Unwilling Tobirama

"Sato Sama, do you need our help? He is the second Hokage after all; this is not an easy enemy."

Darui cautiously spoke while keeping his eyes on Tobirama. Tobirama's sudden attack on Sato wasn't something that Darui had expected.

Although Sato himself looked prepared enough.

"No need Darui, stand back. The second hokage was just verifying my words."

"If I was telling the truth about stopping the Uchiha coup, I would be strong enough to fight against him, at least."

"After all, that's the minimum requirement for breaking up a coup in enemy territory without any external help."

Sato walked up to his team, his hands in his pocket, as if he were sure Tobirama wouldn't attack him again.

"Essentially, the second Hokage was checking if I was trustworthy. He likely used some sensing jutsus before he met us to confirm Konoha's situation himself."

"Anyway, he was verifying my strength and trustworthiness; that's all you need to understand."

Sato reached his position and stood before Tobirama again. He was waiting for the second Hokage to react now.

The second hokage didn't let him wait too long either; after taking a deep breath, he let it go.

"As Konoha's second hokage, I thank you for helping our village. And as Tsunade's grandpa, I personally am grateful."

"But I hope you stay out of Konoha's problems. It is our business to solve them; I do not trust you."

Tobirama's voice became cold again.

"You should understand our positions are different. I am asking you to stop meddling in Konoha's business."

"Do not interfere in this war, fifth Raikage. Leave Konoha's premises to avoid any misunderstanding."

Tobirama narrowed his eyes and said calmly, but this made Sato smile, and his smile widened with each passing second.

"You are asking me to stay out of this? You want me to leave right away? Haha. You are essentially warning me."

"This makes me upset, second Hokage. But are you sure you want to do this?"

Sato made no secret of his dissatisfaction and spat coldly.

"If you were still alive, I would agree and leave Konoha right away. But you are dead."

"The one in charge is the third Hokage; under his rule, I have business relationships with two noble clans in Konoha."

"It won't be wrong to say that I have more influence in Konoha than most clans here."

"You can definitely force me to leave the second hokage. But I promise you, Konoha will attract my crazy revenge after this."

Tobirama frowned. He felt anger surge inside of him. Why did Hiruzen let Raikage have so much control over Konoha? It's absurd.

"What do you want, fifth Raikage? You certainly don't want to help Konoha, or you wouldn't have run away."

"I do not trust you being here. Don't tell me you will do nothing but watch as Konoha falls into weakness."

"You must have other plans."

Tobirama hated this situation; if he were in charge, the Raikage wouldn't have any influence on Konoha whatsoever.

The Third Hokage almost drowned Konoha in despair. Tobirama was enraged about his actions, but he was still trying his hardest to solve Sato's immediate threat.

"Is that so?"

After hearing Tobirama's analysis, Sato shook his head. He didn't answer Tobirama but looked towards Anko.

Anko saw Sato's gesture and understood what he wanted her to do. She started sweating, and she cursed Kurenai for putting her in trouble like this.

Clearing her throat, Anko smiled shakily.

"Uhem, Hokage Sama, that's not true! I asked Sato Sama to save Asuma. I am Konoha's special jonin, Anko."

"I issued a request based on the current situation. The hidden cloud team was not going to interfere normally."

Anko bit the bullet and took this blame, all for her friend Kurenai. But she was incredibly nervous, as she knew the second Hokage was notoriously cold-blooded.

"No! It wasn't her idea; I begged her to ask for help. I wanted to save Asuma."

"You have helped me enough, Anko. Don't take the blame for this."

Kurenai exclaimed out loud; she couldn't just stand and watch her friend and helper get blamed for her mistakes.

"If we are talking about faults, this is all because I got captured first. Hello, second Hokage, I am third Hokage's son, Asuma."

"Forgive me, but I don't think Sato Sama is here to cause trouble. My students are very close to him and he helped me, well, before my father.. sigh.."

"Anyway, Tobirama sama, please don't misunderstand Sato sama. He is not a bad person."

Asuma also gave his words of support, but hearing all of this back-to-back made Tobirama's veins pop.

Instead of believing Sato was a truly good man, Tobirama believed the more realistic thing. Sato was deeply in control of Konoha.

"Unbelievable, the Hokage's son, his lover, and a Konoha special jonin, all of you are speaking for him, the Fifth Raikage??"

"I cannot believe this. Raikage, did you penetrate Konoha this deeply?? Even Hokage's son is speaking for you."

Tobirama held his forehead, even when he heard Sato speak about the Senju eradication, it didn't shock him as much as this did.

Under Monkey's rule, Konoha might as well be finished. If there is ever a future war with hidden clouds, nobody would want to fight them!

There might even be backstabbers who believe Raikage more than Hokage; this is extremely dangerous for any hidden village.

'Tobirama is disappointed in Konoha; he is assuming the worst-case scenarios.'

Sato smiled happily during all of this tension; he was silently observing the smartest Hokage trying to keep his calm.

In fact, Sato deliberately didn't explain himself when Tobirama doubted him. He wanted Asuma and Anko to help him instead.

Sato was creating tension. He wanted to see infighting within Konoha; he was purposely making the second Hokage angry, bit by bit.

'You wanted the previous Hokage to think I was a villain, didn't you third Hokage? Now watch what happens when you mess with the Raikage.'

'I have revealed your disgusting acts and made Tobirama lose hope in Konoha almost completely.'

'Now, the Hokage will fight against each other. I sure hope messing with me was worth it.'

Sato smiled softly. He had a very vengeful nature, and it showed. Anyway, he didn't lose anything in this encounter.

And Tobirama won't be able to argue with him much longer; the situation was getting out of control.

Booom

An explosion shook Konoha, everyone quickly looked at the mushroom cloud rising in the middle of the village.

"A tailed beast ball. Tch."

Tobirama clicked his tongue, looked at Sato unwillingly, and teleported away.

Sato almost laughed, Tobirama was forced to accept Sato's existence. If all goes well, he will release his anger on the third Hokage.

"Let's go; there is a good show to watch."

Sato rubbed his hands and asked everyone to follow him. Everyone was going to, but they saw their destination was the battlefield. They instinctively stopped, and Samui asked Sato.

"What show Sato sama? Isn't that the battlefield?"

Sato chuckled and looked at the wooden giant punch the one tail Shukaku.

"The show's name is Second Hokage and first Hokage punish the third Hokage."

"It's a rare event; we can't miss it."
