be teaching you myself." Hiruzen shamelessly said
"Ok grandpa," Ken said happy that his grandpa would be teaching him personally.
There was something else that Hiruzen said intrigued Ken. Hiruzen said that Orphanages were full.
'If I am not wrong, Danzo would take many kids from the orphanages to become Root shinobi. Might as well plant a small seed to prevent Danzo's plans. Hehehe'
"Grandpa, we should take care of the kids from the orphanages, they are the future of Konoha and their will of fire should also be burning strong," Ken said innocently using the 'will of fire' jutsu against Hiruzen himself.
"Oh, Just four years old and already caring about your fellow villagers. Don't worry I would give all the orphanages good funds and security while also making sure that they use it appropriately." Hiruzen said
'Let's see if Danzo suffers from this. I doubt it though.' Ken thought
Hiruzen expression suddenly turned serious "Now coming to the main point as to why I have called you here. You are my grandson as in the third Hokage's grandson who possesses two kekkei Genkai. Since you have awakened it in public, the news would surely have already traveled to other shinobi villages. To get to me, many of my enemies or foreign villages might target you. Seeing that you have two kekkei genkai's they would try to kill you before you grow up strong enough to protect yourself. That's why I am appointing an Anbu ninja for your safety."
"Owl" Suddenly a shadow flickered into the room which was a man with the anbu uniform and an owl mask.
"You can remove your mask Owl. You should both get acquainted with each other since Owl would also be your Taijutsu teacher." Hiruzen said with a smile
"Uhh? Taijutsu? But you said we are going to learn ninjutsu. I can learn Taijutsu when I am older when my body is bigger and stronger." Ken said worried that he would have to do things that he did not like for example pushups, running, etc.
"The foundation of Taijutsu should be laid at a young age. You should start training your body early if you want to make it stronger and become as strong as your grandpa."
"But Grandpa you are so skinny, I don't see any muscles on you. You became so strong without taijutsu." Ken said looking at Hiruzen's lean build.
Both the Anbu's and Hiruzen's eyes twitched at that.
"I might not look like that but I am one of the strongest taijutsu fighters in the village, Ken. Now Owl introduce yourself to Ken."
OWL removed his mask. He was a brown-haired individual.
"Hello Ken, My name is Mukai Kohinata." The man introduced himself.
"Hello, I am Ken. I'll be the strongest shinobi someday. Believe it!" Ken too introduced himself.
'Mukai, where have I heard about him? Hmm, that's right he was the guy who beat both Itachi and Shisui. It was stated that he would have been not killed if he had known about the existence of Mangekyou Sharingan. He is at least an elite Jonin-level shinobi. Also, he has a Byakugan in one of his eyes. He would be a great protector and a great taijutsu teacher. Looks like I don't have to worry about my safety for some time with this guy around.' Ken thought
"Mukai would be protecting you from the shadows. Meet your dad and mom who are currently at home before meeting me in the training grounds. It's time to start your training." Hiruzen said as he created a shadow clone which he left to do the paperwork.
Ken pumped his fist in the air and said "It's finally time for me to learn cool ninjutsu."
Hiruzen raised an eyebrow at that as he smirked "What makes you think you would be learning ninjutsu?"
"We have a lot of things to do before we start training you for ninjutsu. Now get moving." Hiruzen said as he flickered to the training grounds.
Mukai helped Ken reach his home, where he met his parents who consoled him for the death of his grandma and then congratulated him for awakening chakra and two kekkei genkais.
After that, he went to the training grounds where his grandpa was waiting for him.
