The War Against the Hyūga Clan

Seven days had passed since Gen had unlocked Kamui. During this time, the Uchiha clan had completed their preparations for war and officially declared war on the Hyūga clan.
The Hyūga clan, having anticipated this, had already mobilized their ninjas and fortified their defenses. Relying on the treacherous terrain of their territory, they planned to engage the Uchiha in a war of attrition. Simultaneously, they had sent messengers to request aid from the Senju clan.

The Plan
At the Uchiha frontlines, a strategic meeting was underway. Leading the discussion was Uchiha Furen, one of the clan's three remaining Kage-level ninjas. With a stern expression, he pointed to a map of the Hyūga clan's territory laid out before him.
"The Hyūga clan is a major power in the Warring States Period," he explained. "Even among first-tier clans, their strength is unparalleled. Their territory undoubtedly houses well-stocked granaries. If we attempt a siege, not only will they outlast us, but our own supplies might run out first. Therefore, before we lay siege, we must destroy their primary granary."
Furen gestured to a marked location on the map. "Our informants embedded in the Hyūga's subsidiary clans have pinpointed the granary's location—less than ten miles from their main territory. The grain stored there could sustain their clan for three years. Destroying it will force them to deplete their other stockpiles, which might last six months at best."
Looking around at the six elite jonin gathered before him, Furen continued, "Tonight, I will lead the main force in a frontal assault on their defensive lines to draw their attention. Uchiha Ao, Uchiha Lan—you two, along with six elite jonin, will form a special task force to infiltrate and burn down the granary. Remember, this must be a hit-and-run operation. The Hyūga territory is guarded by Hyūga Tennin and other high-ranking members, so don't linger—get the job done and retreat."
After issuing his orders, Furen dismissed the meeting.

The First Battle
That very night, the Uchiha forces launched a surprise assault on the Hyūga defensive lines.
The Hyūga ninjas, caught off guard, were stunned by the audacity of their opponents. "We just saw them arrive this morning, and they're attacking already? Don't they need time to rest?"
Leading the charge was Furen himself. Displaying his Kage-level prowess, he unleashed a devastating fire release jutsu:
"Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation!"
The overwhelming sea of flames forced the Hyūga defenders into a desperate counterattack. Furen, wielding a sharp blade, moved with precision and ruthlessness, his Sharingan spinning coldly as he tore through their defenses.
Behind him, four peak-level jonin and twenty-one elite jonin provided support, unleashing a barrage of ninjutsu, shuriken, and kunai. The Hyūga side responded with equal determination, their Byakugan users leading the charge.
The two sides clashed fiercely, and amidst the chaos, Hyūga Kazehaya, one of the clan's strongest jonin, confronted Furen directly.
"Hyūga Tennin and Hyūga Shinzou aren't here to face me?" Furen sneered, deflecting Kazehaya's attacks with ease. "What, did they send you to die in their place?"
Kazehaya gritted his teeth and parried Furen's strikes with his blade, his Byakugan analyzing every movement. "To deal with the likes of you, our clan head and elders aren't necessary."
Furen's Sharingan spun faster, and he smirked coldly. "Have you forgotten the saying that's spread across the Warring States? 'One-on-one, turn and run.' You think you, a mere jonin, can handle me? Prepare to die!"
With a flick of his wrist, Furen trapped Kazehaya in a genjutsu, immobilizing him. Just as Furen was about to deliver the final blow, another Hyūga peak-level jonin, Hyūga Kaze, intervened. His blade, glowing with chakra, narrowly missed Furen as the latter dodged.
Working together, the two Hyūga jonin managed to break the genjutsu and resume their battle against Furen. "Now it's two against one," Kazehaya said confidently.
Furen merely chuckled darkly. "Interesting. Let's see how long you two can last."

A Shift in Strategy
The fierce battle raged on throughout the night. Though the Uchiha forces failed to breach the Hyūga defensive lines, the assault was a diversion. By dawn, news reached the Hyūga clan that their main granary had been burned to the ground.
The Hyūga leaders were outraged, but their anger turned to despair when the Uchiha swiftly cut off all routes into and out of the Hyūga territory, effectively laying siege to their lands.
Hyūga Kazehaya, realizing the gravity of the situation, attempted a counteroffensive. He gathered a force of ninjas to break through the blockade, but their efforts ended in disaster. Not only did they fail to retake the supply routes, but they also suffered heavy casualties, losing one of their peak-level jonin in the process.
When the grim news reached Hyūga Tennin, the clan head, he flew into a rage.
"That useless Kazehaya! He let them infiltrate our territory right under his nose! What's the point of having him around?!" he roared, his voice echoing through the Hyūga council chambers.
No one dared to respond as Tennin vented his fury. Finally, after calming down, he turned to one of his advisors. "How much food do we have left in reserve?"
The advisor hesitated before answering, "Enough to last six months, at most."
Tennin frowned deeply. "What about the Senju? We sent our request for aid days ago. Where are their reinforcements?"
Another advisor stepped forward cautiously. "According to our intelligence, Senju forces led by Senju Roma have been intercepted by Uchiha Dou near the Wind Plains River. Senju Roma has sent word for us to 'hold out a little longer' while he deals with Dou."
"Hold out?" Tennin slammed his fist onto the table, shattering it into splinters. "The Senju and Uchiha—both of them are playing games with us! Just wait. I'll make them regret this!"

And so, the war between the Uchiha and Hyūga clans escalated, with each side testing the limits of their endurance and strategy in this deadly game of attrition.
