Bell Test

Naruto was sitting on one of the three logs at training ground three, 'how do they know me? Maybe Hanabi because of Hinata, but how the hell do I know that Konohamaru kid?' Naruto thought of many different situations but didn't think long until team 12 arrived. "Good, you guys are here. I have to ask, how do you two know me?"

Hanabi's answer was what he expected, "I've seen you with my sister, my father doesn't like you very much." Naruto nodded, he didn't really care what the Hyuga thought of him, well other than Hinata. "Ok, now you?" "Well it's only natural the world's greatest shinobi would know you, you took down that huge beast during your chunin exams!" Naruto shook his head, he got one of the stupid overconfident ones.

"Ok, well now onto your genin test." "Genin test!?" screamed Konohamaru, "Well, not that I'm worried because I am the greatest!" Naruto shook his head, 'I'm going to have to fix that attitude, this should be fun.' Naruto then took out two bells, "During this test, your main objective will be to get these bells, if you don't get one of the bells you will be sent back to the academy. If you get two of the bells you can either keep them both and the others head back, or you can give one or two away, then you will be sent back."

The rest nodded, "Also, in three hours you can eat lunch, then you will try again for another couple of hours, get ready." this test was a little different than the one he got but he liked it more, this not only showed what the previous test did but after lunch maybe they could learn from their mistakes and work together. "3, 2, 1, start!"

Konohamaru and Hanabi ran at him with full intentions to get the bells, 'hey maybe they can work together!' mid-way they looked at each other, "Why are you copying me!" "I would never copy an idiot like you!" 'great they are arguing.' Naruto did notice that the Nara kid actually hid, how impressive. Naruto instantly came in between both Konohamaru and Hanabi, he kicked both of them sending them flying in opposite directions.

"Pay attention to the battle, if you don't you could end up dead." Naruto already decided he would fix their attitude and right now pain was the best way of doing so. Hanabi activated her Byakugan and attacked, they were very good combat movements, for her rank, but of course, this was equivalent to nothing when attacking any jonin. Naruto kicked away both Konohamaru and Hanabi again, he then body flickered away.

"Hey Nara, not too bad of a hiding spot." Naruto then picked up Shuzaku and brought him to Hanabi and Konohamaru who were arguing again, "Keep out of my way, I can take these bells if you weren't here!" "Nobody talks like that to a main member of the Hyuga clan!" Naruto already began to hate them. They fought until the three hours were up, of course, they didn't even attempt to work together.

"Well this was boring, so we're going to change it up." Naruto summoned Gamabushi, "Gamabushi, here." Naruto then explained the rules to him and handed him the bells, Naruto then walked away to get Ramen. On his way he thought about asking if Hinata wanted to go, Naruto went and asked, and of course, the answer was yes but Hinata wanted some Dango instead of ramen so that's what they got.

"So how's your team, I heard you got my sister." Naruto shook his head, "They don't work together at all, it would be a pain just to get them to eat next to each other. She is strong by herself and maybe in a team just not with that Sarutobi idiot. I would fail them if I could." Hinata nodded her head, she had heard about how her sister hated that kid before.

"I was thinking about getting a team but I don't know if I'm cut out for it." "Why don't you?" "I'm shy meeting new people, I'm even shy around my own father." Naruto nodded, "Try to stand out more, then people will notice you more and you will get used to it, just some advice." Hinata and Naruto talked a little more before he had to leave, "Well it should be about time, I got to go!" Naruto then body flickered away.

When Naruto got back he saw all of his team on the floor, after listening to the report from Gamabushi they still didn't work together. "Well, you guys failed my test, but it was ordered. I had to pass you, so congratulations on becoming Genin. But because you didn't work together, I will have to fix that. Your first training is now!" Naruto looked over at Shuzaku, according to Gamabushi he was stronger and much smarter than the other two, he even tried to get them to work together.

Naruto created a clone, "Shuzaku, follow my clone, it will teach you the wall walking technique." Naruto then looked over at Hanabi and Konohamaru, "You two will have to work together, so let's start." Naruto tied both their legs together meaning they couldn't walk without the others' help, "I want you to run around this training ground until both of you drop, I will follow you to make sure you don't cheat."

Naruto stepped on a tree and walked up it vertically, "This is the wall walking or tree walking technique, this increases your chakra control. It's not too hard to learn, but it should keep you occupied until the others are done. If you have trouble ask me, first just coat your feet in chakra, you will eventually find the right amount."

Shuzaku picked up on the technique pretty fast, it was surprising because he had quite a lot of chakra, even for the Nara clan. After learning the tree walking technique he went to sleep, Naruto wondered if he liked sleep even more than Shikamaru. After a few hours, Naruto finally got to the point where Hanabi and Konohamaru wouldn't argue the entire time, now it was time to teach them some real stuff!
