Devil Fruit
Finding himself in the same white space of the system lottery. With the excitement of the moment, he clicked on the center of the roulette in front of him.
To his surprise, all the prizes seemed identical: brown bags with a simple label that read "gift."
"It can't be," he muttered. "Has the system finally realized that I already have too many things?"
Intrigued and a bit worried, he said aloud, "System, what do these bags contain?"
To his amazement, a notification appeared in front of him almost instantly:
[Anything is possible with these bags. If you're lucky, you might even get Pangu's Axe!]
He was surprised that the system answered him. In ten years with the system, he had rarely received such direct responses.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he reminded himself. "I'm not expecting anything as grand as Pangu's axe," he said. "Anything useful will be welcome."
He observed the bags carefully, looking for any difference or distinctive mark, but they all seemed identical.
With a resigned shrug, he decided there was no point in trying to guess. "Well, let it be what it has to be," he muttered, and with a decisive movement, he activated the roulette.
The pointer began to spin at a dizzying speed, creating a blur.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the pointer stopped on one of the bags.

Before he could even process what was happening, he found himself back in his room, a brown bag materializing in his hands.
"A bag full of devil fruits?" he muttered. Devil fruits were notoriously unpredictable, and he knew the risks well. "Unless the system has modified them, the rest are simply trash."
Curiosity, however, was stronger than his caution. "Well, let's see what we have here," he decided, sitting on the edge of his bed. He turned the bag over, emptying its contents onto the sheets.
A flash of golden light illuminated the room for an instant, momentarily blinding Chen.
When his eyes adjusted, he saw ten devil fruits, each unique in shape and pattern, scattered on his bed.
Suddenly, one in particular caught his attention, its shape and color unmistakable.
"It can't be," he muttered, leaning closer to examine it better. "Isn't that the one I ate?"
Taking it, feeling its weight and texture. A quick consultation with the system confirmed his suspicions, but also brought disappointment.
"It's ordinary," he sighed, putting the fruit aside. "Well, I guess they can't all be spectacular."
Determined not to be discouraged, he continued examining the other fruits.
"Mushi Mushi: Caterpillar model? And in perfect version?"
"Trash."
He continued his inspection, quickly discarding the Moku Moku due to its side effects. However, his heart skipped a beat when he recognized the next one.
"The Magu Magu!" he exclaimed excitedly. "Akainu's fruit... and also in perfect version. With just this one, the whole bag is already worth it."
Chen continued examining the fruits. The Doru Doru brought a smile to his face as he remembered Galdino. However, upon seeing the Inu Inu and the Whisky Whisky, his mood fell.
"A Whisky fruit? Seriously?" he shook his head. "Pass. I don't think the dog look suits my style."
His mood changed drastically when he recognized the next fruit. "The Yami Yami," he muttered. But noticing it wasn't the perfect version, he set it aside with a sigh.
The Hobi Hobi captured his attention for a moment. "Incredibly powerful," he reflected, "but those side effects... no, thanks."
Finally, his eyes fell on the last two fruits: the Hana Hana and the Goro Goro, both in perfect version. A smile spread across his face when he saw the Goro Goro.
"Look at this beauty," he muttered, taking the fruit in his hands. "I've always wanted to try this."
Without thinking twice, Chen took a big bite of the Goro Goro. Immediately, his face contorted in a grimace of disgust.
"Yuck!" he exclaimed, struggling to swallow. "It's horrible! Mental note: if I ever get the perfect Gura Gura, I definitely won't eat it. This taste isn't worth it."
Jumping off the bed, Chen ran to the kitchen, desperate for a glass of water to get rid of the taste.
Once back, he stopped in front of the mirror, observing his reflection with curiosity.
He took a deep breath, concentrating on the new energy he felt flowing through his body. Suddenly, with a blinding flash, his form dissolved into a ball of blue thunder.
"Incredible," Chen thought, his voice resonating strangely in his new electric form. "With my talent, mastering this will be a piece of cake!"
After experimenting a bit more with his new powers, he decided to address the issue of the remaining fruits.
He opened the system interface and asked, "System, is there any way to recycle the other fruits?"
The answer came quickly:
[Affirmative. Recycling function available function available in lower left corner of store interface.]
Frowning, searching through the interface until he found the mentioned option. After several minutes of frustrated searching, he finally located it, barely visible in tiny letters.
"Are you serious?" he growled, exasperated. "Couldn't this font be a little bigger?"
[Notice: System Has Zoom Function.]
"Oh, please!" His patience was at its limit. "And you couldn't have mentioned that before? Don't you have a manual or something? This system is completely incompetent!"
[COMPLAINT REGISTERED. INITIATING SYSTEM UPDATE IN TWO HOURS. DURATION UNKNOWN. DURING UPDATE, LOTTERY AND PURCHASE FUNCTIONS DISABLED. ONLY BACKPACK FUNCTION AVAILABLE.]
[COMPENSATION GRANTED TO HOST FOR INCONVENIENCE: SPECIAL PACKAGE.]
Chen's eyes widened at this. "Wait, wait!" he shouted, waving his hands frantically. "I was just complaining! You don't actually need to update anything. The system is fine as it is, really!"
But no one answered him.
"Damn it," he muttered, hitting the bed. "Why do I always have to open my big mouth?"
With a sigh, he took advantage of the time before the supposed update.
"Well, if I'm going to lose access to most functions, I might as well get some benefit from this," he reasoned.
With trembling fingers, Chen activated the recycling function. After a moment of hesitation, he selected all the fruits except the Magu Magu and the Hana Hana.
The system processed his selection, and a moment later, a notification appeared:
[Recycling Completed. 450,000 Coins added to your account.]
Something broke inside him when he saw this figure. "450,000? Are you serious?" he growled. "I should have kept the damn fruits."
But the die was cast. His goal in doing this was to unlock the Shikai in Ryūjin Jakka. Although the result wasn't what he expected, he still had the plan.
Adding his previous coins, he had a total of 600,000 and since he was in the store, his gaze stopped on a particular item: the Sage Mode practice method.
"100,000 coins," he muttered, weighing the decision. "It's a fortune, but... it might be worth it."
With a last moment of doubt, he made the purchase. Receiving the notification:
[Congratulations! 🎉 🎉 You have obtained the Sage Mode practice method]
Chen had a satisfied smile. He knew that Sage Mode was incredibly valuable, more powerful than most kekkei genkai in the Naruto world. It wasn't for nothing that Hashirama had been able to defeat Madara thanks to this.
