Rasengan training!
Jiraiya appeared in front of Naruto to talk to him, "It now seems you have completed the training of the summoning jutsu so it's time to move on, we only have a little over a week so I don't know if we can complete it but we can try."
Jiraiya then brought out a water balloon, "right now I am the only person alive to know this jutsu, it is known as the Rasengan and was created by the 4th Hokage." Naruto knew this jutsu, the Rasengan was supposed to be one of the strongest jutsu ever!
Suddenly the balloon started to stretch on all sides wildly and then popped, "I want you to pop the balloon just like I did, once you have done that wake me up." Jiraiya said then headed to sleep. Naruto picked up one of the balloons and started rotating his chakra.
It didn't take long for Naruto to realize that in order for it to work you must spin your chakra in many different directions violently. Minato thought about giving Naruto some ideas but held off for now.
Naruto spun his chakra as fast as possible but instead of popping he simply made a hole and deflated the balloon. "Damn." Naruto then created 15 clones to all go work on the Rasengan. Naruto tried spinning his chakra into 2 different ways which worked but only made a bigger hole.
Minato decided to only help Naruto on the second part of the Rasengan training. Naruto tried over and over but couldn't get the right amount of chakra spinning in each direction. Jiraiya had finally woken up and noticed Naruto was still on the 1st part with the water balloon.
Jiraiya walked over to Naruto and grabbed his hand, he then drew a small circle on it. "What's this?" asked Naruto, Jiraiya pulled out a piece of paper, "Look at this." Naruto looked at it, "Ok, I've seen it." Naruto tried to see if there was anything weird about it but there was nothing.
Jiraiya grabbed it and drew something, "Now, if you will give it a second look." now there was a circle, the same marking on his hand was on the paper. "Ok. what about it?" Jiraiya sighed, "It won't do you much good if I explain it all the way but, the first time you saw it your eyes looked around the whole paper.
But the second time you looked at it you focused solely on the marking in the middle, am I right?" Naruto nodded, "Yeah." responded Naruto "Good, anytime a person looks at a blank piece of paper they have no place to focus on so the eyes just wander the page. But if you put even the smallest dot on it, the mind will focus on that single point and with that comes stability.
When you broke the balloon with a hole you were probably focusing but not on one point, you were just focusing on chakra which won't work. Hopefully, that helps, I'm going back to sleep." Naruto nodded and started focusing his chakra on that one point then expanding it slowly.
By doing this eventually the balloon started to stretch a little but it was too slow to break the balloon. "I'm close." Naruto continued to train for another day or 2 until he finally did it. Naruto was holding the balloon in between his hands spinning his chakra, the balloon began to stretch and stretch until it eventually popped!
"Yes!" Naruto was happy, he had spent 3 days total on this thing and it finally worked. Jiraiya was woken up by the screaming and noticed that the balloon had completely popped. "Good job, now we can move onto the next step," Jiraiya this time pulled out a rubber ball, "this time you will do the same thing but with a rubber ball, it is much harder as there is not a vessel to put your chakra into. Now I am going to do some research so don't bother me."
Before Naruto could start Minato gave him some advice. "This is what I did when I created the jutsu, I surrounded the ball with chakra to make it float in between your hands and then insert the chakra, this makes it much easier to control the chakra on the inside so you can pop it much easier."
Naruto tried it and the ball floated up above his hand and underneath the other hand. He tried to input his chakra into the ball but the weight increased and made the ball fall out of his hands. Naruto realized that doing it slowly would actually make things more difficult, he had to do it as fast as possible.
He floated the ball up and quickly started spinning his chakra which actually made the ball spin also, this meant he didn't have to use so many directions as the ball would already be spinning rapidly.
Naruto continued this but still couldn't make it pop. The next day he was training again but wasn't making any progress. Minato appeared next to him, "Try instead of creating new chakra in every direction what if you just made your chakra bounce off of each other."
"Thanks, I wasn't making much progress." "I could tell," replied Minato. Naruto did as he said and tried to make the chakra bounce off of each other. The main issue was that once the chakra was in the rubber ball it was much more difficult to control than regular chakra.
Minato again had to help, "Think of it as using a jutsu, except in the ball. All you have to do is circulate your chakra and make it bounce off each other." Naruto thought of it as doing gale palm inside the ball.
The ball began spinning rapidly and this time changing directions along with the chakra bouncing off each other violently, it made the rubber ball stretch until it finally couldn't hold together and popped.
Naruto continued to work on doing it faster until Jiraiya came back, just like that the month break had ended. It was time for the rest of the chunin exams! What will happen with Orochimaru and the Hokage, find out on Drag-

Might be the last chapter because the power might go out. The water is already out so it would suck if the power goes out too but IDK. For a vs battle, how about Yugito vs Kazekage Gaara?
