Wandering Mist, Sand, Cloud, and the current Iwagakure—over the years, Kabuto has traveled to various ninja villages, using his superb espionage skills and Medical Ninjutsu to gather countless intelligence for Root and Konoha.

Thinking of Yakushi Nono's gentle demeanor and the companionship of Urushi and the others, a long-lost sense of longing surged in Kabuto's heart.

Suddenly, a sharp sound of breaking air startled Kabuto. Above him, on the towering cliff, a figure had appeared, seemingly observing him for some time. Without hesitation, the figure hurled a dark Kunai directly at him.

Seeing Yakushi Nono lying motionless in a pool of blood, Kabuto felt like he was on the verge of collapse. "Could it be... You're still carrying out that mission from back then?!"

"Kabuto, Nono..."

As Kabuto was about to step forward to try and save the headmaster with Medical Ninjutsu, a familiar voice sounded nearby, causing Kabuto to freeze once again.

"Yu?!"

Gazing at the white-haired youth who arrived looking dusty and exhausted, Kabuto instinctively widened his eyes.

"What's going on... I'mstill a step too late..."

"Damn Danzo... Damn Orochimaru..."

After dealing with Orochimaru, Yu relentlessly used Observation Haki throughout the journey, finally locating Nono's whereabouts.

However, upon hastily arriving, he found her lying in a pool of blood, with Kabuto standing beside her, wearing a bewildered expression.

Such a scene felt eerily familiar.

Yu, who had planned to arrive in time to stop all of this, couldn't have foreseen that Orochimaru, whom he had killed two years ago, would coincidentally appear at this moment.

He wanted to change the course of events, but little did he know that the events had already changed due to his arrival.
