Chapter 42: Jonin Sensei

After discussing about what they each specialized in, Ken remembered something as he looked at his two teammates "There will be another test for us. If we fail in that, we will get back to academy."

"Huh, this is the first time that I am hearing about this." Itachi said as Kabuto too agreed with him.

"Of course, Its because we are not supposed to know about this." Ken said

"Then how do you know it?" Itachi asked with narrowed eyes .

"My grandpa is quite gullible. I had asked him to tell me a bed time story about his genin team and about the genin team he had when he was a jonin sense. He accidently said that there was another test after the graduation exam where the jonin sensei checked whether the genin team work as a team or solo. Our sensei would likely put us in a situation where only two of us would pass or even just one. He would give us situations which would lead to chaos among us three. " Ken said

"So we just have to work as a team no matter what test our Jonin sensei gives us?" Kabuto asked to which Ken nodded.

Unknown to them, Hiruzen and Jiraiya was watching them from the crystal ball.

"Hahahaha. He called you gullible. You even told him about the genin which is an unknown rule to not tell kids about. Hahahaha. I can't stop laughing. He fooled you sensei. Cough Cough" Jiraiya literally felt pain in his stomach from laughing so much.

Hiruzen had a constipated look on his face as he shouted in his mind 'This brat!! I thought that he was sleeping when i was telling him the story.'

"I wonder how 'he' would now test them since they already know about the test. But I have to accept that this man has what it takes to guard these three young genins and teach them. Just one touch for him can be a sure shot death sentence for even me." Jiraiya said

"Yes besides he has been blessed with a boy so i thought i should give this guy some time to spend with his family by becoming a jonin sensei. There is no one better than Shikuro Aburame to protect these kids." Hiruzen said as he focused his attention back on the crystal ball.

There was another person who was listening to Ken, Itachi's and Kabuto's talk.

A bug was listening to their conversation and some other bugs reported it to the man who was a little faraway from the training ground.

He was a rather tall man completely covered by clothing. His hands had gloves on while he wore black goggles to cover his eyes. He carried a huge gourd on his back. His name was Shikuro Aburame.

'So they already know about the test and are prepared for it. Well, It looks like that they have already passed the exam. But I will still have to test them since Lord Third is probably watching. A battle with them to check their teamwork and their current level should do. But still Lord Hokage has given me quite a troublesome team.' Shikuro thought

'One of them is the Uchiha clan leader's eldest son who has awakened his sharingan at the age of 6 and is already quite proficient at using it. He is hailed as a genius. He is also good at fire release and genjutsu. He has an affinity for water chakra nature but has not trained in it yet. Taijutsu and shurinken skills are also quite good.'

'The next one is someone who is an orphan and has exceptional chakra control. He is already a very proficient medical nin at the age of 8. Also quite good with stealth, taijutsu and genjutsu. No information about his chakra affinity.'

'The last one is the son of the current anbu commander and the grandson of the third hokage. He is hailed as a prodigy in ninjutsu with four chakra affinities and possessing two kekkei Genkais of Lava release and ice release. He has good taijutsu skills and also has a talent for genjutsu. He can use the forbidden multi shadow clone jutsu. Not much information about what jutsus that he had learned and can use.' Shikuro read through there files and analysed their strengths and weaknesses.

'Overall a strong team with every base covered if I include myself. I can do the sensing job. We have a genjutsu expert, a medical nin and a ninjutsu expert with all three of them proficient in Taijutsu. Alright its time for me to introduce myself to them as they are getting impatient. Lord Hokage warned me that his grandson has a bad temper so I should not test it.' Shikuro thought as he body flickered to the training ground.

Ken was getting annoyed waiting but his senses suddenly tingled as he used the Ash Fist jutsu to block a kick that was aiming for his head.

"Good Awareness" complemented Shikuro as Itachi and Kabuto got into battle formation.

"You can relax, I am your Jonin Sensei. The name is Shikuro Aburame." He introduced himself

As Ken looked at the man, he recognized him from the bingo books 'So he is Shikuro Aburame? The father of Danzo's right hand man Torune Aburame. He should be able to use nano-sized insects known as rinkaichū. One touch from his hand and I am gone. Torune even took a hand of Obito with his jutsu. A good sensei for us indeed. Strong enough to protect us and experienced enough to teach us.' Ken thought excited.
