"So what do you think?" Hiroshi asked. Both he and Ren were sprawled on the ground, it was quite comfortable and for the first time in a while Hiroshi was relaxed, maybe he shouldn't be, he was knackered after continuous spars and if Tora decided to attack him at this moment, then there was no chance for him to escape or do anything.
"Where the fuck did you learn this, it's annoying to deal with," Hiroshi could hear the irritation in Ren's voice, through the dozen spars, today Ren failed to gain an advantage in any of them.
"Tu, tu-ru-ru-ru-ru, Tu-tu-ru-ru-ru-ru-ru-ru-ru, ah, Ru, ru-ru-ru-ru-ru-ru, Ru-ru-ru-ru-ru-ru-ru-ru-ru, ah" Hiroshi hummed happily, he has forgotten whatever songs that he remembered from his past life, but sometimes the melodies come back to him.
"Ow... what got into you?" Hiroshi rubbed his shoulders and continued, "I created it, you like it, it's just some basic moves and it is totally bastardized from the academy style, there are some loopholes and weaknesses when fighting against a bladed weapon but I'll fix it soon enough."

Hiroshi continued humming the fleeting melody that he remembered today, he was in a good mood, now if only he could get some decent upgrades from the simulation then everything would be better.
"I'll trade you that for my new fire jutsu," Ren finally spoke, Hiroshi could hear the resignation in Ren's voice. He knew the trade wasn't in his favour and Hiroshi had no reason to accept it, but he did not have anything else to trade with, the only three jutsu he knew besides the unlearned Fire jutsu were the common jutsu that anyone could get from Konoha. Although Horishi would have to deal with a lot of bureaucratic trouble, he could get them the only way the Great Fireball jutsu would be a half-decent deal would be if Hiroshi's chakra nature turned out to be something else, in that way he could get a C-rank scroll of another element.
'If only I had the luxury to deny that, I can't even learn that since I would need to increase my Comprehension to at least C- for that...'
"That and the three Earth jutsu you know..." Hiroshi replied as he started to stand up, he was aware of the stare he was getting from Ren but he just can't isolate the only trustworthy person he knew. Yeah, it was a sad thought.
"I'll write down the Kata's in a scroll later today, I'll give it to you when that's done, make a copy of the fire jutsu yeah?" Hiroshi asked.
"Yeah... your patrol time's almost here, see you later?" Ren asked, his face once again going back to the expressionless facade. Hiroshi wanted to crack a smile at his only friend's Yandere moment but he let it go as he jumped towards the Kōchiyo Village.

Hiroshi watched the timer tickle down, yesterday wasn't crazy productive but he still got his taijutsu style to level up, looking at its effectiveness increasing in increments of 5, and since most beginner skills have a skill cap of 5, the taijutsu style would, in the end, reduce the effectiveness of someone else's taijutsu by a whole 40%.
Still, his main focus was still on the 4th simulation opportunity, it has been 5 days since the last simulation, and after the first one, the timer was set to 1 day while after the second simulation, the timer was at 2 days. If the timer kept increasing at the same exponential rate then Hiroshi guessed that he would have a fixed number of simulations before the 4th great shinobi war, and that was the case if he could squeeze out a lot of early value from the next couple of simulations to survive.
'Here we go, I don't even know what kind of trait I want, something that would help me survive would probably be the best, the higher-rated traits just mess up the simulation.'

The trait was a cheat in Hiroshi's opinion, at least until he reaches an A- in physique, he would have a stat cap limit a lot higher than what he would have to spend simulation points to get, like just having a B+ rated Physique meant that instead of his stat cap of a top-Jounin, it would be low-Kage level.

You nodded in understanding as you share a look with Ren, a hint of suspicion could be seen in his eyes.]

AN: We late but we here, the story is going to pick up pace as chunin exams loom closer and closer, who can guess the first among the main cast that Hiroshi would have an interaction with... barring Hiruzen of course!!!
