70 Amazing! Tre Bien!

Before I start this chapter, I will not be doing the stripper mission, I can do that in a different mission but I was watching a show and I remembered how funny it was, if you can tell me what this is from you are cultured!

Naruto and the rest of team 12 both trained and did D-rank missions in a very short amount of time, Naruto had to be there for the D-rank missions Jiraiya had yelled at him enough to force him into it. Naruto and his team were walking to the Hokage's office to get a mission, "Sensei, can we get a real mission already, we've been on like a million D-ranks." "If you want one, then ask the Hokage." Konohamaru jumped in the air, he would definitely ask for one this time!

Naruto and the rest of his team were standing in front of the Hokage, "Hokage before you give us any missions you need to know this! We are ready for a C-rank mission!" Jiraiya nodded his head, "Well, I was already planning on giving you a C-rank mission so next time don't yell!" Konohamaru nodded in satisfaction not listening to what the Hokage said.

Naruto walked up and grabbed the mission file, Naruto read it and it was similar to his mission but he just assumed most C-rank missions were escort missions, Naruto was a little confused about the profession, he was a magician? "The client's name is Chono Uryoku, he is a 'famous' illusionist." Jiraiya then called him in, "You can come in now."

Chono walked in, he wore a completely maroon suit and had bright green hair and a bowtie, simply said he looked like a moron. "Tre bien!" Everyone looked at him strangely, "I am the miraculous illusionist Chono Uryoku, are you ready!" Jiraiya waved them off to leave, he had other missions to give out.

Naruto told them to go and pack their things and meet at the village gates in an hour, an hour soon passed and they all met up at the village gates, Naruto made sure his team was punctual. They quickly set off on their mission, the mission was to escort Chono Uryoku to his magic show unharmed, it seemed pretty simple but so did Narutos so he made sure all the Genin were on guard.

"So, Chono, you call yourself an illusionist, do you use genjutsu or something?" asked Hanabi, Shuzaku was yawned, he already assumed by the way he was dressed that Chono didn't know how to use chakra, he probably used magic which Shuzaku hated, he almost always figured out the trick. "No no, I can't use chakra so I use sleight of hand and box tricks. It usually tricks a lot of people."

Naruto rolled his eyes, he knew the dude was an amateur, his best trick was probably pulling a rabbit out of a hat or something. Chono turned around and looked at Naruto and Shuzaku, "I see you guys are skeptics, well after seeing this you won't help but be amazed!" 'I doubt it' they both thought at the same time.

The magic man then pulled out a scroll and summoned a small box, "You see here, we have a perfectly ordinary box. And as you see it's empty inside!" he opened the top and showed the box at an angle, 'at that angle you cant see the trick' both Naruto and Shuzaku thought. "But watch this! Just a couple of taps and this happens!" the box was opened again and a bunch of birds flew out of the box!"

"Wow!" Konohamaru was extremely impressed, Hanabi would have been if she didn't use her Byakugan to see inside the box. "Tre bien am I right!" 'No, it's not tre bien.' "If that's all then let's go, we don't have time to waste." Konohamaru was still impressed, "So Chono, why did you become a magician or whatever?"

"Well, until just a few months ago I was just an ordinary stall worker but I made a small mistake, I was fired, and not too long after that my wife left me and skipped town. With no job, I couldn't keep my house and I got kicked out, with one mistake my career, house, and wife all disappeared. And then it dawned on me, I should become an illusionist! Because so many things had vanished from my life I thought it must mean disappearing them was my talent! So even though I got offered another job I turned it down. If I can make 1.2 million yen I can use the 'saw a human body in half' trick, then my wife will surely come back!"

Naruto thought his backstory would make him understand him more but it did the opposite, he didn't even know what to say or think at this point, he was just so confused. Even if he was dumb he still felt bad for the guy, there was only one way to save him from this self-destructive path. Naruto would show him a trick so great he would realize he was bad and give up!

"Do you have any cards?" "Of course! What good magician doesn't?" Chono then handed Naruto the cards, Naruto handed one card to Chono. "Keep your eyes on the card, in three seconds it will completely disappear! 3, 2, 1, gone!" the card was now gone and nowhere to be seen! Chono was shocked, it disappeared in front of his eyes, that was impossible! 'Aren't you supposed to say tre bien or something?'

In reality, it was not a magic trick, instead, Naruto just grabbed and took the card so fast Chono couldn't even tell what happened. Chono fell to his knees, "Thank you, now I can see. If your talent was hair it would be a flowing maine while mine is just an eyelash. I will now work harder than ever to become the greatest!" 'Oh god, I should have seen this coming, also why did he use hair as a metaphor?' Naruto gave up on fixing his path, if he wanted to ruin himself then he would let him do it. Naruto and the rest of team 12 had to continue with their mission with Chono the illusionist!
