Chapter 5: Everything falls apart 2

While Sasuke was training by himself at the training ground, Itachi was summoned by Danzo at the Root's base.

While Itachi was running for the root's base in his anbu attire, he looked at the direction of his promised training ground to Sasuke and said in a low voice,

"Sorry, Sasuke. Big brother can't help you train anymore."

< POV Itachi >

After I reached the root base, in front of Danzo, I kneeled. I know why he called me, but I still want him to tell me about the mission for the final time. It's hard for me but I have no other choice.

Finally, Lord Danzo said to me,

"Itachi. I know you are sad, but it can't be helped. The Uchiha clan is not loyal to the village and wants to rebel. So, we had to take this step."

'I already know. I know to save the honor of my clan and the promise I made with Shisui, I have to take the blame but it still hurts.'

I replied to Lord Danzo that I understand after that I left from the roots base.

'I know what I am going to do tonight is a heinous crime that can't be forgiven but I still have to make one last bargain with the Hokage, at least I have to make sure Sasuke is safe.'

After some time, I went to the Hokage office and knelt in front of the Third Hokage. He said while making a pained face,

"Itachi, are you sure you want to do this?"

"I am sure Hokage sama. To save the honor of the Uchiha, I have to do this. But Hokage sama I hope you can spare my little brother Sasuke. He's a kind boy unlike other Uchiha."

"You have my words Itachi, I will look after him."

"Thank you, Hokage sama."

After saying that I went to the valley where I last met with Shisui, this is the place where I promised Shisui to protect the honor of our clan and I know he will be angry at how I am doing things, but I have no other way. If I don't do that Danzo will send others.

At this time, a swirling happened from the side and the masked man who called himself 'Madara' appeared. He came to me and said,

"Fellow Uchiha. We meet again. Are you ready to join the 'Akatsuki'?"

I looked at him for some time and started walking towards the clan compound.

After coming near the clan compound, I said to him,

"Only after this mission is done."

The masked man laughed and said, "I will start then."

After Sasuke came home, while opening the door he shouted,

"Mother. Why is the house so dark?"

Finding no answer Sasuke kept calling and searching for his mother.

He was a little scared as the whole clan compound was empty, no one was responding.

He came in front of his parents' room and opened the door but before he could say anymore word, he saw his parents lying in a pool of blood, lifeless. His eyes started watering by itself, he was scared, his father who he always wants recognition from, his mother who always loves him is dead.

Sasuke held is head, crying, shouting. At this time, Itachi revealed himself from behind his parents with three tomoe Sharingan.

Sasuke saw his brother and cryingly saying to him,

"Brother, someone… someone did to father and mother. Maybe the other clan members too. Who could do this?"

"Oh. My little foolish brother. You still don't understand, do you? It was me who killed all our clan members and father and mother."

After hearing, Sasuke felt like he was out of breath. His heart, his lung felt like squeezing from the inside. It hurts.

"Why? Why? How could you do this? Father, Mother is dead. Are you going to kill me too?"

Sasuke was scared. He was scared by looking at his brothers' eyes. Those eyes are too terrifying.

"Why? Why you ask? It's because of power. I wanted to know how powerful the can actually is and prove that I am the strongest."

"But don't fear, Sasuke. I will not kill you. You are so insignificant that killing you won't prove anything."

Hearing this, Sasuke still felt fear towards Itachi. He started running and shouting,

"I don't want to die. Don't want to die."

Seeing Sasuke running, with a flash Itachi disappeared.

Sasuke was now running on the roads, suddenly Itachi came in front of him, Sasuke halted his footsteps.

Itachi said, "Foolish little brother. If you want revenge come looking for me when you have the same eyes as mine."

After saying this Itachi's eyes became the Mangekyou Sharingan and he cast a genjutsu on Sasuke.

Sasuke held his head in pain, screaming and fainting on the spot.

With this Itachi disappeared. 

[A/N: As I am writing this novel where This Sasuke is slightly Different from the Canon one from the Anime/manga. I am thinking of giving him different Sharingan abilities with the one he had in canon].
