Despite missing the previous exams due to Saya not feeling he was ready for it, once Dax heard of her reason he began training to the point that Saya had to carry his body to bed so he could get some rest she slowly started to notice that as Dax grew stronger so did Ryu and vice versa as if their reserves are connected after finding this out she had them train together keeping this hidden until Dax found out for himself

In the past few months the number of metal sheets Dax has been using has rose to 100 completely covering his arms and shoulders in a scale-like armor while over half of them has seals that increase weight proportionate to the amount of chakra poured into the seal, currently doubling the weight of each sheet with such a seal on it this has drastically increased his reserves and control while also working on his physical strength which to has rose along side his Kenjutsu as for his Jutsu collection it hasn't grew since he learned the fireball jutsu from his dad mainly because Saya wants him to reach his limit with what he currently has

If this was all compared to the ranking system and put in a status sheet it would look something along the lines of

While walking through the streets with Saya ridiculously close to his side seemingly debating something internally shaking his head as he weaved through the filled streets his instincts flared causing him to grab Saya's hand earning a surprised yelp her as he increased his speed eventually reaching a empty training grounds, instantly getting surrounded by people wearing all black except a blank white mask with their respective numbers placed on the forehead

"Silently come with us our master has requested your presence and is willing to give you a spot in our organization"

Doing a series of hand seals 'Lightning Release: Static Charge' as Dax deactivated the weight seals a slight buzzing radiated from his arms as lightning chakra encased the metal sheets,

"Return to your lord and inform him that I'm not interested"

The masked man let out a laugh as he spoke

"You didn't have an option"

As the encirclement closed in Dax release a pulse of chakra and darted forward as the buzzing quickly turned to loud pops and crackles as arcs ran across the metal sheets on his arm appearing in front of the masked man as he connected with his face causing his neck to violently twist as the body hit the floor he kicked of the seemingly solid air towards another throwing a chakra kunai in the same direction just as he was about to dodge it the kunai flattened into a large disc nicking his throat as he attempted to block a kick his body got sent back as the disc formed into a ring around his neck

As Dax looked around he saw that Saya has already dealt with the majority of the rest with a storm of razor sharp leaves and the ones that are alive are barely so, seeing this made his stomach churred but slowly taking in a breath as he calmly turned towards the masked man who currently has a nice choker molded from chakra that's slowly cutting into his skin

"Who sent you"

"..." The 'necklace' slightly tightening as small lumps formed on the disc as it started to spin quickly gaining speed

"Whats your organization"

"Root"

Slightly surprised that he got an answer but not letting it break his overly stoic face

"Whos your leader"

"..." The ring dug deeper as the lumps slowly started to form into a hook ripping flesh as it spun

"Last chance, Whos your leader..."

"!!...."

"Very well then..." the ring suddenly widened vertically stretching his neck to the point that the brain stem snapped as the body went limp

{5 Months ago: Konoha Crush}

As Dax was tossing chunks of meat up Into the air as Ryu flew to catch them they heard an explosion coming from the arena darting that direction seeing panicked villagers but the medium dog sized dragon probably doesn't help... as he arrived at the arena he saw sound nin and sand nin fighting again leaf nin not even taking a second to charge forward with his tanto firmly in his grip as he joined in unknown to him a smile has grew on his blood soaked face he he exchanged strikes with the enemy nin as a buzzing started at a low hum to the point of loud pops and crackles as he molded lightning chakra in his free hand forming a long bow as he jumped back forming a large spear like arrow and shouting as he let it loose into the sky

"Fall Back!"

As the lead Nin jumped back just in time to see a heavy mist get spewed from the whelp flying above before the spear like arrow started falling back down splitting into hundreds of lightning sebons pelting the enemy, from the outside it looked like a flashes of light in the mist while on inside it was like standing in the middle of a storm cloud as the sebons fell piercing them straight through, and for the ones that happened to dodge it was already to late as the mist turned into the very thing it was akin to as lightning bounced around with in (Sheet lightning, its pretty cool) seeing this caused Dax to feel deja vu but quickly putting it aside as he darted forwards cleaving through the enemy Nin with a tanto in his left and a lightning chakra sword in his right eventually earning a bounty and a nickname throughout Konoha

Taking a deep breath to calm his nerves as he looks over the bodies just as he caught his calm they all spontaneously combusted looking towards Saya they both flickered away Dax heading home and Saya went to report to the Fifth Hokage,

After making her report the Hokage asked for Dax's presence nodding Saya sent out a series of pulses causing Dax to instantly flicker into the room the only sign of his entrance being the slightly opened window feeling that chakra was being used alongside the sudden entrance the Anbu surrounded Tsunade as Saya smacked Dax upside the head

"From now on you can undo the sheets while in the Hokage's office"

Nodding as he cut off the flow of chakra causing a multitude of metal sheets to fall on the floor before apologizing and picking them up and carefully stacking the sheets before making a box out of chakra to hold them

"You call Hokage?"

"From now on you are promoted to temporary chuunin under supervision of your Jōnin instructor, if after 2 months you are able to convince not only her but me as well that you are worthy of the promotion it will be made permanent, I am also extending a invitation into anbu to the both of you..."
