6. Sato no Haru

Mai's expression tensed a bit as she eyed the boy sitting across the table from him, sensing if anything was aloof. Her expression tensed even more as she felt as of she barely recognized the person sitting with her.
Nahen feeling the gaze towards him decided to speak up as it got a bit tense. "Well there was something that happened today....." Nahen the narrated the series of events that took place from the fleeing individual to the baby and the visit to the hospital. Of course he left out the fact about his system and how he was able to sense the eagle watching over him, which also was granted by the system.
Mai's gaze softened as she heard Nahen recount the series of events to her. She was amazed by the feet that Nahen had accomplished today and was astounded by his actions. The earlier events had spread throughout the village like a wild fire amongst civilians and shinobi alike.
"Well, it's a good thing you were there to help. This is goog news Nahen, you did good. Your parents would be proud of you" She said as she put on a smile on her face. She was genuinely proud of Nahen and what he had done. 'What happened today has put a spotlight on you and he might make a move on you sooner. Well he was gonna make a move either way.'
Nahen noticing a slight glitch in her expression knew something was up but decided to play it off as she would tell him if something was up.
"Well as a treat we're going out tomorrow to celebrate your bravery." She said with a warm aura coming off of her.
"There's really no need really, it was just a coincidence that I was there in the first place." He shrugged his shoulders off.
"Silly boy, it's already decided, tomorrow we're celebrating and that's final" She stood her ground. "On another note, all the paperwork has been done for the store and it'll be ready for commission in no time. What's left is to hire people to work there as well as redecorate the place and figure out the schedule and menus and find stock and suppliers at an affordable rate. Other than that we'll head out and take care of that after our celebration."
"About that, I was thinking..." They kept on discussing various topics concerning the store and decided on a lot of things.
The rest of the evening went smoothly with Nahen and Mai discussing and finding solutions to most of the issues and worked around them.

Morning came and Nahen woke up early.

Nahen woke up to a notification as he read through it and was ecstatic as to what it meant. 'So I can recover from exhaustion both physically and chakra related from sleeping. Wait it didn't say sleep, does that mean I don't necessarily have to sleep on a bed or sleep even as it said rest, and meditating can rest the body.'
Nahen marveled at this discover for a bit longer and then changed into some clothes he had gotten for training and went out back to do some light physical training.
He got out back and did some stretching to ease up his tense muscles a bit from sleep. After stretching for 15 minutes he got a notification which didn't expect but solved two of his problems.

Nahen mentally pressed Y and a training regiment filled out in his mind. Information entered his mind and he knew the workout he had to go through in order to accomplish it.
Soon after he lunged forward with both legs descended to a lower height stopped for a second and held a squatting position. He ascended from his position with his arms extended forwards and dropped again to his former position. He repeated this and started counting.
"1...2...3.."
He continued his squats and finished with a few beads of sweat trickling from his face but his breath remained unchanged and he felt he could still go on. He continued on and completed the rest of his training regimen.
*Huff....Huff....*
After almost an hour Nahen was lying on the ground face up drenched in sweat. Sharp deep haggard breaths were resounding in the backyard in succession.
He laid there on the ground for another 10 minutes. His breathing had settled down. He on instinct forcibly slowed down and shallowed his breathing, he realized that his condition became slightly better as time went by.
He then got up and went inside to get cleaned up. After another half an hour or so he got dressed and went downstairs to meet up with Mai so they can get a move on and finish up today's load of work.
As they walk down the streets Nahen repeatedly stared at his clenched fist which he extended out in his vision. He felt a surge of power flow through it, regardless of how small it was he felt exilerated by it. He felt stronger than he was before.
'Hmmm, from just this bit of training I already feel stronger. I can't imagine what would happen if I continue like this.' He thought as he clenched his small fist harder with a determined look on his face.
Mai who noticed all this from the corner of her eye shed an eye-smile as she noticed the determination burning in Nahen's eyes and notice the small influx of energy around his clenched fist.
'Hmmm?. Even with slight training his strength has grown, as small as it is, it still bolsters enough to be recognizable.' She stared at the boy from the corner of her eyes as she was intrigued by the force leaking off of his fist as she couldn't sense any chakra emanating from it and was perplexed as to what it was.
They soon went on their way and met up with Hanz and they talked over an agreement and he agreed to supply them with supplies and they went over to the site and they redesigned the whole place and knocked down as well as erected a few walls to create more room. In total the place stood around 50sq meters and housed a total of 50 people when you cut off the kitchen and pantry.
New equipment was delivered while they were there and they were installed and all tables and chairs were set up to their positioning. Cutlery and all serving dishes were all prepped.
Around noon everything was set up and they were ready to open up shop for tomorrow but to attract customers and make them come for tomorrow they decided to try a taste test and sampling for passerbys so to let them know. They set up a huge sign outside which Mai light up with her chakra and laced it with a light sedative genjutsu to attract the people's attention.
Nahen begin with writing the menu on a board that was visible all within the place. He then went in started preparing a few dishes from his memories in his past life and integrated them with the dishes. Mai who was observing him was astonished at this and wondered how he even came up with these dishes as they were spectacular and delicious.
Nahen had previously made cooked for her a few times and she was amazed by the unorthodox way he took in preparing the food but was cut off from such thoughts when she took a bite of the food and melted away as his food was simply divine.
Soon their first customer walked into the restaurant and walked up to the counter and ordered.
"Welcome to 'Sato no Haru' where the food is divine and the taste is simply to die for. How may I help you." Mai walked up to the man on the other side of the counter and inquired. ' A transformation jutsu huh. I wonder who it, either way I have to serve them kindly.' She then thought to herself as she recognized that whoever it was was under a transformation jutsu and hiding their appearance.
"Uhmm....I would like whatever you'd recommend please. I haven't been in here before so I thought why not try what you had to offer" The man replied with a smile on his face.
Mai nodded her head and headed over to Nahen and placed an order for the man and walked over back to the man. "Please follow me sir" Mai lead the man to a table and soon the man sat at the which was visible to a blindspot that Mai could could observe him from.
When the man was finally sitted he asked. "I haven't heard of this place or been here before, how long have you guys set up shop."
Mai gave the man a glance and answered. "We haven't been open for long really. Today is our first day operating actually, unofficially that is. The grand opening is tomorrow. You are our first customeractually".
"Oh, is that so. I'm glad to be your first customer. If hope you guys don't forget me when you're big." The man joking as he cracked another smile towards Mai.
Mai flashed a smile at the man as she felt no malice from him and then receeded to the reception as she attended to another customer that just entered and took his order as well.
After a few minutes Mai returned to the man who had been curiously looking around at the place. She placed a couple of dishes infront of the man and returned to the counter.
The man thanked Mai and proceeded to take a bit of the first dish of the dishes placed infront of him. He took a piece of perfectlycooked fish and dipped it in a sauce that accompaniedthe fish.
"..."
The man was wide eyed and froze in place. His mind lost all signals as his mouth kept salivating at the taste. His taste buds were frozen from the sheer ecstasy of the flavor of the fish.
"Delicious...." The man mumbled as this was the best food he had ever tasted. He slowly chewed the food and prickled the fish and slowly savored the taste of the meat and seemed to be on a high. He then picked from another dish and had the se reaction if not better.
Before finishing his food he got up and went up to the counter and ordered another serving to go. Mai was stunned by this and remembered how amazing Nahen's food was and took the man's order to go.
After a while, the man had finished his entire meal and went to collect his to go order and paid for his meal and was on his way out when he bumped into someone.
"Sorry about that" The figure said and passed.
Right then the man was brought back to his sense and looked around and noticed the once empty restaurant almost completely filled in just a matter of time. He slowly exited and disappeared off into the crowd.
Mai was to busy caught up taking orders to keep an eye on the man. In the crowd the man entered into a dark alley away from sight and a dark figure exited and flickered out of the streets.
The restaurant was filled with lots of folks including civilians and shinobi alike. A few of Mai's friends and colleagues that passed by were hurled inside by Mai and were enticed but the aroma and Mai's relentlessness to take an order.
As soon as they took a bite they fell in love with the food and along the way they spread word of the restaurant and soon more and more people were coming in.
The day went by and Nahen and Mai closed up shop and retired home. It had been a busy day for both of them as they were beat from today's work. Nahen felt as though his hands were gonna fall off from all the cooking he did. Mai often had to turn down se people and serve them to go.
A huge stir was going around the village as news of 'Sato no Haru' spread throughout the entire village. Even owners of some restaurants became wary of them and got a bit worried while those of big restaurants like weren't that worried and thought that this craze was going to die down and their businesses were safe. Which they were wrong about of course.
Nahen and Mai were sitting down on the table and counting the amount of money they had made today and were surprised by the amount of money they had made unexpectedly. They had made a whooping 295,759 Ryo which was a large sum.
Meanwhile in the Hokage's office.
The Hokage had just finished some paperwork and was getting ready to get home when a shadow flickered infront of his desk and bowed before him.
"Hokage-Sama, I have your report on the boy, Nahen Sato." The Anbu in a frog mask spoke. Hiruzen was taken aback a bit as he wasn't expecting him to be back, as he expected him to be back much sooner.

Tsunade: No, not another one of your lame jokes
An imaginary arrow pierced through Jiraya's heart as he slumped to the ground drew circles with his fingers grumbling to himself.
Tsunade: Fine! Out with it.
Jiraya jumped up to his feet andade his wierd T-pose and grinned like a maniac. "I knew you couldn't resist my charm."
Tsunade: Dont make me regret it(sigh)
Jiraya: Why did the penny arrest the nickel?
Tsunade: Why?
Jiraya: Because, he was a copper...hahahaha.
Tsunade facepalmed at that.
Jiraya: Nobody gets my humor. If you did maybe you'd see what you're missing out on.

(A/N) Sorry for not uploading for a so far its been a crazy while and I don't really wanna talk about it but I'm not gonna drop the story imma take it from the top.
