Chapter 4: Shinobi

When I walked out of the school gate. There was a crowd of parents standing there.

It seems like many parents came to school for their children's graduation. All the students and parents were happy and excited.

"Great Job! That's my son!!"

"Now! You're a man"

"I'm so proud of you!! I'm going to make your favourite dinner tonight"

Everywhere atmosphere was lively, many people were happy for their children's graduation and becoming a shinobi.

I was also hoping that maybe my family would also come here for me. But it seems like it was not the case.

Well I knew it is difficult to come here from the edge of the village to here for an ordinary person.

So the only one who can come here would be my father.

When I was looking for him. I suddenly heard some auntie's talking with each other with a displeased expression with their gaze on a tree.

I also followed there gaze to see Naruto sitting on a swing tied to the trees branch, with his head down.

"Hey that 'kid' " while pointing at Naruto.

"Yeah that's the kid. It seems like he is the only one who failed"

"Well that's good"

"We can't have him becoming a shinobi."

"Since he is-"

"Hey we can't talk about that"

I also looked at Naruto. And stood there for some time while looking at him. I wanted to go and talk to him.

In the beginning of our school years he used to sit near me. So we used to talk with each other and become friends but after some time he started chasing after Sakura.

But still I was his friend, i decided and started walking towards him.

But before I can walk towards him. Suddenly some one placed his hand on my shoulder.

I was annoyed a little and said back in little anger "Hey what's your problem-"

But I stopped in middle as the person standing front of me was my dad. He was wearing konohas jonins jacket.

He looked at me and said "Let's go Ace. Your mother is waiting at the home."

It seems like he doesn't want to talk much. So i replied with my head down a little "Yes.. father..."

When I pulled my head upwards, now i realized what happened. It seems like I was looking at Naruto for some time. So many people were looking at me with a frown.

I put my head down again and followed my father on the road.

When we were walking towards the house. Father was walking at the front and I was walking beside him but a little behind him.

He questioned me while walking in front "Why were you looking at that child Ace ?"

I looked at him and replied weakly "I am sorry father. I felt little pity for him. So I wanted to talk with him."

He moved his head towards me and he was angry with my response, And said "Ace I don't want you to get involve with that child. Many people doesn't like him. If you get too close to him, others will start looking at you with same attitude."

"And you have become a shinobi now. Control your emotions and only chase your goals. This time I will not say anything much to you."

I replied to him lightly "Yes father, I will keep that in my mind."

Time passed and soon we reached near the house.

When I opened the door a brilliant fragrance came towards my nose. It seems like mother really cooked delicious food today.

I just wanted to run inside happily into the kitchen. But with father beside me I didn't show any expression removed my sandals. It seems like father didn't take that incident seriously and only reminded me.

At the same time mother and Alex walked out of the kitchen. They both looked at my head band and smiled with a happy expression.

Mother said to me with a smile "Congratulations Ace"

I also replied with a smile "Thanks mother"

Alex ran towards me and said "Hey brother, please give me your head band for some time to play."

I started removing my head band but father said at the same time "Alex, only a shinobi can wear this band. When you graduate you would also have one for yourself."

Alex looked at him pouting and said "Come on father! I just want to look at it. I will return it to brother after some time."

At the same time I also clasped my hand together said "Father please let him take it. The head band is also a little heavy and ruining my hair style, I will take it from Alex after dinner."

Father looked at both of us and sighed "Alex return to him after the dinner is over." After that he starts walking towards living room.

Alex looked at me with puppy eyes "Brother please can you be a little faster."

I handed to him quickly "Here Alex"
