Waking up early the next day before sunrise, I completed my training quest except for the blood consumption. Because of last night's events, the only people allowed to leave the village were merchants of shinobi.

(I really have to be more careful) I thought, walking back to my apartment

(Well, I guess I could turn into the swarm to leave the village for now)

Reaching my apartment, I changed my clothes and went to Ichiraku ramen to have breakfast. After eating five bowls of ramen and talking with Teuchi and his daughter for a little, I made my way to the school.

"I'm probably going to get an ear full from Iruka-sensei for not showing up yesterday," I said, reaching the school. 

Once I got to my classroom, I sat in the back as usual. Since it was still early, the only person in the class was Shikamaru, who was daydreaming.

"I swear anytime I see you, you're daydreaming," I said, sitting next to him.

"Cause it's the only time I have peace; other than that, I have to listen to you arguing with Sasuke and the girls drooling over him," Shikamaru replied

"Yeah, but I'm done wasting my time with Sasuke," I said, leaning back and looking at the ceiling

"..."

"I'm sorry. Did I just hear you?" Shikamaru asked surprised

"You did. The more I worry about beating Sasuke, the more time I will waste getting better,"

"Holy shit, I can't believe it. Naruto is growing up," Shikamaru said with a small laugh.

"Well, you better believe it; this is a new and improved Naruto, a Naruto that will become the strongest," I said, reaching my hand into the sky.

"The strongest? What happened to becoming Hokage?"

"I don't wanna do that anymore; too much paperwork keeps me away from all the fun," I replied.

Hearing my response, Shikamaru looked at me like I was a ghost, and he passed out and fell off his chair.

Looking at him, I gave him a small laugh as the rest of the class walked in. Imedently, Choji was eating three bags of chips, Ino and Sakura were fighting over Sasuke while he was brooding, and Hinata, who was quiet, kept looking over at me.

Looking back at her, I gave her a small smile and a wave, and she became red and looked away.

A few minutes later, Iruka sensei dashed into the classroom with his binder over his head. Reaching the center of the class, he was surprised when nothing fell on him, not even the board eraser.

"What do you have planned now, Naruto? No morning pranks," Iruka asked with a small laugh.

"No, I simply don't care about pranking anymore," I replied

Hearing my response, the whole class went silent, and Shikamaru, who was just waking up, passed out again.

"Did Naruto just say he didn't care about pranking? This must be a dream," Sakura said

Walking up to her, Ino pinched her cheek, causing Sakura to yelp in pain.

"What the hell, Ino-Pig," Sakura yelled

"Guess you're not dreaming billboard brow," Ino laughed.

"Alright, class let's focus up, and Naruto, I'm glad to see you maturing, even if it's a little," Iruka sensei said with a smile.

As Iruka-Sensei took attendance, he got to Shikamaru, who was just waking up again.

"Shikamaru...Shikamaru...SHIKAMARU!!!" Iruka-Sensai yelled

"Y-yes, I'm here," he replied, pulling himself onto his chair.

"What's wrong with you, Shikamaru? Are you not feeling well?" Iruka sensei asked

"No, I just heard Naruto say he did not care about becoming Hokage anymore. I think I'm losing my mind," Shikamaru said, holding his head.

When everyone heard this, they all exploded into roars of confusion. Half the students passed out while the others looked at me as if I was a complete stranger.

(HAHAH, I didn't think that they would react like this. Totally worth it) I laughed in my mind

"I'm just joking. I will still become Hokage; that's a dream that will never go away," I said, causing the class to calm down again.

As the class went on, I felt people staring at me every now and again, but the two main people were Hinata and Sauske. 

6 hours later...

Once school was finally over, I waited at the school door waiting for Hinata. When she finally walked out, I called her.

"Hey Hinata, can I talk to you?"

"N-naruto-kun...w-what do you need?" she asked nervously. 

"I was wondering if you were willing to go on a date with me?" I asked

"d-d-d-DATE!" Hinata said, becoming completely red and passing out with steam coming off her head.

"Yeaaah I should have seen this coming," I said, smacking my forehead.

Picking her up, I placed her under the tree next to a swing. Sitting on the swing, I waited for her to wake up.

After ten minutes, she finally woke up, and when she made eye contact with me, she became red again out of embarrassment.

"I-I'm sorry, n-Naruto-Kun, I just didn't expect that question," She said, covering her face.

"You really are adorable when you are shy," I said with a small smile.

Hearing that, she became even redder and buried her head in her knees.

"N-Naruto-kun, how could you say such an embarrassing thing," she said with a muffled voice.

"So... are you willing to go on a date with me?" I asked again

"..yes," she said in a low voice after a few minutes of quiet.

"What was that I couldn't hear you?" I said, cupping my ear

"I said YES!" she yelled, still burying her head in her knees.

"Great, I will pick you up tomorrow at an hour before sunset," I said before leaving. 

With a large smile on my face, I ran back to my apartment. Laying on my bed, I opened the system shop, looking for something I could give Hinata.

After a few minutes of pondering, I decided to purchase the partner's ring. Even though the necklace of protection was like a second life, if an enemy used it on her again, it would not save her, and the earrings were not that useful for right now but something I could get for her later.

Purchasing the necklace, and a black box with a red bow appeared in my hand. Opening it, I saw two rings with a small white diamond in the center. 

Closing the box, I placed it in my inventory and turned it into a swarm. Even though I had never transformed into one before, I did not feel discomfort. It felt natural like I had been doing it my whole life.

After leaving my apartment, I left the village and found another bear on the other side of the village. I used only controlled lighting magic to kill it. After hunting thirty bears and placing them in my inventory, I went back to the village and entered my apartment.

Turning back to my human form, I sat on my bed and was about to take the bear out when I felt danger.

Jumping back, I took my sword out and got ready for a fight. To my surprise, the Anbu from last night walked out of the corner of my room and sat on my bed. 

"Well, I guess I was right to follow you; you are full of surprises," a feminine voice said through the mask.
