Newly Weds

-4 Month later-

Menma yawned as he stretched his arms and got up from his bed. He rubbed his eyes and walked towards the kitchen, where Temari was cooking breakfast.

"Good morning, Temari," Menma greeted her with a smile.

"Good morning, Menma. Did you sleep well?" Temari asked as she flipped a pancake.

"Yeah, I did. How about you?"

"I had a good sleep, too. The bed was comfortable," Temari replied.

Menma chuckled. "Well, I'm glad you like it. So, what are you making for breakfast?"

"I'm making pancakes, eggs, and bacon," Temari said as she turned off the stove.

"That sounds great. Can I help with anything?" Menma offered.

Temari smiled. "No need, I got it under control. You can set the table."

"Sure thing," Menma said as he grabbed some plates and utensils from the cabinet.

As he was setting the table, Menma asked, "So, what do you have planned for today?"

"I have a mission with Shikamaru and Choji. We have to gather some information about a missing-nin from the Sand Village," Temari replied.

"That sounds interesting. Good luck with that," Menma said.

"Thanks, I'll try my best. How about you? What are your plans for today?" Temari asked.

"I don't have anything planned yet. Maybe I'll train a bit or hang out with Naruto later," Menma said.

Temari nodded. "That sounds like a good idea. You should spend some time with your brother."

Menma smiled. "Yeah, I should. It's been a while since we've hung out."

Temari finished cooking breakfast, and they sat down to eat. They chatted about their respective missions and plans for the day as they enjoyed their meal.

Despite the political reasons behind their engagement, Menma and Temari had developed a close relationship and genuinely cared for each other. They had learned to make the most of their situation and find happiness in each other's company.

After they finished eating they cleaned up then went on their way. As Menma trudged through the bustling streets of konoha, the fresh air morning brushing against his whiskers he went in search of his brother.

'You two have gotten real close huh kit?' The resident devil asks with a slight smirk

'Well that is to be expected since Temari and I have been living together for 4 months.' He replies coolly as he walked up to his brother's apartment.

Naruto greeted Menma with a wide grin as he opened the door. "Hey bro, what brings you here so early?"

"I wanted to check in on you, see how you're doing," Menma replied, stepping inside.

Naruto chuckled. "I'm doing great, as always. But it's good to see you. Have a seat, I'll make us some breakfast."

As Naruto bustled about the kitchen, Menma looked around the apartment. It was small and modest, but Naruto had made it his own with various posters and decorations. Menma felt a twinge of envy at his brother's easygoing nature and carefree attitude.

"So, how's living with Temari going?" Naruto asked as he set a plate of eggs and toast in front of Menma.

"It's going well. We're still getting used to each other, but I think it's going to work out," Menma said, taking a bite of his food.

Naruto nodded. "That's good to hear. You know, I've been thinking, maybe we could all hang out sometime. Me, you, Temari, and my girlfriend Hinata."

Menma raised an eyebrow. "Girlfriend? When did that happen?"

'So both brothers are rizzlords now?' Kurama muses to himself as he let out a chuckle.

Naruto blushed slightly. "It's been a few months now. She's great, you'll love her."

Menma smiled. "Sure, that sounds like fun. We should definitely do that sometime."

As they finished their breakfast, Menma couldn't help but feel a sense of longing for the easy bond his brother seemed to have with everyone around him. He knew he had to work harder to build those connections himself, but sometimes it felt like an impossible task.

As they strolled through the village, they could see people going about their daily business. Naruto pointed out various places of interest, telling Menma stories of his adventures and misadventures in the village. They passed by the Ichiraku ramen stand, and Naruto insisted on stopping for a bowl of his favorite food.

As they sat down to eat, Menma noticed a commotion down the street. People were running and shouting, and smoke was rising in the distance.

"What's going on over there?" Menma asked, pointing to the source of the disturbance.

Naruto's eyes widened. "That's the direction of the Hokage's office. Let's go check it out."

They quickly paid for their food and made their way towards the source of the smoke. As they drew closer, they could hear the sounds of battle and see the flashes of jutsus being used.

"What's happening?" Menma asked, feeling a sense of unease.

"I don't know, but we have to help!" Naruto said, determination in his eyes. Together, the brothers rushed towards the fray.

As they approached the battle, Menma could see that the attackers were a group of rogue ninja who had somehow managed to breach the village's defenses. They were outnumbered, but they fought fiercely, their weapons flashing in the sunlight.

Menma quickly assessed the situation, noticing that the rogue ninja seemed to be targeting the civilians more than the ninja. He quickly devised a plan and signaled to Naruto.

"Bro, I have an idea. You distract them, and I'll take care of the civilians."

Naruto nodded, his face set in determination. He charged towards the rogue ninja, his fists glowing with chakra.

Menma darted towards the civilians, herding them towards a nearby shelter. He used his quick reflexes to dodge any attacks aimed at him, and his heightened senses allowed him to detect danger before it could harm anyone.

As Naruto fought off the rogue ninja, Menma led the civilians to safety. He could see that his brother was holding his own, but the rogue ninja were tough opponents. Menma quickly assessed their strengths and weaknesses, and he came up with a plan to take them down.

He signaled to Naruto, who understood immediately. Together, they executed their plan flawlessly, taking down the rogue ninja and saving the village from further harm.

As the dust settled the brothers could be seen standing side by side as they panted, beads of sweat forming on their foreheads.

"Haha, that was fun!" Naruto says grinning from ear to ear as he wiped the sweat off his forehead, Menma smiled and nodded feeling a sense of satisfaction.

Menma agreed with his brother, feeling a rush of adrenaline still coursing through his veins. "Yeah, it was pretty exciting. But we have to be careful, there could be more rogue ninja out there."

Naruto nodded solemnly. "You're right. We have to be prepared for anything."

Tsunade approached Naruto and Menma, a look of gratitude on her face. "Thank you for your help, boys. You showed great courage and skill out there."

Naruto grinned. "No problem, Granny. We're always happy to help out."

Menma nodded, "Yes, it was an honor to assist in protecting the village."

Tsunade's eyes flickered over to Menma, studying him for a moment. "You know, you have a lot of potential, Menma. I see great things in your future."

Menma felt a surge of pride at Tsunade's words. "Thank you, Hokage-sama. I will do my best to live up to your expectations."

Tsunade smiled, placing a hand on Menma's shoulder. "I have no doubt that you will, Menma."

As Tsunade walked away, Naruto slapped Menma on the back. "See, I told you that you were awesome!"

Menma grinned. "Thanks, Naruto. You're not too bad yourself."

The two brothers laughed and headed back to their homes, as they made their way back to their respective homes, Menma couldn't help but think about the knowledge he had acquired from his promise with Odin.

He knew that the future held great danger for the ninja world, and he had to do everything in his power to prevent it from happening.

But for now, he was content with protecting his new home and building the relationships that he had built so far.

As he walked through the streets, Menma couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging in the village. He had found a place where he could use his skills for good, and he had a brother who had his back no matter what.

But Menma also knew that he had to keep his knowledge of the future to himself, at least for now. He didn't want to disrupt the timeline or cause any unintended consequences.

As he arrived at his apartment, Menma reflected on his journey so far. He had lost his memories of his original world, but he had gained a new family and a new purpose.

And he knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, he would face them with the same calm, intelligent, innovative, and slightly cocky attitude that had served him well so far.

-7 days later-

As the announcement of their engagement drew near, Menma found himself feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. He and Temari had grown closer over the past few months, and he knew that he had developed feelings for her.

But at the same time, he couldn't ignore the fact that this was a political marriage, arranged by the council of elders to strengthen the alliance between Konoha and the Hidden Sand. He wondered if Temari truly had feelings him or if she was just going along with the arrangement.

Despite his doubts, Menma remained calm and collected on the day of the announcement. He stood proudly next to Temari as their engagement was officially announced to the village.

The days leading up to their wedding were a flurry of activity. Menma was involved in the preparations, ensuring that everything was perfect for their special day. He worked closely with Temari and her family, getting to know them better and building a stronger bond.

As the day of Menma and Temari's marriage ceremony approached, the village was abuzz with excitement. The council of elders had agreed to a political marriage between the Hidden Leaf Village and the Hidden Sand Village, and the union of Menma and Temari was seen as a symbol of the strong ties between the two villages.

On the day of the ceremony, the sun was shining brightly and a light breeze was blowing through the trees. The village was decorated with flowers and banners, and the air was filled with the sounds of music and laughter.

Menma was dressed in his traditional formal attire, a dark green robe with gold trimmings. Temari was wearing a beautiful white and gold kimono, with her hair styled in an elegant bun.

As the ceremony began, Menma and Temari stood before the altar, holding hands. The priestess began the ritual, reciting ancient vows and blessings. The couple exchanged rings, a symbol of their eternal love and commitment to one another.

As the ceremony came to a close, the priestess announced, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Menma leaned in and gave Temari a gentle kiss on the lips, as the crowd cheered and applauded.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds were greeted by their friends and family, who offered their congratulations and blessings. They then took part in a traditional feast, with food and drink from both the Hidden Leaf and Hidden Sand Villages.

As the night wore on, Menma and Temari took to the dance floor, twirling and spinning to the music. They were the picture of young love, happy and carefree, surrounded by the love and support of their friends and family.

The marriage of Menma and Temari was not only a union between two young people in love, but a symbol of the strong bonds between their villages. It was a day that would be remembered for years to come, a day of joy and celebration for all.
