Future Plans

Waking up in the hospital a few hours later 'Ugh Ahri-chan what happened and how long have I been out?' 'It has been a few hours since you passed out in the forest, after you killed all of your attackers you tried to attack the old man and his group so I cut off the chakra that I was feeding you and since you had basically none you passed out due to chakra exhaustion.'

'Where is Gar-kun then? Is he safe?' 'Don't worry he is fine and in the next room. We also have some anbu watching us as protection and one of them you will recognize it's the cat or mittens as you call her.' Ahri said laughing at the nickname Naruko gave the cat anbu.

Shortly after Hiruzen came into her room and seeing that she was awake couldn't help but smile glad that she seemed to be okay now. "Naruko, how do you feel any discomfort anywhere, especially that wound on your chest?" He asks as he sits down on the chair in the room waiting to hear her answer. "Don't worry old man I'll be fine in a few hours you know I have a high regeneration so something like this won't keep me down for long…. Did Gar-kun tell you who attacked us?"

Sighing out loud "Of course he told me that it was Danzo who attacked you with his root anbu and I have handled him. His root has been officially disbanded and was told to return all of his anbu into the normal forces of the village."

"THAT'S IT, THAT FUCKER ATTACK ME AND GAR-KUN AND TRIED TO CAPTURE US IN THE VILLAGE. I DEMAND YOU DO MORE THAN THAT OLD MAN!!!!" Naruko yelled out furious, that is all that Hiruzen did considering what happened to them. "Naruko, he is an elder of the village and there is only so much that I can do to him, I'm sorry." He said while bowing his head slightly.

'Kit calm down, you know that this old man can't do shit in his own village so don't expect more from him. He is basically a figurehead at this point, but don't worry we will get our revenge we just need to be stronger is all then we can wipe out Danzo and his little helpers. We just need to be the strongest then we can do whatever we want okay.' Ahri said trying to calm Naruko down from getting anymore pissed and unleashing some of her chakra by mistake due to her anger.

Calming herself 'I understand Ahri-chan I'm just so angry right now since I thought that I would at least be protected in the village but what you say is right. We can only rely on ourselves instead of others, we will have to step up our training then if we don't want a repeat of what happened today.'

After staring at the old man for a little longer Naruko finally spoke up "I'm not going to the academy anymore, since you can't guarantee my safety in the village I'll just stay in my compound and train there with Gaara till the graduation test." She said while glaring into Hiruzen's eyes, daring him to say no to her right now. Their little staring contest went on for a few minutes making the atmosphere incredibly tense till Hiruzen gave in. "Fine I'll allow it, I hope that this can earn some kind of forgiveness from you and Gaara."

"It's a step in the right direction old man." she said 'Fuck you old man I'm not forgiving you for this anytime soon.' thought while having a smile on her face. Standing up from the chair "I'll inform that academy for you two just get some rest while you're here and then head home I'll check in with you two from time to time okay." Hiruzen then left for his office to deal with whatever paperwork that has been piling up.

After Gaara and Naruko got home from the hospital they sat down at the living room to have a small chat about their future plans. "Gar-kun as I said before we are done with the academy. We were not learning anything there anyways we just went because it was required but because of this incident I was able to get out of it so at least something good came from this. That means we are increasing our training, we have 4 years till graduation test when we reach 12. Right now I'd say we are low chunin in overall strength give or take unless we use our tailed beast chakra so I want us to be at least high jounin by the time the test comes." Naruko explained

"That's fine with me big sis, I'll do whatever you want. This attack showed me some of my major weaknesses that I need to work on and I plan to in the next four years. Are we still going to go to the forest of death?"

"Not for a while at least and when we do go we will bring Anko with us since she knows the forest so well. Also in our last year I plan on making a trip to Uzushiogakure in wave country to see if I can find anything left behind there. My mother mentioned that there were some hidden vaults there that no one could open unless they were of Uzumaki blood so we might find some powerful items or scrolls there."

"For now let's eat something and sleep then tomorrow we can train ourselves and with the help of the shadow clones we can learn many things at the same time. Time, it is the only thing that we need right now then we can do whatever we want when we are strong enough." Naruko said while Gaara nodded along.

Elsewhere back with Danzo in his hidden root anbu base underground "Damn that Hiruzen and foolishness, he should just give me those two and I can turn them into the perfect weapons for the village then we can rule all of the ninja villages. But instead he makes me disband my root, well he is a bigger fool than I thought if he thinks I'm going to just hand over my tools like that. I'll just have to be more careful as to not get caught is all." Danzo then snaps his finger and a root anbu shows up kneeling on the ground.

"Your order Danzo-sama?" he says while with his head facing the floor. "Keep an eye on those two and let me know what they are doing. We will wait for a month and then we will try again if the opportunity presents itself." Danzo says 'I'll have you nine tails and one tails, it is enviable that you will be under my control.'
