"This stuff is great."

Sato said while walking along the mountain valleys, chewing on a meat skewer.

The valley between mountain peaks is where cloud village's shopping district was located.

*Rumble*

Sato stopped and looked up after hearing the sound.

"Thunder claps, this is the tenth one I heard since coming out."

Thought Sato, hidden cloud village while beautiful, had constant thunderclouds rumbling above it's mountain peaks.

The most concentrated rumbling was right in the centre of the village, on the tallest mountain peak.

That was the peak where Raikage's office was built on.

'This village is much more beautiful than Konoha.'

"If the mountainside wasn't so weak resource wise Kumo would have become the strongest village a long time ago."

When Konoha continued to become weaker, Cloud village continued to become stronger.

It was only after the Third Hokage died that Hidden leaf stopped going down the drain.

*Rumble*

Another thunder clap echoed around the valley

Sato counted 11 thunderbolts in his mind and moved on.

He kept walking around the streets, sometimes finding bookstores, sometimes restaurants and sometime districts he wouldn't be able to enter until he was of age.

"This is a complete society, there is everything here."

Sato sighed as he finished his meat skewer and dropped the stick in a nearby dustbin.

He decided to circle around the village from a different direction to go back home.

*Rumble*

Sato counted the thunderbolt absent-mindedly while walking along the side.

It was then that he found a large space below a small mountain peak.

"Is that a park?"

Sato watched with a weird expression.

He didn't expect to see a park here in Naruto world.

Kids around his age were playing Ninja in the park.

"This seems fun."

Sato smiled and walked inside.

He found a slide with no people and decided to give it a try.

"Here goes nothing."

Sato laughed while climbing up the stairs, now that he was this small, regular slides were large structures for him.

"Don't use that!"

Just when he was about to slip down the slide, someone exclaimed from below.

Sato looked down and found a girl his age looking at him from below.

When the girl saw Sato look at her she said again.

"Don't go down, it's broken in the middle, you will get hurt."

Sato was taken aback, but he decided to take her advice and climbed down the stairs.

After getting down he looked at the girl again.

She was around four years old, had amber eyes and deep red hair.

'Do I know her? Is this a familiar face?'

Sato thought, he tried to remember who she was but wasn't able to connect the dots.

Whatever, he will know it sooner or later if she was important enough to remember.

"Thanks, I am Sato, what's your name?"

Sato smiled and asked the girl.

Who grinned and replied.

"I am Karui, are you new here? I haven't seen you around."

Sato nodded to her, keeping the smile on his face, but his mind was in a different place.

'She is Karui? So that's why she seemed so familiar.'

'She is a future member of team Samui, a student of killer B, a sword master.'

'She is also Choji's future wife.'

Being the wife of a main cast automatically changed her from a forgettable background character to an important side character.

"So you like him too! Isn't he the coolest?"

Karui spoke excitedly, which made Sato concentrate on her again.

He didn't say anything until now and only nodded along to whatever she was talking about.

But even that was enough to keep her entertained.

"Yeah, totally."

Sato again agreed without thinking, which made Karui's eyes shine.

"I knew it, Master Killer B is the best, you know how awesome he is even if you just came here!"

Sato wasn't at all surprised by what she was saying, even in the series she had a great deal of respect for Killer B.

Her being a fan before she became his student wasn't out of the question.

"Sato, do you also want to become a ninja?"

Karui asked Sato out of nowhere to which Sato replied.

"Yeah, I am going to become a Ninja."

Karui waved her hands excitedly.

"Me too! I want to learn about swords from master Killer B!"

"Hey hey, which institution do you live in?"

Karui excitedly spoke while Sato started looking around the playground for a safer ride.

"I don't live in an institution, I Iive with my sister, do you live in an institution Karui?"

Sato said absent-mindedly while climbing up the stairs of a new slide, after getting an okay from Karui.

"Sister? Is she also new here?"

Karui asked but when she saw Sato climbing up she ran to keep up with him.

"I am from institution number 4, my parents were Ninjas but they died in the war."

Karui scrambled behind Sato while speaking.

Sato calmly waited for her at the top, when she managed to climb up she was out of breath, he patted the place besides him and sat down.

She followed his lead and sat besides him, both were looking down from the top.

"My sister isn't new here."

Sato answered her question, he wasn't in a hurry to go down the slide, the wind here was pretty good.

"You probably know her too, my sister's name is Yugito Nii, she is a pretty famous Ninja."

Sato said leisurely, but his eyes changed when he saw Karui's face.

He instantly closed his ears and then it came.

"Yugito Nii sama!?! You are Yugito Nii sama's brother!!"

Karui screamed out loud, excitement and shock visible on her face.

She quickly tried to climb back up and then clumsily bowed to Sato.

"I am sorry for my rude behaviour Sato sama."

Sato twitched his lips watching her act this different all of a sudden.

But he soon understood why, no matter what, Yugito Nii's status was similar to Killer B.

Karui respected Killer B a lot, her having respect for someone Killer B himself looks upto is very normal.

And he was Yugito's brother, the brother of a S class Shinobi, he was like a noble, as far as her status was concerned.

"Sit down."

Sato waved his hand without much care, but Karui was now very nervous around Sato.

She fumbled with her clothes, not knowing how to act, she was never told what was the correct way to act around people of high status.

She was just a four year old orphan kid, not the future Karui.

"Don't be nervous Karui, sit down, it's fine."

Sato said with a smile, and Karui finally smiled back a little.

She sat down besides Sato while fidgeting.

"That.. are you really Yugito Nii's Sama bother, Sato Sama?"

Sato nodded lightly.

"I am, and you can call me Sato."

Karui quickly shook her head, no way, giving adequate respect was very important in the ninja world.

Even an orphan like her knew that.

"Are you testing me Sato sama?"

"Will I be executed if I say the wrong answer?"

Sato almost fell down the slide after hearing those words.

Executed! What kind of person does she think he is!
