Returning Home
The moment Naruto was stabbed, he felt his consciousness fade, as if sinking into the never-ending darkness. Then his mind was blank, completely empty with nothing but himself. Then there was something. "Hehe. So, we finally get to meet, brat!"
Naruto looked around to find the voice, he saw a giant gate not too far from him. He walked through the muddy nasty water to reach him. "Hello?" He asked not knowing exactly what was going on. Nobody answered so he was going to turn away until the ground shook.
He turned around to see a giant fox-like creature standing over him on the other side of the gate. Naruto knew who this was now but was very surprised to see him, "The nine tails." the tailed beast only laughed, listening to people not call him by his name was funny.
"You're not as scary as I thought you'd be, you're not scary at all." Naruto truly wasn't scared of him, was he really not scary, he always thought he was. "What do you mean I'm not scary! I can kill anyone, I am the nine tails!" said the beast clearly trying to look scarier than before.
"Ok" the tailed beast didn't know how to respond. "Anyways, why am I here?" the beast laughed again, "Well you were stabbed by that weakling and I have to heal you, it's pretty serious and might take a minute with this stupid seal."
Said the nine tails trapping his cade repeatedly. "But the main reason is to make a deal, well not so much a deal as just charity." Naruto was interested in this, "What is it?" the beast coughed, "As you are my jinchuriki, it is embarrassing to lose to someone so weak, so I will give you the power to beat him. This will be more chakra than you know what to do with!"
Naruto thought about it, if he accepted this he didn't know what side effects this might bring later. "Kid, I don't think those people outside can fight for very long." Naruto knew this was true, Tsunade was worthless after blood was spilled and Jiraiya could barely move.
Naruto thought for a little longer before he answered, "I agree, what do I have to do?" the beast laughed, he knew the more chakra he let out the weaker the seal would get. "Just touch my finger and you will gain more power than almost anyone you know."
Naruto walked over to the beast and grabbed his finger. After he did he felt a red hot chakra inter his body. This amount of chakra was many more times powerful than his own, and this was only a finger! Naruto felt his body get hot and then back to reality.
Once awake in the real world, he noticed two things, one was that his stab wound was healed and two Jiraiya was staring at him shocked. Naruto looked at himself surprised to see him covered in weird, red bubbles plus he had one tail. Naruto didn't waste any time attacking Orochimaru.
Naruto sent a red chakra arm towards Orochimaru, the hand pierced right through his snake summon with ease but Orochimaru dodged it. Orochimaru thought he was in the clear but before he knew it Naruto was above him, "Rasengan!"
Orochimaru got out the way and jumped back, "Kabuto, come here quickly" Kabuto jumped next to Orochimaru, "What do you need Lord Orochimaru." "Help me summon Manda," said Orochimaru clearly worried, he normally would have no issue with this Naruto but with no arms, there was not much he could do.
Kabuto and Orochimaru then summoned Manda, "Orochimaru, I better have some good sacrifices for my services," "You will." Orochimaru then commanded to attack Naruto. When Madras attacked with his head, Naruto sent a chakra arm to counter it.
All the trees in the area were instantly uprooted and got thrown around. Orochimaru and Kabuto jumped off the snake and ran away as fast as possible. After they got far enough away they unsummoned Manda. Naruto was going to chase him but he then felt his chakra sucked out of him.
He looked over and saw that Jiraiya had placed a chakra suppressing seal on him. Naruto soon fell unconscious, Tsunade finally snapped out of it and ran over to heal Naruto. Jiraiya then asked her a question, "Have you made your decision?" Tsunade nodded, "I will return to the leaf."
Jiraiya was very happy at her choice, "Then we should leave once Naruto is better, we are lucky more of the demons chakra didn't leak out." this time when he was unconscious he didn't meet the fox. It was only about a day or two until he woke up.
After waking up he ignored all the questions asked about the beast, talking about it wouldn't help, they should just leave to head back to Konoha. The trip back was very similar to when they left with Naruto working on a new Rasengan type.
After returning to the leaf they soon had the ceremony for the new Hokage. Both of the elders stood on the side of the Hokage building looking over the village, "It is with great pride we can introduce the new Hokage, Jiraiya of the sannin." Jiraiya walked out and waved his hat in the air.
Because he was now the Hokage, it would be much easier to do research on his book, he was imagining it now 'Hello I am the Hokage, may I do some research with you.' It was a perfect plan. The elders also introduced Tsunade then the ceremony ended.
Once Jiraiya was in the office the first thing he wanted to get out of the way was the chunin exams. He was here for the last round so he had a good idea of who should pass and who should fail.
After getting all the vests he called the genin in, "Today I will be deciding if you will become chunin, so if your name is called come up and grab your fest, if it's not, better luck next time." Jiraiya then looked at his notes making sure he was correct.
"Shikamaru Nara, your intellect is extremely high and you can keep your emotions in check, your abilities are also way above a genin. The only thing I think you should work on is reserves, you don't have enough chakra to have a long fight." Shikamaru then walked up and grabbed his clothes.
"Sakura Haruno, this was a hard choice. You are much smarter than the average genin, and so are your abilities. The problem is you are too easy to beat, you only have one thing you are good at, genjutsu. If you want I can ask Tsunade to help you learn medical ninjutsu also." "That would be appreciated, Hokage." Sakura then picked up her clothes.
"Rock Lee, your taijutsu is better than most jonin. The gates are a fearsome technique that if you master can become an amazing shinobi, what I suggest you work on is brainpower, you are not the smartest of the genin." Lee cried and talked about how he promised guy sensei, he then grabbed his clothes.
"Naruto Uzumaki, you are a jack of all trades. You have great taijutsu, ninjutsu, speed, and strength. From what I've heard you also know how to break out of complex genjutsu along with knowing the basics for medical ninjutsu and sealing. You could fully become a jonin here, but I don't believe you have enough life experience for that. So I will make you a special jonin, this will give you the same respect as a regular jonin just not as much political power." Naruto was happy with this, he walked up and grabbed his clothes.
"Sasuke Uchiha, you are very skilled at what you do. Thanks to your Sharingan you have a decent amount of jutsu along with very good taijutsu and you can use genjutsu. This alone is not enough to become a special jonin but you will be a very strong chunin and you will advance very quickly if you keep it up." Sasuke was a little upset with Naruto being a higher rank, but this just meant he needed to train more and get stronger.
After Sasuke grabbed his clothes he dismissed everyone but team seven. "Team seven come here tomorrow, you have a mission." they all nodded and left, Sakura wanted to eat but Naruto said he was too tired and went home to sleep.
