Chapter 3.

RIRIMA POV.

I don't know how much time had passed since I last had control over my body... The need to sleep was just so overwhelming, I slept like a baby for what felt like months. But when I opened my eyes, I was surprised to see that I was in a wooden room with two windows covered by curtains that blocked the rising sun and the increase of light.

My eyes darted around the room trying to figure out where I am, but thats when I noticed that there was another bed on the other side of the room, and in it was a child with yellow hair knocked out, drooling as he took in deep breaths of air along with letting out a snore or two every once in a while.

The room wasn't as modern as I remembered my world to be, which prompted me to try and remember just what happened, and thats when it happened... An influx of information regarding my gifts and just what happened to me, rushed around my brain.

"Urgh!" A grunt escaped my lips as I clutched my head in pain, my legs bent at the knees causing the blanket I was under to shoot up and uncover my feet. The cold air in the room sent a shiver down my spine, making me uncomfortable.

"Mmmrg! A few more minutes...!" I peeked open one eye to gaze at the boy, and saw that he hadflipped over in his bed, and I couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the boy's stupid posture, even though all of this pain I was still experiencing was still acting.

The pain soon subsided and a sigh of relief escaped my lips. I relaxed lazily on my bed as my gaze stayed closed for a couple minutes, I was planning on going back to sleep, but well... A young woman with soft features and emerald green eyes opened the door loudly, clearly not caring about acting careful around me and the boy in my room.

I watched from underneath my blanket as the young womans gaze held that of hatred and disgust as she looked at the yellow haired boy. Once her gaze moved over to me, the look in her eye softened a bit, but still held a bit of anger. The previous hatred nowhere to be seen.

'Just what kind of troublesome child was I paired up with?' I thought inwardly, a wry smile hidden along with my form under the blanket.

The young woman then started in my direction, her footsteps hard but light at the same time, as if she was trying to produce just enough noise to wake the boy across the room.

"It's time to wake up, Ririma. Come on, breakfast is almost ready." She said in a soft voice as she shook me. I acted as if I was just suddenly awoken from a deep sleep, slowly sitting up and rubbing my eyes with a stretch and yawn.

"Hmm? Where am I? What happened?" I questioned, fake worry lacing my voice. The woman smiled softly as she rubbed my head full of white hair.

"You don't remember where you came from? How about your parents? Do you remember them? Maybe siblings or something?" She questioned, her gaze softening more as well as gaining a hint of pity.

It was annoying getting looked at with such a look, but it was something I would have to deal with until I get older and cement my strength within the people's eyes.

Shaking my head, I slowly got out of bed with a stretch, leaving the woman to sit on the bed with the same pitying eyes. I glanced over toward the yellow haired boy and felt curious. Looking back towards the woman and locking eyes with her, I asked-

"Hey, ummm… Ma'am? Who's that?" The woman followed my pointed finger and once her eyes landed on the boy, the previous hatred and disgust flared up once more, before she let out a huff.

"Don't mind him! Also, call me Sister Yamasa." She stated, standing up with a small smile.

"Come on, the others in the orphanage are pretty excited to meet you." She added, guiding me out of the room, leaving the yellowed haired, whiskered boy alone. Not that he noticed, he was still passed out, completely lost in the dream world.

The orphanage as she had stated earlier, was quite big. It wasn't anything special; no fancy lightings or designs on the walls or floors. While we walked around, I got some glimpses of the outside world the orphanage resided in, and I noticed it quite rural… Really rural.

It was like humanity had been reset, or I had been sent back in time. I didn't mind it, all that much to be honest… I knew why the world was slowly progressing and it was because of the chakra that everyone seems to be able to wield to an extent.

Sister Yamasa has significantly more chakra than the other children in the orphanage, but it doesn't seem to be supporting her like mine or the other inhabitants of my old world.

'Only thing now is to see just how strong I am compared to the others… With these gifts, surely, I'm way ahead of them… Hopefully.'

A/N!

So, I'm moving the story along slowly, and I know that. I hope you don't mind, but I have a question.

Time skip to academy arc, which is about… A couple months of training and lifestyle that I could go through. Or, I write out his child hood life within the orphanage as well as him making friends with the others.

ALSO! Suggest some OCULAR abilities for the Jogan. Go somewhat crazy with it since the Jogan's power hasn't been shown, but from what I know; it's the eye of the 'God Otsutsuki.'
