Kurenai seethed with anger as she bit her lower lip, but the truth was, she was barely holding on against the combined pressure of two Chunin and multiple Genin from the Mist Village.

"Eh?!"

At that moment, one of the Mist Shinobi who had been uttering obscene words screamed in agony. A hand with raging electricity had pierced his heart. Unbeknownst to them, Yu had silently approached, his hand emanating the lightning brilliance of Chidori.

Meanwhile, in the distance, Yu turned his icy gaze towards several other Mist Shinobi who were rushing toward them. His hand, enveloped in the furious energy of Chidori, was sent hurtling towards them with a powerful swing.

Upon impact, the Chidori sent the Mist Shinobi flying. As they writhed in the electric currents, their bodies were engulfed by the overwhelming power of Chidori, turning them into charred remains.

Chidori: Star Shatter—another variation of Chidori developed by Yu, inspired by Uchiha Sasuke's technique used in "The Last. movie" I, Sasuke used this technique to shatter a massive meteorite plummeting towards Konoha. While Yu couldn't replicate such an extreme feat yet, this was still an incredibly potent technique.

"Are you alright, Kurenai senpai?"

Seeing most of the Mist Shinobi dispatched, Yu approached Kurenai, who was sitting on the ground.

"I'm fine. Luckily, you arrived in time, Yu."

After getting up, Kurenai briefly tended to her shoulder wound and then smiled at Yu. "You don't have to call me Kurenai senpai; just call me Kurenai. There isn't much age difference between us."

"Then, I'll call you Kurenai-sis."

Yu didn't stand on ceremony and turned his gaze towards the ongoing battle between Might Guy's team and the remaining Mist Shinobi. "After we end this battle, I'll help you with your injuries. Right now, I need to assist them in taking down the enemy."

Despite already eliminating most of their foes, there were still nine Chunin and over a dozen Genin surrounding Guy, Ebisu, and Kurenai's squad. After killing a Jonin, using an S-rank Water Release: Hard Vortex Water Blade, and repeatedly using Chidori and other ninjutsu, Yu's chakra and stamina were depleted. He couldn't spare time to treat his and Kurenai's injuries, so he unleashed his Thread Fruit powers without hesitation.

"Wire Whip!"

Aiming at the group of Mist Shinobi surrounding Might Guy's team, Yu raised his hand, and an incredibly thick wire shot out with unbelievable force.
