Kimimaro finally finished his backwards jump. And was thirty meters from the place he got killed. Then everything stilled at one place.

Kimimaro heard a clock ticking and the time flow slowly started to move forward.

Kimimaro grinned he changed his vision to terrain sight. And got his pistol from his back.

Kimimaro loaded his gun with a bone cartridge and said.

They were even praised by the past Tenno, but the clan head Matsumoto was unsatisfied. He wanted more, he was a great ninja, but that was not enough, to overthrow the Tenno. So desperate he tried to get an animal contract to become a sage, but his animal was a worm. In his anger, he slaughtered the animals in their holy land. until one of the worms. jumped straight at him. He got inside his nose and started to influence his ideas, slowly the animal ate most of his brain, while leaving only the part where the brain is needed to sustain the body. The worm thirsting for revenge infected large area of villagers and spread them to sow even more chaos. Soon the rest of the world understood what happened there. and the great Tenno sent his army of samurai to stop them. Like that they stopped the infection, but they could only contain it. So the emperor called the Uchiha, Senju and Miwa clan to the war effort. With their combined power they soon understood that these Infected, were followers of an entity which were ruled by other entity, and so forth until it reached Matsumoto. So after they understood their fatal weakness, couple of select elite ninjas were sent to infiltrate the palace where Matsumoto stayed, and destroy him. When they killed him the worms were in disarray, they got out of their bodies. and the infection was over, alas at a cost. Most of the "followers" were insane. So the emperor called the medic clans to see, if they can be healed. Some of them were healed, but the rest that were beyond saving were slaugtered. The living people left in this land accused that now their ghost will claim the land and will become demons haunting it, soon after they renamed it of the land of the Demons."Niko calmly explained while looking at the struggling worm. She stood up and stomped it as hard as she could.

"Come on lets, return to the city, our mission is over." Niko said.

Kimimaro turned towards Kenji. He nodded and together they returned towards Hiratsuka.
