19 Uchiha Clan Meeting! Part-2

AN- Let's clarify some things before more people comment about the same thing.

I felt like if after the nine-tails attack, if the Uchiha a whole ass clan of at least dozens of Jonin were suspected and thrown out of the center of the village, the revolt would have happened a lot quicker considering the Uchiha are too prideful. So even if it isn't true, I made it so that Tobirama moved the Uchiha Clan out of the village central along with the deal of allowing them to form the Uchiha Police force. His logic was that the Uchiha clan is allowed to detain anyone who seems suspicious, and since the suspicious person could be a spy.

Keeping them close to the village's main resources seems like a bad idea, hence in my story at least the Uchiha clan moved before the First World War started. Tobirama didn't do the Isolation or anything he was just suspicious so he made plans to deal with it.

{At Daisuke's house}

Daisuke arrived home straight from the Konoha war meeting, he looked tired and burdened but at least some of his tension had vanished. The issue of Hikaru Uchiha's growing prowess wasn't something he had to deal with now but now he had to worry about how to appropriately include him in the clan's hierarchy.

The position of the head of Konoha Hospital was a delicate one, it was one of the unique things about Konoha as most of the medical skills originated from Konoha. Hashirama was the first shinobi who harnessed chakra for healing but it was Tsunade who developed most of the skills they used by medic nin today.

'Being Tsunade's apprentice means Hikaru will have more say in the village, I at least need to make sure that he isn't against Fugaku at the very least because the animosity that has festered between them could be detrimental.' Daisuke thought as he arrived in the living room.

"Father we are late for the clan meeting," Fugaku greeted.

Daisuke nodded and spoke, "I know... stop antagonizing Hikaru and allow him unrestricted access to the clan library."

Fugaku froze for a moment before he retorted, "But Father..." 

Whatever he wanted to say was stopped by his Father's glare as he swallowed his words and anger.

"Yes Father," Fugaku replied.

Daisuke sighed and looked at the fierce look in Fugaku's eyes, "Alright listen, I have already told you many times to look broader. What was the reason I told you to suppress Hikaru?" Daisuke asked.

"Because his reputation as a genius might challenge my authority later." Fugaku replied, '...and the bastard has been taking to Mikoto lately.'

Fugaku didn't care about Hikaru all that much, he wasn't jealous of his talent as he himself was quite talented. He was just following his father's orders when he stopped him from learning the Shadow Clone Jutsu. What itched him was that every day when Hikaru went to the academy he sat beside Mikoto.

"Tsunade in the meeting today, introduced Hikaru as her apprentice, so he has the backing of not only Hiruzen's student but also of the whole Senju clan if he wants. That means blocking him from access to the Shadow Clone isn't worth it anymore... Plus since he'll be labeled as a medic-nin there is no way he will be able to challenge your position as the chief of the Uchiha police force in the future." Daisuke explained.

Fugaku nodded as he suppressed his emotions behind a mask, his father didn't need to see his jealousy and weakness, if Hikaru wanted to involve himself in his betrothal contract then he had enough backing to take him on.

{At the Naka Shrine}

'Senju clan or not this won't end so easily...' Fugaku thought as he saw Hikaru when they entered the secret room. 

Almost everyone was already there so Daisuke just looked around casually with Sharingan active just to make sure before he moved on to business.

"Since everyone must have heard of the rumors I'll just say most of them must be true, Konoha is not going to start a war but we are going to fortify against any possible actions on against lands," Daisuke spoke.

After gaining all of their undivided attention he continued, "The main responsibility of the Uchiha clan in the initial front was to make sure our borders with Land of Hot Springs and Land of Noodles aren't broken." He looked around the room and continued, "Most of our Jonins will be responsible for holding it in place and I'll follow along to make sure everything happens smoothly."

"Along with that 4 of you will be joining the command units of other battalions and would have command over the genin and chunin Uchiha clansmen that would join that group." Daisuke paused and spoke, "Make sure that you don't overextend and fight against the battlefield commanders your only duty is to safeguard the interest of the Uchiha clan by making sure our clansmen are not left behind for unnecessary suicide missions."

"I'll start naming so one by one come forward..." Daisuke spoke, "Koichi Uchiha, you will be joining Danzo Shimura and the Yamanaka, Nara, and Akachimichi clan in defending the border along the Land of Grass."

Koichi stopped leaning against the wall like Hikaru and he walked forward and stood in front of Daisuke, they shared a nod and then Daisuke continued, "Yōsuke Uchiha, you'll be joining Sakumo Hatake and the Aburame clan in defending against the Land of River, mainly focused on battling Suna. Though the chances of them breaching through there are quite low due to the terrain."

"Yūna Uchiha, you will join Hikaru Uchiha in defending against Suna and possibly Iwa in the Land of Rain. Tsunade Senju asked for her apprentice Hikaru to join her command team, and although no one denies Hikaru's genius in combat standards, Yūna would follow along in case the members of the clan needed a second opinion." Daisuke spoke.

Hikaru froze for a moment when his name was called, he and Tsunade hadn't talked anything about him being her apprentice so he was surprised she addressed him as such. He looked at Daisuke and slowly walked forward, he was the shortest one among the members present here though he was quite tall by the standard of his clansmen.

He stood in front of Daisuke and received a firm nod of encouragement from him which left him more puzzled. Daisuke seemingly didn't see the tension and continued, "Remember your assignments, tomorrow morning an ANBU will arrive with the information on everyone's platoons, and the list will be ready by tomorrow afternoon. We would most likely set off to our borders in the morning the next day..."

"After getting your assignments tomorrow the clan library will be open till midnight, look at the location where you are stationed and then learn jutsu according to your battalions..." Daisuke stopped after he finished the assignments.

"If anyone has any questions or doubts ask them now..." Daisuke spoke, he was hoping for a few of the chunins to ask about Hikaru's placement as a member of the command team but no one said anything.

'The situation was more serious than I expected, most of them have begun to take his unreasonable achievements for granted...' Daisuke stared at Hikaru for a moment before he looked away.

He motioned for Yūna to meet him afterward, he had a small side mission for her...
