The horrifying chakra of the now-identified Kyubi was permanently sunk into the civilians that night and to the newly transmigrated Kaos, the fear was undeniable. Weapon Technique?

*Thud* *Thud* *Thud*

"Damn it, 2 out of 10." I groan out. Looking at the kunais of the floor, my mind goes back to the progress I've made.

My hits are now consistently hitting the target but aren't sticking to the stump. After a few weeks of training overhead throws it definitely helped me improve.

At least the projectiles going straight which is a good sign with my young body. I've improved my coordination as it was important for all activities.

The problem I mostly faced was the power to be able to throw the projectiles. Other than that my stamina growth was inhuman as I could jog/run for over an hour now straight now (Considering his age of 5 that's pretty inhuman). This also includes the strength of both of my arms as it would usually tire out after 15 throws.

There wasn't anything like a "limit" for my stamina right now. It was just a constant growth that was addicting.

Seeing my muscles slowly get bigger also helped. Don't know how it's possible for a five-year-old but chakra is the answer to most things in the body.

The more I threw and trained one day, the next I could do more. It makes progress feel more exhilarating.

Walking up to the stump I pick up all ten of my kunai and get ready to throw shuriken.

*Cling*

Bunching them all up in my grasp I neatly put them inside the box. Then I took out ten shurikens that I had to buy myself.

Speaking of the guy it was the final day before he would be leaving the village. While our interactions have been short, I respect the guy a lot as a bro and for his strength.

He's a funny dude all things considered if you remove his inferiority complex towards Kakashi.

*Thud* *Thud*

As I was throwing the shuriken they felt way easier to land as they didn't have only a single sharp point. Plus its size then it makes life way easier.

"Nice, five out of ten," I murmur to myself satisfied with this for now. Getting a head start and learning everything I can in the academy will be crucial for my future.

So getting the basics done and moving into Genin-level stuff is a given. I mean Minato fvcking Namikaze learned the Flying Thunder god at the age of 14 for god's sake. With the perfection of the base Rasengan a few years later in addition.

(A/N: Minato used the FTG to teleport himself, Jiraya and two other Jounin to safety against two-tailed beast bombs. According to the timeline, it would be the second great shinobi war making him around 11-14 but I'm saying 14 to be safe. This occurred in the new one-shot manga about Minato so it's canon.)

I'm not saying this is my goal as that's not physically possible. Of course, I don't have an Uzumaki hottie to teach me fuinjutsu so it's depressing.

My strength just needs to improve over time as there's no rush for my academy years. The rest of the initial wars are past us and time is my fortune for now.

Walking to the stumps with my aching arm. I suddenly feel a gust of wind next to me.

"Yo, I'm back!" Asuma shouts with a wide grin. After taking all the fallen shuriken, I turn around wondering where he went.

"Where did you go? I thought you were finishing up your trench knife skills?" I ask.

Asuma who heard this just chuckled a little at my words and held out his hand. Looking down at his hands I could see a single scroll there which looked similar to the ones I've got at home.

"As you know I'm gonna be heading out tomorrow so I got you a gift. You've been uselessly slashing a spear so I got you a spear style from the Konoha library.

Usually with my Chunin rank, I can borrow up to a few scrolls at a time, but because I'll be gone for a few years. My thought process was to get you something. Spears aren't used too often as storing them in a seal is too expensive and inconvenient, so this style was given pretty easily." Asuma says with a warm smile. Hearing this was unknown to me but visible to the guy in front.

A few tears started to stream down my face and my sensei just got a worried look. It wasn't anything crazy like full-on emotional.

But more like feeling touched by the gesture.

'I guess he has been my only friend in these lonely months I've been transmigrated to Konoha.' I thought to myself remembering all the chats we've had. I've been dangerously getting close to Asuma knowing how this world works. While Asuma might be a named character, I don't expect every one of them to act like in the anime.

'I'll need to get someone I could fully trust. Maybe a child like me and we could bond.' I thought to myself.

Would it be grooming?

It's not like I'm raising them to do indecent things with me anyways but manipulate them somewhat. So it's fvcked up still, but not as much as the former thought.

To be fair it's not the worst thing that could happen in the Naruto world. Every village's population is being constantly manipulated so it's not the worst thing.

"Hey, do you not like it? I won't make you pay if you damage the scroll… Maybe."

Realising that I was unconsciously tearing up a bit I started to laugh out loud. This in turn made Asuma fall down in a comedic way completely confused.

Taking the scroll from his hands I opened the scroll to see its contents.

[Spear Technique: Nimble Snake Style]

Description: This style includes using fast movements by being light on your feet and using unorthodox stabs. These stabs/slashes usually are placed on the vital spots of the target. The style is footwork extensive while incorporating custom "impossible" stabs and slashes by being flexible.

Note: This originated from the kage of Kusagakure as a peace treaty because they rebelled in the second great shinobi war.

'Fighting styles and katas don't have a rank.' I thought to myself seeing the description. But it does make sense though as any fighting style is deadly depending on the user.

It's just that some fighting styles have requirements like this one with flexibility and footwork.

"Thank you, Asuma!"

"It's alright, just do well in the academy. Maybe we could do some missions in the future. Plus I'll miss your food." He responds with a chuckle. Hearing his last words I realised that I could make him my new desert.

I already took the ingredients I bought a little bit ago to make my first dessert. It's a dish that I personally am addicted to so when the ingredients were in season and buyable in Konoha through shipping.

I had to snag the stuff.

"Speaking of food I'm making a dessert. Wanna try it before you leave?"

Asuma who heard this didn't decline and after packing up my stuff, we headed back to my place. Today was a Sunday so my restaurant was closed. Taking a paper from my pocket, I looked at the schedule that was on it.

Now first this timeline was made knowing the academy schedule told to me by Asuma. Most of my customers are people after that period, so I'm only losing a couple tens of customers.

The number of people who visit is 200-300 with it increasing gradually due to the popularity of my food.

Especially the fries.

I'm forced to pre-make at least ten orders to not fall behind most of the orders. Considering that there are only two menu options, it wasn't too hard to keep up as I just had to make the same foods constantly.

This obviously increased the expected total money I'll get by the end of the year.

*Creak*

"Just take a seat, I'll get the dessert in a bit."

Asuma taking a seat just silently sits there with an eager look. Seeing this I went into the kitchen and found three boxes that were delivered a bit ago.

*Pop*

Opening up the boxes a giddy feeling went through my body as I saw the contents.

Mango, Coconut Milk and a special type of rice.

"Here's my masterpiece!" I proudly say walking out of the kitchen.

"This better be good. I heard some plate crashing or something behind their doors." Asuma says rubbing his hands together. Making my way to his table I put the finished product in front of him with a smirk.

"Here's your order sir, one sticky rice with mango!" I announce doing a frantic bow. Asuma seeing this just claps while he salivates at the sight of the food.

Taking a fork he immediately dug into the food without any remorse. All sorts of perfectly sized spoons full were executed as a perfect amount of rice and mango were being consumed.

"Holy sh-, this is amazing. Shin this is your best one yet! I'm definitely getting some more tommorow" Asuma shouts with tears down his eyes. "Wait I'm leaving tommorow…"

Hearing this I just laugh at the guy knowing he won't be able to eat this stuff for years. The sticky rice was hot while the mango in contrast was cold as I put it in the fridge while I cooked.

Unfortunately there was no icecream I could potentially add. There was none from what I understood being sold outside of their shops in Konoha.

Asuma was able to finish the food and record time and after a while soon made his goodbyes.

"Goodbye Shin, next time you meet me I'll be on the bingo books." He said pointing to himself with a smug look. Nodding at his words, I watch as he disappears from my view my.

'It's time for my chakra exercises.' I thought looking at the clock. Packing the kitchen up and preserving my new ingredients in the fridge, my body dragged itself home.

Being alone didn't bother me too much as I'm used to it by now. My social contact was usually Asuma, Kurenai and Guy. Other than that I only trained.

I still need to make considerable progress before I ooograduate after all.

Strangely enough I haven't seen Otori who was a family friend in a long time. Must be a mission of some sort he's on.

*Creak*

Jumping onto my bed with a sigh, I grabbed a scroll. Speaking of progress my chakra control has changed in skill drastically from before.

My skill in focusing my chakra has granted me the ability to manoeuvre it a little. This is how I assume academy kids practised the leaf exercise after getting to this mastery.

"Let's see." I murmur opening the academy scroll.

(~~~~)

[Academy Body Enhancment]

When you're able to move your chakra decently well, you can redirect it to your separate body parts. This will enhance that certain body part by a decent amount but not to a big extent. The skill can also be used to target a move the chakra to a spot in the body to tank a hit or heal faster. It's most commonly used to move around like jumping between tree branches.

Note: this doesn't count as a jutsu as its something the body can naturally do even when your not a trained shinobi. It's just something you can improve with more chakra and controlling where it goes faster.

Getting into a cross legged position on my bed, I closed my eyes and started to focus on the chakra I got.

'Gotcha!'

Feeling the chakra at my solar plexus I started to move it gradually towards my forehead. This was mostly practise for the leaf exercise to get a head start.

As the chakra was moving around, a small line started to funnel towards my head. Feeling the chakra head up to my forehead it took a few seconds before it got there.

'Now hold.' I thought to myself. Keeping the sensation of my chakra constantly flowing, after 30 seconds my focus snapped and I opened my eyes.

The chakra I moved immediately went back to the middle of my body and rejoined my blob of reserves.

"Damn that's longer than before." I murmur feeling extremely tired.

I could feel that my chakra blob was at least half the size as it was before. This was because the chakra used was mostly expelled from my body after use.

"Well it's time for sleep, at least I don't need to wait."

Tucking myself in the bed sheets. My vision started to blur as my eyes closed.
