Ending and Begining

They had all been traveling for hours and hours until they reached the village where they were supposed to drop the client off at. Because it was late they all decided to stay at Tazuna's house. After they were all finished eating and in a good mood, Tazuna asked something.

"Please I ask you, take down Gato and his men!" he asked with a pleading tone. Before any of team 7 could answer Kakashi did, "taking out Gato and his men would at least be a C-rank mission but because of your money problem I will give you a small discount."

Inari yells at this, "why should we pay you just to fail! You can't beat Gato, he's just too strong!" Naruto and Sasuke both got a little upset by this. "Listen, kid, we are ninja, not some street thugs. We are way stronger than you realize so instead of crying try and do something or shut up."

Said Naruto, Sasuke nodded his head inside his mind. Inari started crying and left, Naruto and Sasuke didn't care and Sakura didn't care much either. It took a couple of days to get the money situation organized but the land of waves soon paid enough money for the mission.

"This will be good training for you three, I don't want you to just barge in there and attack. You should instead make a plan to do it swiftly and quietly." Kakashi stated he wasn't going to make the plan because he wanted to see his team's skill.

Naruto and Sakura were the ones who mainly came up with the plan, Sasuke just listened. After thinking this was their plan. Naruto would make 5 clones and transform into random-looking thugs for protection, Sakura and Sasuke would also transform as Haku and Zabuza. Sakura would then put them all under a genjutsu and then Sasuke would finish it.

They told their plan to Kakashi who agreed it was a decent plan. They then set off to find and assassinate Gato. all four of them were standing on a ledge overlooking Gato's business building. Sakura then transformed into Haku and Sasuke transformed into Zabuza, Naruto then created 5 clones and transformed into a typical looking mercenary.

First, the clones walked into the building to see if there were any ninja who could see through the transformation or the clone jutsu. After walking for a little it was clear that there was nobody who could. Sasuke and Sakura then walked in.

They got into Gato's office pretty quickly because of their popularity. "Took you long enough, I thought you were the demon of the mist? Guess I shouldn't have expected much." Gato said in an asshole tone.

Sakura then launched a new genjutsu Kakashi showed her, Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique. It was a D-rank genjutsu, this is a Genjutsu technique that causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The ninja will use the hand seal to cause a circle of leaves to spin and envelop the target and then fall away. Once cast the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion.

Everyone other than Gato was put under the genjutsu. Sasuke then pulled out a kunai and stabbed Gato in the chest, he especially had no remorse for a scumbag like him. Over where Naruto was you could see and hear people screaming and running frantically outside.

Because of the genjutsu nobody knew exactly what had happened that night. There were rumors about monsters, demons, and even devils. But almost nobody would know what happened that night.

They soon left the area meaning they pulled off an excellent assassination, Kakashi was impressed. After the assassination team 7 headed back to the waves to stay a night, they would leave in the morning.

The next day they headed to the leaf village. They were soon back home and it would be time for training again! Kakashi had just reported the mission details. Because of Zabuza, this would normally be counted as an A-rank mission but because they were only genin they put the mission in at B-rank, it was unheard of for a group of genin to complete an A-rank mission!

Kakashi appeared in front of his team. "Hello, guys! Sorry, I'm late, I got lost on the path of life." They all knew it was a lie but said nothing. Kakashi then asked, "So, do you guys know what the chunin exams are?"

Naruto then gave a brief overview of what he knew from what Tobirama said, "It's an exam where the village decides if you are good enough to become chunin by doing difficult tests." Kakashi nodded. "Good! Well, my question is, do you guys want to take it OR wait and do some missions to get experience under your belt?"

They all soon answered in favor of doing the exams now. Kakashi nodded again and handed them a piece of paper, "Just sign here and we will be good!" Kakashi said with a smile that nobody saw under the mask.

They all signed and handed back the paper, Kakashi told them to do physical training and then do whatever would be beneficial. Kakashi then went to turn in the paper. Naruto and the rest of team 7 would have to run around the village 4 times as the physical training, it was a beating even for Naruto.

It was a somewhat dark room and there were tons of jounin along with the hokage. "So do you have the submissions ready?" all of them nodded, "Well let's start with the rookies, Kurenai you start," said the Hokage.

"I nominate team 8 for the chunin exams." there were a few murmurs of surprise. The Hokage nodded and moved to team 10. "I nominate team 10 for the chunin exams," said Asuma. Even more surprise noises were made!

"You Kakashi?" Everybody expected him to decline as he never passed a team much less nominate them for the chunin exams. "I nominate team 7 for the chunin exams." now all the jounin were mad, "they are only rookies this is insane!"

The Hokage calmed them down and reassured them it was ok. Iruka trusted in Naruto and the rest's abilities and was not surprised by this. It was not long until they were all dismissed. Kakashi then headed to Naruto, they needed to execute their plan.

Soon it was night time and Sasuke was walking home. Soon two people jumped in front of him, they were wearing cloud headbands. "So this is the last Uchiha huh? Well anyways come with us kid." said the cloud ninja as he grabbed his arm.

Sasuke pulled away and used a fire jutsu on them. They dodged easily and attacked Sasuke, "I guess we do this the hard way!" The lightning attack stunned Sasuke as he fell on the floor. "Wait we don't need you, only the eyes! So we should just take your eyes and then kill you! Yes, how wonderful!"

Sasuke began to panic as the cloud ninja's hand came to his eye. Suddenly he felt a weird thing in his eye but he ignored it. Seeing this the cloud ninja stopped and a poof of smoke came out. Kakashi and Naruto were staring at Sasuke, Naruto had some satisfaction on his face. Kakashi had attacked him with some of his 1000 jutsu he knew.

Right before the chunin exams, Sasuke unlocked his Sharingan! This would increase the chances of winning greatly, this was why Naruto was so happy. The better chance he had of winning he would take. It was soon time for the exams!
