Chapter 10

Yuu soon arrived in a sector where this time he found old people moving around as they quickly armed themselves ready to give their all in defending the village from the fox demon. This sector despite being the nearest was actually a few hundred meters away from the previous one which meant that while they must have heard the commotion happening across the village, they hadn't yet heard what was happening in one of their sectors as the chaos in the village was great enough to mask it.

"Hurry up and finish wearing your armour old fool. We can't let the young generation face that monster alone." Said one old shinobi woman who had already finished dressing up.

"I know! Don't rush me you old goat!" said another irritated old man who was putting on his armour as fast as he could. They were in the middle of their argument when they suddenly sensed multiple objects flying towards them. They quickly dodged the projectiles only to look down and see explosion tags attached to the dodged projectiles.

"Shit!!...." the explosion tags went off setting off a loud explosion in the building injuring a lot of the old shinobi who had not been prepared for the attack. Yuu quickly followed the attack sequence by flooding the room with the anaesthetic powder after which he held a kunai in each hand coating them both with lightning blade. He had realized that most of the old shinobi were around low to mid Genin level with a few powerful ones being at Peak Genin and low to mid Chunin hence he decided that it would be much easier to overwhelm them with his physique in close combat.

Yuu quickly rushed towards the old shinobi quickly killing the ones who had been heavily injured after which he began to fight the remaining ones as he waited for the anaesthetic to do its work. Half a minute later the old shinobi fighting against him could no longer feel their limbs which made it easy for Yuu to slaughter them as well as collect and store their bodies.

Yuu could still hear the sounds of battle between the village's shinobi against the enraged jinchuriki and hence he quickly advanced towards the third sector. This time he threw multiple explosion tags to disorient them after which he threw multiple anaesthetic powder pouches to weaken them and lastly, he threw a few smoke bombs he had made to limit visibility. After which he cast 'Water release: flowing stream' flooding the entire floor he was on in water and finally casting 'Lightning release: Shocking current' which sent a large amount of electricity into the water shocking and incapacitating nearly all of them.

The paralyzing effect of his lightning alongside the anaesthetic made it much easier to deal with them. Soon, after a few minutes, Yuu could be seen heavily breathing as he stood amidst a dozen corpses. He quickly stored the rest of the bodies in scrolls and was about to head towards the last sector when he heard the final outcry of the nine-tailed fox after which its murderous intent disappeared.

'Looks like it has been sealed. Time to go'

Yuu quickly created four lightning clones which he filled with almost all of his chakra after which he sent them towards the direction of the battle on the other side of the village in order to delay the ninja there for a bit longer while he made his escape. He had of course changed them using a transformation technique to look like one of the shinobi of Kumogakure he had seen in the Kumo genin's memories. Even their clothes had been changed to match the clothing style of Kumo shinobi.

Meanwhile Yuu quickly left the scene heading even further away from the elder home. After which he quickly entered a couple of alleyways ensuring to erase his footprints and any trace of himself. He had even spread a lot of spices on his routes and on his clothes in order to prevent the tracking of his scent by the dogs of the Inuzuka clan. After ducking and weaving through dozens of alleys, he finally entered a forest area near the training grounds and headed towards a river deep within the forest. In this river, he quickly dumped the bodies of the shinobi he had killed while also quickly bathing himself in the waters and changing into different ordinary civilian clothes after which he dumped his old gear into the river as well and headed back to the village.

A few minutes later, he could be seen sitting comfortably back in his own home. Even now as he thought of what he had done that night, his heart couldn't stop racing in exhilaration and fear of his deeds. With the help of his powerful anaesthetic powder and his peak Genin strength, he had managed to kill 31 old shinobi. He could have killed more but he knew that being greedier when the nine-tailed distraction was gone would be nothing more than sheer stupidity hence why he had decided to escape. At some point during his journey of erasing his scent and trail, he had heard three loud explosions sound off on the other side of the village indicating that his lightning clones had exploded in attempt to delay the Konoha shinobi. This had caused him to speed up as he knew that soon the ninja would begin to search the village for anyone who looked suspicious and hence he needed to finish everything quickly and return him before then.

Luckily his own apartment was quite a distance from Naruto's district and hence he was able to make it home before the searching shinobi managed to reach his sector. He had quickly removed his clothes, wiped away his sweat, put on some pyjamas and crawled into his bed by the time the shinobi arrived to inspect his district area. Two hours later, he heard a knock on the door of his apartment. He quickly opened his door only to find himself face to face with a shinobi boy dressed in combat gear. However, what was special about this boy was the fact that his eyes didn't contain any pupils. Instead, they were pure white with the centre part of the eye possessing a creamy sort of colour. It was truly freaky and disconcerting seeing it quite up-close and even though he had seen Hinata's eyes which were similar, he still couldn't get used to those pupilless eyes.

"Hello. Can I help you?" asked Yuu with a polite tone as he looked at the boy who judging by his chakra level was a chunin level shinobi.
