Chapter 56: Plans for the Collaboration!
"So, Ah Huo, what's your plan?"
Zetsu asked cooperatively, clearly curious about what the other party had in mind.
"Right now, I need you to make this information public across the entire ninja world, including Konoha!"
"Within three days, I want everyone in the ninja world to know about this!"
"Can you do it?"
It seemed that Zetsu didn't harbor any hostility toward him, which made this a promising start to their collaboration. Uchiha Yi smiled faintly, then took out a scroll and tossed it to Zetsu.
"I…"
Zetsu caught the scroll and was about to say something, but Uchiha Yi seemed to have already guessed his thoughts.
"Since this information is meant to be publicized across the ninja world, you can take a look first," Uchiha Yi said calmly and without concern.
Hearing this, Zetsu grew even more curious. He quickly opened the scroll, eager to know what was written inside.
Hidden nearby, Tobi (Obito) also wanted to see the contents of the scroll. However, not wanting to reveal he was eavesdropping, he could only remain quietly anxious in the shadows.
Over the past training period, Uchiha Yi had established a subtle mentor-student relationship with Pain and Konan. As a result, their perceptions of Uchiha Yi had grown somewhat complex. Deep down, they didn't want Ah Huo to have too much contact with Tobi or Zetsu. However, they had no valid reason to intervene and could only watch from afar.
"Hehehe…"
"This is interesting!"
"Leave this task to me! I guarantee that in three days, everyone in the ninja world will know about this!"
After reading the scroll's contents, Zetsu couldn't help but chuckle darkly. As a schemer of a thousand years, he quickly grasped the intent behind Uchiha Yi's plan to spread this information, especially considering the Konoha destruction strategy.
He had to admit—it was a brilliant move.
"Then I'll leave it to you," Uchiha Yi said before turning to leave. Entrusting this matter to Zetsu, with his unparalleled intelligence network through White Zetsu clones, was the most appropriate choice.
Collaborating with Zetsu—or rather, Black Zetsu—was a decision Uchiha Yi made after careful consideration. He had previously considered working with Orochimaru but quickly dismissed the idea. Orochimaru's bizarre behavior in the original storyline often raised suspicions. It was hard not to wonder if Orochimaru, under the guise of hating Konoha, was secretly aligned with it. Partnering with him might lead to betrayal, as seen with the Fourth Kazekage.
This left few viable options for collaboration.
Tobi (Obito) was too unstable, fixated on creating a world with Rin. There was always the risk of someone shouting a few words about "the bonds we share," causing Obito to have a change of heart, get swayed, and hand over his Kamui Sharingan willingly.
Pain and Konan were similar risks. It was hard to guarantee they wouldn't be swayed by "bonds" or other ideals.
Black Zetsu, however, was different. There were no inherent conflicts of interest between them, and Uchiha Yi's plan aligned perfectly with Black Zetsu's goals. There was no reason for Black Zetsu to refuse and every reason for him to be intrigued.
Gaining Black Zetsu's assistance would make it far easier to annihilate the Konoha Four (Sarutobi Hiruzen, Homura, Koharu, and Danzo). Without such intelligence support, the task seemed nearly impossible.
Uchiha Yi hardly knew anyone from those four clans:
From the Sarutobi clan, he only knew Hiruzen, Asuma, and Konohamaru.
From the Shimura clan, only Danzo.
From the Mitokado clan, only Koharu.
From the Utatane clan, only Homura.
How many members these clans had or who exactly belonged to them was a mystery. Even if someone from those clans paraded in front of him, he wouldn't recognize them. Attempting to eliminate these clans without proper intelligence would be a joke.
Thus, before acquiring sufficient information, Uchiha Yi had no intention of alerting his targets prematurely. For now, he'd settle for taking out Konohamaru as a small gesture of defiance.
The lack of information about his abilities would make Hiruzen and the others hesitate to act recklessly. After all, they wouldn't believe he was capable of exterminating all four clans based on the limited abilities he had revealed using his shadow clone.
This calculated patience was why Uchiha Yi hadn't made a move in recent months. Additionally, some issues in the Hidden Mist Village had consumed a lot of his time.
Nevertheless, it wasn't too late. A few months had passed—had they forgotten his previous threats?
Currently, the Akatsuki organization was in a dormant state due to the death of the Three-Tails' jinchuriki caused by Tobi. This delay in their plans gave Uchiha Yi some free time to play his long game.
Recently, Uchiha Yi had traded with Tobi for two forbidden jutsu: Izanagi and Transcription Seal. He initially wanted Izanami, but Tobi refused, wary that Izanami's counter to Izanagi might be used against him. Thus, the trade ended with just those two jutsu.
Despite this, Uchiha Yi considered it a fair exchange. With the pair of Sharingan he'd obtained from Uchiha Mikoto, along with the two gained in the trade, he now had four three-tomoe Sharingan capable of using Izanagi—essentially four extra lives.
However, Fugaku's Mangekyo Sharingan was reserved for other purposes and wouldn't be squandered.
Recently, Uchiha Yi had also absorbed the genetic material of 100 White Zetsu corpses, significantly enhancing his chakra production and reserves. His current chakra levels now rivaled those of Kisame Hoshigaki, often referred to as a "tailless Tailed Beast."
"Absorbing so many White Zetsu cells and still not reaching my limit… That's surprising," Uchiha Yi muttered, already pondering ways to acquire more White Zetsu corpses.

Three days passed quickly.
Thanks to Black Zetsu's efforts, the information had spread like wildfire throughout the ninja world. The entire world now knew the shocking news, with all eyes turning toward Konoha. Many villages began to stir, their intentions unclear but undoubtedly dangerous.
In this moment, Konoha became the focal point of the entire ninja world.
