Chapter 2: Information

'Damn thing, I'm not a fake Genin, I became a Genin legally mmm!' thought Naruto, annoyed with the screen, but recalling the events that led to becoming a Genin, he couldn't help but scratch his head.

"Well, whatever, my headband proves I'm a Genin, no matter what, dattebayo," he said, nodding to himself, trying to convince himself.

Looking back at the status, his gaze focused on the chakra part. He could understand it refers to the amount of chakra he has, though he wasn't sure if he had a lot or a little. But he couldn't understand what EXP was, nor vitality, physical, spirit, and mind. Although the number next to mind didn't sit well with him.

[Ding]

[EXP: It's a way of measuring the user's progress through accumulating experience gained from completing missions. By achieving a certain amount of experience, the user will level up and receive a significant reward.]

[Vitality: Refers to the body's ability to recover energy. Depending on vitality, body and chakra regeneration will increase.]

[Physical: Refers to the body's ability to exert strength and speed when performing an action. Depending on physical attributes, greater strength and speed can be achieved.]

[Spirit: Refers to something immaterial of the user that reflects their will, desires, and experiences. Depending on spirit, resistance to Genjutsu and techniques affecting the mind can increase.]

[Mind: Refers to the capacity to retain, recall, and analyze information. Depending on the mind, learning capacity and body reaction will increase.]

[Levels, based on occupation, are reflected as follows:

Genin: 10-30

Chunin: 30-60

Jonin: 60-80

Kage: 80-100]

"What?! This can't be! My mind can't be that low...! I can't even reach Genin level," Naruto said, frustrated. It seemed strange how uneven his mind and vitality were compared to the other two; he could understand vitality, being from the Uzumaki clan known for their vitality, but his mind left him perplexed.

'I can't believe I'm so mentally incompetent,' thought Naruto, feeling down. He remembered being called a fool and an airhead many times, but he didn't think it was that bad.

He decided to stop thinking about it and focused on something else. 'Reward for completing the experience, hmm,' he thought with a curious and expectant face, trying to guess what the reward would be. A jutsu? A cool weapon? Or A COUPON FOR FREE RAMEN FOR A MONTH AT ICHIRAKU RAMEN?.

'I don't know what it is, but I hope it's something incredible,' he thought excitedly, hoping to level up quickly, though he didn't know how long it would take.

"Incredible, these are the techniques I learned," Naruto said curiously as he looked back at the status; his gaze fell on the parts about the techniques. Just as he finished speaking, a new screen appeared explaining all the techniques he knew.

[Jutsu: Clone [LV 1]

This jutsu creates illusory copies of the user due to the user's large chakra capacity; it's difficult for the user to perform this technique.

Note: For the user to be able to perform this technique, they need to improve their chakra control.

Cost: 20 Chakra]

'So, because I have a lot of chakra, I couldn't do the Clone Jutsu,' he thought, putting on a thoughtful expression. That explained why he could never perform that technique. But what was chakra control? He couldn't remember what it was.

[Jutsu: Transformation [LV 10]

This jutsu overlays an illusion over the body. The chakra cost depends on the difference between the transformation and the user.

Note: Because the user has a large amount of chakra and their chakra has a special trait, their transformation is a real transformation, causing a higher chakra cost.

Cost: 100 Chakra]

I never realized my transformation was different from others, even though I often used it to escape after playing pranks on someone or painting the Hokages' faces.

[Jutsu: Body Replacement [LV 2]

This jutsu allows the user, while on a surface and with full mobility, to replace themselves with any nearby object or living being and overlay an illusion of the user for a short duration.

Note: A very useful jutsu, mastering it is recommended.

Cost: 40 Chakra]

I didn't really use this technique much. It's a very complicated technique; if it weren't for the Clone Jutsu, it would be the most difficult jutsu for me.

[Jutsu: Shadow Clones [LV 1]

This jutsu creates a solid clone of the user with a fraction of the user's chakra. This clone has degraded capabilities compared to the user and with a certain strength is destroyed. Depending on how many clones the user creates, the chakra is divided.

Note: This jutsu has the great ability to return memories from the clone to the user. It's very effective for espionage and training.

Cost: 100 Chakra ]

"Hmm... Return memories to the user?" he said, scratching his head. He didn't remember receiving any memories from a clone, although, well, last night he didn't have time to stop and think about things. It's most likely he ignored it.

Stopping scratching his head, he looked back at the screen. "Oh! Shadow Clone can be used for training, that's awesome, Dattebayo!" Naruto exclaimed with joy, thinking about training with shadow clones to surpass Sasuke and show Sakura that he was better than Sasuke, and finally get her to go out with him.

Unable to resist, he created a shadow clone and told it to go far away and dissipate after a while, to see if it really worked. He watched as the clone hurried out the door, also eager to test the truth of what the screen said, while he stayed behind thinking about what to do after confirming the shadow clone's ability.

He could make better pranks or have more success in escapes. He could put a clone as a lookout to dissipate when someone was close to catching him. No, now he was a ninja, he was supposed to act like a ninja, he couldn't keep playing pranks on people.

But if someone deserved it, there were so many things he could do, so many pranks, while a mischievous smile appeared on his face. "How exciting, Dattebayo."

Author's note: Due to certain complications when it came to the chakra expenditure of the *shadow clone* jutsus I decided to raise Naruto's Chakra level from 40,800 to 61,200. This modification will appear in future chapters.
