Chapter 2 : Gojo Satoru

In a house in the village of Konoha, on his bed, a young boy of about 6 years old sat in the lotus position, forming a mudra with his hands, seemingly meditating and training in his chakra control.

His name was Gojo Satoru, and it had been exactly one week since he regained his memories.

To be precise, he didn't know if he had truly regained his memories or if he had taken possession of the body of the one who occupied it before him. All he knew was that he possessed the memories of his previous life and those of this new body that were resurfacing little by little.

This world was very different from his own. Firstly, Satoru was fully aware that where he came from, this world was a manga world. However, unfortunately for him, he hadn't fully watched it. All he had seen were a few arcs long ago when he used to watch TV as a child. However, he hadn't been hooked, and with his status as the strongest, he hadn't really had time to watch anime, considering the increasing number of disasters at the time. Nevertheless, he had some knowledge of this world that might be useful to him.

Here, there were no wizards, but shinobi who were mostly gathered in ninja villages like Konoha. The best way to describe them would be soldiers in service to their village and country, trained in ninja arts from a young age such as ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu.

Gojo Satoru did not possess cursed energy in this world, but he retained his Rikugan. He had not yet determined if he had a way to use Limitless by replacing cursed energy with chakra. He had tried, but had not succeeded because the two energies were fundamentally very different, both in their functioning and in their nature. Cursed energy was negative, while chakra was neutral. Additionally, the difference between the two energies prevented him from using Limitless, even though his brain possessed the same characteristics as that of sorcerers. However, if he managed to transform chakra into negative energy, there was a great chance that he could use the Limitless spell exactly as in his world.

Although Satoru possessed the Rikugan, his abilities were not yet fully awakened due to the state of his young body. His brain was not yet fully developed, which meant that his eyes were not at their optimal state. However, they were already more than useful. Currently, he had a perfect perception of chakra, but also of another form of energy that he could see almost everywhere around him, but with which he could not really interact for the moment. The Rikugan also gave his body an almost divine control over his own chakra, allowing for extremely precise and complex manipulation of chakra down to the atomic level

His perception and control allowed him to reduce the amount of chakra lost when using chakra to activate a technique, bringing it to an infinitely close level to zero. This made it almost impossible for him to run out of chakra normally, as with cursed energy, and offered him a view of several kilometers. All these abilities would be enhanced over time as his body matured. He had experienced the same thing in his previous life: the older he got, the more his eyes perceived, which forced him to wear special glasses or a headband to restrict his own perception, as it would mentally tire him in the long run.

Since waking up, Satoru had had very few interactions with others. He had been advised to rest until he was fully healed. However, of course, he hadn't listened and had visited the village many times.

He received visits from only three people, who were his distant cousins. One was named Tsunade, she was 21 years old and was the first person he had seen when he woke up. She was also the one taking care of his health, being a ninja medic and a distant cousin. The second was Nawaki, Tsunade's younger brother, who was 11 years old. And finally, the last one was Kushina, who was the same age as him, another member of his family on his mother's side.

Among the people he had met in this world, Kushina was by far the one with the most chakra, even more than him. Yet, even without the Rikugan , Satoru possessed an incredible amount of chakra compared to other people he had seen in the village. The only person who had a greater amount than his was Kushina. It wasn't a huge difference, but that was not counting on the thing sealed within her, possessing an even greater amount than anything he had seen.

He was born in the ninja village of Konoha in the Land of Fire. His mother, Tera Uzumaki, had left her native country, Uzushio, which was an allied village of Konoha, long before his birth, and had come to live in Konoha. Due to her weak constitution, she was unable to become a ninja, so she opened a stand selling sweets. She married a man named Sora Gojo, who was a jonin of Konoha. However, he died on a mission when Satoru was nine months old. Upon learning the news, she fell ill and died while giving birth to Satoru. Luckily for him, Satoru had not inherited her constitution and was in perfect health, even more so.

According to what he had been told, Tsunade's parents had taken care of him when he was little, at the request of their mother, who was an Uzumaki and connected to the family on his mother's side. Personally, he hadn't cared too much about it, as the family tree didn't interest him.

However, this explained his relationship with those who visited him; he had, in a way, grown up together with them, creating a kind of strange familial bond.

Apparently, according to what he had been told, while training with Tsunade, he had had an accident because of her. By hitting his head, he had fallen into a coma for 3 weeks.

And that was his current situation. He would soon have to return to the ninja academy. Personally, if he could avoid it, he would. However, he wasn't strong enough at the moment. He could only lay low for now and develop his abilities to become the strongest again. After that, he would enjoy complete freedom.

Because in the end, even if he ended up alone, the strongest is also the freest.
