22 Surprise Surprise
Eigo met his family in the council meeting. Along with his family, the elders were also present in the council hall. Everyone had a complicated look on their face because of the rumor.
" How are you son? " Daimyo asked slowly
" I plan on leaving to fire lord temple," Eigo said emotionlessly.
Before the daimyo could react. Azumi(Eigo's stepmom)asked, " what are planning? Are you trying to rebel using the fire lord's influence".
Eigo just sighed.....
Daimyo was furious to the peak. He glared at Azumi. But Azumi didn't stop there.
"Many rumors and accusations are going about you. What is your explanation?".
Eigo wanted to speak he remained silent he knew either his father or his brother would help him.
But Suddenly his mother moved towards the daimyo and bowed down
" Daimyo sama, As per the collaboration between the kokuen clan and Mononobe clan signed by our ancestor as the current head of kokuen clan I hereby withdraw the collaboration between our clans as well any ties to the royal family".
After hearing Hashina's request every elder in the council hall are petrified.
Kokuen clan has the strongest spy network and most importantly kokuen clan was established in the land of fire almost from the warring state period they knew all the ins and outs of the land of fire. If they betray 60℅ of the country will fall within 6 months even though hidden leaf has strong Kage level experts one or two guys can't influence the entire country.
Azumi couldn't hold it any longer "Kill that traitorous mother and son".
Daimyo was furious at Azumi for creating this mess. He just wanted to check on his son after hearing about how he didn't even eat for 3 days that's why he called Eigo. But Azumi just escalated it too much.

Azumi was about to speak something but "GO..."Daimyo said again.
After Azumi left, Daimyo looked at Hashina " Hashina I know you are suffering because of what happened to our son but believe me I will make sure it never happens again".

Daimyo was silent again he can't act rashly he can't promise anything. If he promises to add Eigo into his clan he doesn't know what his eldest son would think. He doesn't want his two sons to fight for the daimyo position in the future.
Daimyo hesitated suddenly Hideki (Eigo's brother) stood up, "As the current clan heir of Mononobe clan I second adding Eigo Haruto into the Mononobe clan".
Everyone in the council hall was stunned because of the sudden proclamation of Hideki.
Daimyo glared at Hideki. Hideki just nodded " As the current head of Mononobe clan, I acknowledge Eigo into the Mononobe clan".
