CH-3 A New beginning

I tried to open my eyes but i couldn't, the world was too bright, I am surprised that i haven't gone blind yet.

*ARTHUR*

A voice resounded throughout my mind startling me, I woke up in a cold sweat.

"A nightmare? " Arthur thought while breathing heavily but when he looked around his surrounding, a cold sweat trickle through his back.

'Where is this place? A jungle!? Am I kidnapped? ' Arthur panicked while looking at his surrounding, it was already sunset and the jungle's foliage were already making the dark jungle darker, he forcefully calm himself down.

'Panicking won't help me, let's asses the situation first' Arthur thought so while vigilantly scanning his dark surroundings but unknown to him, a giant silhouette was inching closer and closer to him, it's red glowing eyes were preying on Arthur while releasing low growls, Arthur heard the bushes rustling and immediately turn towards his left, what meet his eyes send chills down his spine, a 6 foot grey wolf with glowing red eyes was staring at him!

Arthur was too afraid that he even forgot to scream, only his body reacted while shivering in fear.

The wolf started walking towards Arthur, going circles around him while releasing low growls almost as if it was playfully singing but to Arthur, those sound made his blood run cold.

Arthur watched as the giant wolf slowly started circling him grinning with its wide mouth full of razor sharp teeth, saliva and blood dripping from the corner of it's mouth.

'It's toying with me!' seeing that the wolf was toying with him, Arthur decided to run for it,

'I don't want to die ! ' Arthur was terrified.

Arthur ran with all his might but the wolve didn't move from its place, Arthur could heard demonic laughter from behind, probably the wolve's.

'It's toying with me, it's trying to chase me down as a game' Praying in his heart, Arthur ran with all his might , he heard the laughter stop, 'The chase has begun! '

A strong wind came and knocked Arthur off balance, he faced towards his back and all he could see was the Silhouette of a giant grey wolf high up in the sky, it's ashen fur, glowing red eyes and the moon behind it truly make it a work of art, the wolf descended right in front of Arthur, kicking up the dust around it.

The chase ended before it started! brandishing its sharp teeths while his red eyes inspected it's prey.

'It jumped all the way from there.. ' Arthur was dumbstruck, he have never heard of such a Monster, fear gripping his heart as the chances of survival becomes thinner and thinner. Seeing that the prey had given up, the wolve was coming closer to Arthur, it opens it's mouth and so did the Shadow behind it?!

Arthur watched in horror as another beast emerged from the dark forest and gobble up the entire wolf in one bite, The thing that ate the wolf...

Arthur couldn't describe it. It was big, way bigger than the wolf, around 20 foot , it's eyes were empty, no eyeballs just darkness.

The numerous rope like thing came out from what Arthur believed to be it's mouth and drag the wolf into his abysmal jaw. The thing looked one last time towards Arthur before vanishing inside the dark jungle.
