Naruto : Behind The Scenes Big Boss System

My name is now Uchiha Gen. I was adopted by my uncle, and I have a cousin with a constant smug "legendary prodigy" look on his face—Uchiha Madara. I also have another cousin who’s perpetually annoyed by me but doesn’t dare say it because he can't beat me. His name is Uchiha Izuna. Then there's this absurd system I got stuck with, called the “Behind-the-Scenes Big Boss System.” Every day, it urges me to go and conquer the world, constantly threatening me with “elimination” if I don’t comply... for an Early Access to more than 50 chaps A month , feel free to join us on : Patreon.com/IndifferentVillain

Uchiha Tajima was visibly pleased. He had always been proud of his son, Madara. Standing up with a wave of his hand, he declared, "Good. We'll discuss specific tactics later. Now that the strategy has been decided, we must eliminate any chance of the Hyūga clan breaking through."

His gaze turned cold as he spoke in a deep voice, "Prepare to issue the Uchiha Suppression Order!"

"Uchiha Suppression Order?"

Gen asked, puzzled. This was the first time he had heard of such a thing.

"Inform all ninja clans: if they encounter a Hyūga ninja outside, killing a Hyūga Genin earns a reward of 1,000 ryo from the Uchiha clan. Killing a Chūnin earns 5,000 ryo. A Special Jōnin brings 10,000 ryo."

Tajima paused briefly, a fierce murderous intent radiating from him. "And as for killing a Hyūga Jōnin, the reward is 100,000 ryo. An Elite Jōnin is worth 500,000 ryo. For a peak Jōnin..." He hesitated for a moment, gritted his teeth, and continued, "The reward is 1,000,000 ryo. As for Hyūga Tennin and Hyūga Shinzō, hmm... forget those two for now."

"The Uchiha clan is this wealthy?"

Gen was inwardly shocked as he listened to Tajima's bounty amounts. Just how rich were they to offer such rewards?

He understood the underlying logic, though. The ninjas who could realistically be killed by these bounties were at most at the Jōnin level, and even then, not many. Once they reached the Elite Jōnin level, most ninjas in the Warring States Period could only look up to them. As for peak Jōnin, Tajima probably set the price as a formality, not expecting anyone to actually claim it. Of course, if someone truly brought back the head of a Hyūga peak Jōnin, Tajima would gladly pay up.

After discussing some more details, Uchiha Tajima announced the meeting's adjournment.

Gen, like most of the attendees, rose to leave. However, Madara was called by Tajima to join a few of the most powerful peak Jōnin in the back room, likely to discuss more detailed strategies against the Hyūga.

After leaving the hall, Gen stroked the sword in his hand, pondering for a while before heading toward the right side of the clan grounds, where the Uchiha training field was located. Most Uchiha children spent their time there practicing ninjutsu or sparring with each other. In the past, Gen often trained there with Madara, but he hadn't visited for over two months now.

Ever since revealing the origins of his ninjutsu today, Gen realized that he was gradually drifting further away from the core of the Uchiha clan. Uchiha Tajima would never fully trust him. As long as Tajima was in power, Gen knew he could never rise to the Uchiha leadership. Today's plan was a clear example: Tajima let Madara take the lead because he knew what would happen if Gen did.

Even if the plan was adopted, Gen would not be included in further discussions about its execution. It wasn't about his strength or intelligence—it was about trust.

This realization gave rise to a vague plan in Gen's mind. Though it was just a seedling of an idea, he believed he would make it a reality. Tajima's distrust didn't matter, and Madara was still on good terms with him. Madara's personality wouldn't care about trivialities like the origins of ninjutsu. If Madara became the clan leader, it would be a win-win for everyone.

Gen had always considered himself magnanimous, but the events of the previous day left him increasingly frustrated. He realized he wasn't as tolerant as he thought. Thus, whether it was the Hyūga or Uchiha Tajima, he had quietly marked them in his heart. The future was long, and there would be a day when he'd unleash his Susanoo to settle scores.

That's just how petty I am, Gen thought to himself.

When he reached the training field, he walked straight in. Many Uchiha children were sparring or practicing shuriken-throwing and Fire Release techniques.

Gen patted his face to bring a warm smile to it and approached a child practicing Fire Release.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

The child spat out a large fireball, but it quickly fizzled out. He clutched his upper lip and cried out in pain, "I burned myself again! What am I doing wrong?"

Gen smiled and said, "When forming the Monkey seal, your left index finger bent slightly. This causes the chakra flames of the Great Fireball to tilt upward, making it easy to burn yourself."

The child turned, startled to find someone next to him. Seeing Gen's smiling face, he exclaimed excitedly, "G-Gen-sama!"

Gen and Madara were the most respected figures among the younger generation of the Uchiha. Their prestige had soared after they killed a Hyūga Jōnin to save others. However, both of them had been absent from the training field for some time.

Gen smiled kindly. "Don't call me 'sama.' We're peers. Just call me Gen or Gen-nii. Let me show you how to form the seals for the Great Fireball."

Gen extended his hands and slowly formed the six seals—Snake, Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse, and Tiger—taking five seconds to complete them so the child could follow clearly.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

A massive fireball, far larger than the child's, roared into the distant artificial lake created for Fire Release practice.

"That's amazing!" The child looked at Gen with admiration.

"It's Gen-sama! He's at the training field!" A sharp-eyed little girl spotted them and soon the other children swarmed over.

"Gen-sama, my name is Uchiha Rin. Please teach me!" The little girl blushed with excitement.

"Don't call me 'sama.' We're all peers. Let's learn together." Gen's gentle response made her even more excited, finding him approachable and the complete opposite of the aloof Madara.

"Gen-sama, how can I control the trajectory of the Phoenix Sage Fire Technique?"

"That requires chakra control training—there's no shortcut."

"Gen-sama, I can't hit the target with kunai or shuriken. Any tips?"

"Your posture is off. Let me help you adjust it."

"Gen-sama..."

"Gen-sama..."

Gen patiently answered each question without showing any annoyance, carefully explaining the techniques.

His actions had a purpose. Uchiha Tajima's strength and authority were unshakable in the current leadership. As long as Tajima was in charge, even becoming an Elite Jōnin wouldn't grant Gen access to the core power circle.

But that didn't matter. The next generation was the true future. By earning their admiration and goodwill now, they would remember his kindness.

Over time, Gen could position himself as their most influential figure. In this way, he could surpass even Madara in influence when this new generation rose to prominence.

Madara could take the spotlight while Gen quietly built his foundation. One day, the Uchiha clan would be under his control.

Smiling warmly, Gen continued teaching the children.
