Yuto stood in the middle of his secret training field, his hand glowing faintly with a spiraling sphere of energy—a rasengan. He observed it intently, noticing the imperfections in its rotation.
'Almost there,' he thought, tightening his grip on the energy. 'It's stable, but not fast enough. Naruto could form this instantly by the time he fought Pain. I need to close that gap before I take it any further.'
He dissipated the rasengan with a sigh, turning his gaze to the shadow clones practicing around him. Ten were working tirelessly on the rasengan while another ten were poring over scrolls, their hands moving fluidly as they practiced drawing complex seals.
One of the clones muttered, "This is the most work I've ever done, and I'm not even the real one."
Yuto smirked but didn't respond. Instead, he refocused on his training. His Kamigan flared to life, the crimson red of his eyes illuminating faintly as he studied his clones' movements.
"Focus on balancing the rotation and power!" Yuto called out. "If it's off even slightly, it won't stabilize!"
The clones nodded in unison, their hands glowing as they tried to mimic his earlier progress. But they soon dispelled due to lack of chakra. Yuto made more clones while thinking about using his points to his chakra reserves when he had saved 100 points, though he dismissed it because stat points should be saved because breaking through super kage level and going to otsusuki god level will be extremely difficult to almost impossible so he decided to save his stat points until he reaches super kage level by the ideas he had planned for the future.
Yuto's progress in fuinjutsu was also notable. He had reached level 2 mastery and was now learning level 3, though the path had been far from easy. The increasingly complex seals required not only precise chakra control but also an in-depth understanding of their mechanics.
'At this rate, each level's going to take ten times more effort,' Yuto mused, running a hand through his hair. 'But it's worth it. Fuinjutsu is invaluable, especially if I want to deal with bigger threats like the otsusuki.'
In the team 7 training grounds, Yuto practiced his swordsmanship with Kakashi. The clang of steel echoed through the air as their blades met. Kakashi observed Yuto's technique critically, nodding in approval as Yuto's chakra-infused sword hummed with power.
"You're improving quickly, Yuto," Kakashi remarked, his Sharingan active as he studied Yuto's form. "But raw talent alone won't cut it. Focus on precision, not just power."
Yuto adjusted his stance and replied, "Understood, Kakashi-sensei. I'll make sure to refine it."
Kakashi stepped back, placing a leaf in Yuto's hand. "Speaking of refinement, it's time for the next step. You've got decent control over your sword, but to use wind chakra effectively, you need to master the Leaf Cutting Exercise."
Yuto raised an eyebrow as Kakashi continued, "Hold this leaf in your hands. Try to make your chakra shape like a blade and try to cut it. This is the leaf sticking exercise, it will help you refine your wind chakra."
As Yuto tried it for the first time, the system chimed in.
[Quest: Master Leaf Cutting.
Be able to cut 10 leaves while sticking them to your fingers.
Reward: 30 chakra control stat points, 5 stat points to all stats, 10 additional stat points.]
Yuto's eyes gleamed with determination. 'This is exactly what I need to refine chakra control and practice for the future when I learn rasenshuriken. Not bad, system.'
He stuck the leaf to his finger and began concentrating, molding his wind chakra carefully. The leaf trembled slightly but nothing happened.
Kakashi chuckled. "You've got a long way to go."
Yuto nodded, wiping the sweat off his brow. "Then I'd better get to work."
For the rest of the day, Yuto alternated between his three core trainings: perfecting the rasengan, advancing in fuinjutsu, and refining his swordsmanship through the Leaf Cutting Exercise. Each task pushed him to his limits, but he relished the challenge.

Kakashi stood in front of Hiruzen's desk, his demeanor calm and collected, but his curiosity piqued when the Hokage pulled out a scroll marked with the kanji for Hiraishin.
Kakashi's single visible eye widened in recognition as Hiruzen placed the scroll on the desk. "The Hiraishin... Hokage-sama, what is this about?"
Hiruzen leaned back in his chair, his expression thoughtful. "Kakashi, I've been observing you. You've been training harder than ever, splitting your time between honing your own skills and guiding your team. I believe the encounter with Kakuzu shook you more than you're letting on."
Kakashi's eye narrowed slightly. "Hokage-sama…"
Hiruzen raised a hand to stop him. "Don't deny it. I've seen how you carry yourself—haunted by the losses of your past. Your teammates, your father, your Sensei… I know how much you fear losing those under your care. That's why I'm offering you this chance."
He gestured to the scroll. "My Sensei entrusted this technique to Konoha and Minato developed it further, but it's not just a jutsu. It's a symbol of hope, a legacy of protection. You once declined to learn it, and I respected that decision. But I'm asking you again—will you try to learn the Jutsu that got Minato his title of the yellow flash?"
Kakashi's gaze fell on the scroll, the weight of Hiruzen's words sinking in. Memories of the past surged to the forefront of his mind—Minato and Kushina's warm smiles, Obito's sacrifice, Rin's tragic death. He clenched his jaw as the images shifted to his current team: Naruko's fiery determination, Hitomi's quiet resolve, Yuto's uncanny brilliance.
'I've always been running from the past,' Kakashi thought. 'Back then, I was too lost in my own despair to take on Sensei's legacy. But now…'
He recalled the fight with Kakuzu, the split-second moments where his team's lives were on the line. His Sharingan had evolved in the heat of desperation, saving them, but the fear of failure still lingered.
"I…" Kakashi began, his voice low. He reached out, placing his hand on the scroll. "I'll do it."
Hiruzen's lips curved into a faint smile. "Good. I had a feeling you would. This isn't just about mastering the technique; it's about carrying on Tobirama-Sensei and Minato's will. And someday, passing it on to someone else."
Kakashi tightened his grip on the scroll, his thoughts turning to Naruko. 'She's his daughter. She deserves to inherit his strength, his legacy. But first, I need to master it myself before I can safely teach her.'
"I'll honor Sensei's memory," Kakashi said firmly, his tone filled with resolve. "And when the time is right, I'll ensure his legacy lives on through Naruko."
Hiruzen's smile deepened, a glimmer of pride in his eyes. "I'm sure Minato would be proud to hear that."
Kakashi nodded, slipping the scroll into his pouch. "Thank you, Hokage-sama. I won't let you—or Sensei—down."
Hiruzen waved him off with a gentle motion. "You're dismissed, Kakashi. Take your time with the technique. It won't be easy, but I know you'll succeed."
As Kakashi exited the office, his mind was already racing with thoughts of training. 'Hiraishin… This time, I'll do it. For Sensei. For my team. For the future.'
Hiruzen watched Kakashi leave, his expression softening. "Minato… your student is finally ready to take the next step. I hope you're watching over him."
