3rd Simulation - Part 2

{Somewhere in the Land of Fire}

{10:07 AM, 3 March 78 Yrs}

[Day 1: From a young age you have always believed that your mind is your sharpest weapon, in front of the supremacy of the bloodlines present in the elemental nations, you firmly believe that if your understanding and control of chakra are enough then you would never lose to anyone else. Lately, you feel your understanding of chakra deepen and as you feel chakra move to your soles to enhance your grip better before you took off, a new way to apply the same principle to your fighting style emerges in your mind. Unfortunately, your comprehension of Chakra was still too low to completely understand this new skill and you are only left with a preliminary idea of combining the {Tree Walking} and {Intermediate Academy Taijutsu} to gain a new skill, {Unnamed Taijutsu Style.}]

'What... wait what? Just like that....'

Hiroshi paused for a noticeable second as he re-read the passage once again but a voice broke his attention from the screen in front of him. It was weird seeing the translucent screen superimposed on Tora's face as the team leader spoke, "You okay? We can take a break if you want we have been tree-hopping for a long time." Tora spoke and then motioned with his hands to take a break.

"Ren, take the first shift, I'll look around and see if I can find something to eat," Tora instructed before he disappeared into the forest. Almost everyone plopped themselves on one tree or another, Hiroshi was a little too focused on the countdown so he forgot it was almost time for a break, maybe his delay gave a message that he was tired so Tora decided to take a break.

Hiroshi also plopped on the tree but his focus immediately shifted back to the log which hasn't stopped progressing in this brief period.

[Day 3: After 4 days of travel you arrive at Kōchiyo Village and report to the stationed Chunin. Your Chunin squad leader goes to deal with the handover procedures while you focus on learning and getting proficient in the new Taijutsu style idea by sparring against Ren. By coating your palms and legs with chakra you try to stick to your opponents and use their bodies as leverage to continue your attack. Your understanding of your new taijutsu style deepens as the {Unnamed Taijutsu Style} levels up.]

'Wait wait hold up hold, try water walking water walking...' Hiroshi anxiously tried to change the direction of the simulation, he had to take advantage of the perk gained during the simulation, there was no point in increasing the level of the new skill because when he extracts the skill later he would get level one skills, so it was better to get more skills rather than wasting time.

[Day 4: While training to increase your chakra control by {Water walking}. A new idea emerges in your mind, and you focus on the process as your chakra binds the water molecules together in order to create a stable platform for you to stand on. You try to apply the same principle to the molecules in the air in order to try and walk on air but after a full day of trying you give up realizing your understanding of Chakra was too low to figure this out.]

'Comprehension again, I need to get that stat up as soon as possible if I want to get better at Ninjutsu. Besides that, this scientist perk seems to be using more scientific theory from the old world to try and create these new techniques, still, the 100% possibility isn't entirely accurate as the skill upgrade failed for {Water walking}...' Hiroshi thought as the next phase of the simulation started after 3 seconds of pause.

[Day 5: Ren boasted about the awesome new taijutsu style you are using, under the repeated requests of your squadmates you spar with everyone and gain a new understanding of how to use grapple techniques to your advantage. {Unnamed Taijutsu Style} levels up as you feel the gaze of your squad leader on you a lot during the day.]

'No no, I stop wasting time and try to figure some other skills out, this is a gold-level perk...' Hiroshi thought as he concentrated on maybe trying to upgrade the basic three Jutsu's.

[Day 6: Seeing that your understanding of chakra has increased you try to improve on the three basic ninjutsu taught in the academy. Your chakra flows as you flash through the hand seals Tiger → Boar → Ox → Dog for the clone technique, throughout the day you continue to perform the technique again and again before in a splash of inspiration you change the seals to Ram → Boar → Ram → Dog. Your chakra drops by a chunk as an avatar similar to you appears in front of you. You instantly notice the difference as the clone in front of you wasn't just an afterimage but a solid copy, the notification rings alerting you to the newly upgraded skill. Skill {Solid Clone Jutus} created.]

'It worked? but what's a solid clone, it's not an attributed clone nor is it a shadow clone...I don't remember solid clone being a thing?'

[Day 7: You spend the day experimenting with your new skill solid clone, unlike the clone technique, this jutsu is a real construct and has mass, unfortunately, it can't hold chakra and you have no way to control its actions once it was created. It works mainly based on your thoughts when it was created. Like a shadow clone, it pops with one hit but unlike the shadow clone, since you do not share the chakra feedback with it, it has no espionage advantage to it except that it uses a little less chakra. Through your experiments, your understanding of the {Solid Clone Jutus} increase and it levels up.]

'...so basically a more effective decoy than the Clone technique? I should not expect much from an E-rank technique upgrade anyway, but maybe the transformation technique upgrade would help, I remember Tsunade was able to constantly use this technique and there was another girl who was successfully able to maintain the image of a bucktoothed man in the anime.'

[Day 8: Disregarding the newly created technique, for now, you instead focus on upgrading the transformation technique. This time you try to focus on improving the long-term stability of the transformation technique. One of the most effective techniques among the basic three, the transformation technique allows you to take the shape of any object, even an inanimate one. The drawback of the technique is the constant strain on the chakra and the fact that the technique dispels in one hit. It took you the whole day to break down the original technique into seals before the system finally helped and the transformation technique upgrades to {Blood-Bone Transformation Technique}. The {Blood-Bone Transformation Technique} allows you to change your body shape and facial features to some extent. Through this technique, you can even become someone totally unrecognisable but you notice every time you use this technique your physique drops by one.]

'Wait... become someone unrecognisable? That means I can change my appearance and escape from the team in the simulation to become a rouge nin. This would allow me to extend the duration of the simulation and maybe try to gain more advantage of this golden perk while also maybe getting a better final evaluation' Hiroshi's eyes flashed with a hint of excitement as his eyes gleamed at the sudden opportunity.

AN: See ya tomorrow! Now before people get more confused I'll say that the golden skill will only appear 1 time in every 20 simulations to not be so overpowered. The Probability of getting a Purple is 1/10 while for blue is 1/3.
