After having shed enough tears of joy and wonder, Murakami hurriedly went down to the relative department that recorded the author's details, giving orders like the world was about to end soon.

At Third Training Ground,

"Not much progress, change in chakra nature really difficult to master!"

Naoki slumped on the ground, muttering while scratching his hair, he tried the whole day but no progress.

His chakra attributes were Thunder and Fire, also the reason why Danzo had sent jutsu relative to them.

But despite trying the whole day, he unable to change a slight bit of his chakra into lightning, really difficult.

"The reason behind the difference in the chakra amount and talent, the research on the root reason behind this needs to be started as soon as possible!"

The difficulty in mastering the ninjutsu once again reminded Naoki about the need of a lab to start his research as soon as possible.

He does know through the plot that those who are direct descendants of sage of six paths Otsutsuki Hagoromo, those who have one way or another inherited his blood, have huge chakra and incredible talent due to that.

But why does that blood provides such a huge boost in chakra abilities, how is it different from normal blood, and is it possible to increase the chakra amount through other ways.

All these and some other questions Naoki had needed to be answered, he already has the necessary theory to start the research, the only thing lacking funds.

Today's training came to an end as well, Naoki walking home.

"Well~Well, as expected of a peak fiction, the reply came even faster then I expected!"

In his room, Naoki was looking at the letter in his hands that he picked from the mailbox, his story had passed the review and would be ready to publish after signing the contract.

Naoki who although knew he would never fail the review, still underestimated the charm of One Piece in this world, the creativity way more shocking to the people of this world then his previous life.

He had just submitted the first volume and the editor seemed so anxious to sign him, later story would only refresh everyone's imagination more and more.

Naoki didn't tell his family yet about this, after it will be published all across the land of fire, they'll eventually know and there reaction will be a good show for him.

"I didn't expect the author of the divine story to be a shinobi as well especially at such a tender age"

"Haha!! you really make us ordinary people look ashamed, Naoki-kun!"

Said Murakami laughing while welcoming Naoki inside the VIP guest room, gesturing to sit at the sofa, a lot of snacks along with steaming tea placed on the table before the sofa.

"You're embarrassing me Murakami-San, being honest most shinobi would like to swap there position with you"

"After all a stable income and danger free life, few would refuse it!"

Responded Naoki politely while sitting on the sofa, giving Murakami a smile at the same moment.

"Well~ everything naturally has it's pro's and con's, though there are few like you who excel in multiple categories at the same time, a genius worth of praise!"

Said Murakami humbly, taking a seat on the sofa opposite to Naoki.

Haha!

To his words, Naoki just smiled this time, picking the cup of tea before him and taking a sip.

"What do you think Naoki-Kun? Not a bad offer right?"

The welcome formalities were done, both of them getting to business as after a little discussion, Murakami brought a contract with the official seal of fire publishers company stamped on it.

Taking the contract from him, Naoki gave the two page long contract a thorough look, Murakami patiently waiting for him to finish reading.

"I'm fine with 3000 ryo salary per page, though 5% profit of the total sales in a month, it's too less!"

Said Naoki with a calm face, handing the contract back to Murakami, the equipments he needed to buy for his lab would cost a fortune, just the start up capital needed was at least 10 million.

With just 5% it would take a couple of months for him to save the required amount, but he didn't have patience to wait that much.

He wanted to start his research as quickly as possible, and get answers to all the questions he had.

"Then...how much would you prefer?"

Seeing Naoki not satisfied, Murakami was taken by surprise, to him even if Naoki was a genin, the amount offered to him already surpassed doing quite a few S-Rank tasks, he should be fine with it.

But the value of One Piece made Murakami listen first how much Naoki wanted.

"A Quarter!"

Said Naoki calmly while taking another sip of the tea, Murakami before him seemed to have gone still.
