"The right question  should be, what exactly do you and your entire family owe me?" He breathed right at her face, grabbing her jaw in his palm to keep her eyes on him.  He had been keeping watch on her for a while, but now he's come to claim what rightfully belongs to him. Another daughter of the Singhs! This was a means to an end, and Narika would be the compensation for what they had done to him. "We owe you nothing, I have no idea what you are talking  about, let me go!" She cried. "Shh sweetheart, it's okay. " He cooed, patting her hair while giving her those creepy looks of his, that scared the hell out of her. "Let me go!''She shouted, but it was too late for her to see that he was not here to joke with either her or her family. He grabbed her  hair, and pushed her up against the wall of her room, "I will be coming for you soon, and when i come. No one will stand in my way of getting what i want…not including you princess!" "I pray your soul rots in the deepest part of hell where you came  from, I detest you!"She yelled. "The feeling is mutual, I hate and at the same time feel things for you, that i am sure don't make any sense to me." Adrik complained, before covering the space between them. "What have you done to me, Narika?" Chapter Eleven: I Want You To Seduce Vanessa Ivanov.

~Flashback~

"Polina, you need to come back, father is going to find you soon and you know that. There's no way out, let the bastard go if you cherish his life."

Adrian warned, more like threatened her through the phone. Surprisingly, ever since her little escape with Adrik, that had left both families at war heads with each other.

He didn't imagine that she would find it convenient to call him, hence she might have hit her head somewhere to think that he would ever vouch, for her relationship with him.

She clearly knew what he thinks, and how he sees her, and telling her about his feelings was no way a brother would treat his sister. But unfortunately, they weren't related, and he would never see her as one either.

She's smart, that he could confess as she was calling him through a burner phone. Hence, living with her asshole of her dad, and experiencing life as a Singh had shaped her into a smart, and intellectual woman, who knew that if she had called with her phone, her dad would have tracked her down.

That was something he didn't want anytime soon, he didn't want his father to find her before him. Atleast, he still some humanity left in him, and that was not to hurt the woman he adores.

Unlike her father, who doesn't really differentiate the sort of punishment, that can be rendered to a woman and a man.

" I can't come back Adrian, I don't want to" Polina refused, a stubborn flea like her won't see the signs before the storm that would eventually come.

Adrik's family wasn't taking this shit lightly, and Jason Ivanov had gone out of his way to threaten her father. The motherfucker wasn't taking her father's words for it, who confessed about having no idea about their relationship.

"Listen Polina, this is not time to act all childish. You know father, and what he's capable of doing. Adrik would be a goner if he were to find you guys.."

"I won't give up our location, and it's irrelevant of you to ask because we are leaving the country" she confessed unknowingly, letting out the secret plan that she and Adrik had up their sleeves.

But she had hoped that Adrian wouldn't let anyone know of this. She doesn't trust him, but the little she figured out about his obsession with her, made her know that it would hurt him to see her hurt.

Not that it does give him utmost satisfaction seeing her hurt, but when it had to be done by him. He doesn't mind.

There was a brief silence, as if he was trying to digest what she just said, and before he could even fully understand that, his fist was tightly clenched in anger.

She's leaving!

She's leaving him!

"You can't leave!" He roared back at the phone, and Polina could feel the intensity of his anger. Not that she cared of anyway, she's leaving with Adrik, and nobody can change that.

"Was this his idea?" He added," He talked you into doing this Polina, but you know better.."

"No, this has nothing to do with Adrik. I want it, I'm leaving just like my elder brother did, and nobody would change my mind about it" she confessed.

"Then why did you call me?" He asked, he still didn't understand why she would do that if she was leaving. That would entirely ruin her plans, because there's no way on earth he's going to permit that.

Since she wasn't intent on listening to him, he's afraid he would have to involve theur father, if that is what is going to bring her back.

He couldn't bear to lose her, especially to another man. Their enemy at that! His mind was totally set on one thing, and that is killing Adrik Ivanov the moment he sets his eyes on him.

"Because this is basically the last time you will be hearing from me, I hope your soul rots in hell for the pain you caused me and  relay my message to father. He should stop looking for me" she told him, with all seriousness. There's no changing her mind about this.

"Polina listen to .." Adrian tried talking, but was cut short by the faint voice of Adrik that was calling after her.

Just hearing his voice made him more than annoyed, he could literally see the happiness on his face for successfully taking her away from him.

But no! He hasn't succeeded yet!

"That's him right? Polina stop being blindfolded, and stupid .."

"Relay my message to him, goodbye Adrian". She cut the call, before he could even manage to finish the statement, and that was the last call they both shared before everything came crashing down.

~Flashback over~

How could he forget?

That was basically the last call they both shared, before their father took things in his hands and ruined everything. But that's also his fault, because he was the one who told him everything about their little escape plan.

"She's somewhere more peaceful now son, there's no need of taunting yourself day in about that."

Alex patted his son's shoulder, as he sat down, staring at her picture after paying his  rites to her, and burning incense for her in the temple.

He tightened his fists that were clenched in anger,it took a whole lot in him to not take out the gun lying at the back of his trouser and end his father right here, right now.

He lied to him.

He gave him his reassurance that there wasn't going to be any bloodbath, if he tells him about Polina's plans. Which he eventually did, and that had caused him Polina's life.

"Fix yourself, and meet me outside. We have got more important things to do than sit down here and look sad, that's pathetic!" He hollered, fixing his tie before leaving his son all to himself again.

Even on her memorial, he still didn't act like he's cared one bit for his only daughter. He's sure that he was here, because he was only following tradition, that's just it.

"I will get your revenge, I promise you." He said, lighting up one last incense before leaving the temple, and saw his dad standing outside, with a cigarette in his hands.

"What do you have on the Ivanov's so far?" He asked out of the blues, when he's the one who had called him back home because he had done information on them.

"It's a tight end father, they are more cautious than ever since they know we are on their tail." He said, standing beside his dad.

Alex Singh didn't say anything further, but grinned while talking his cigarette before he threw it to the ground, and crumbled it with his feets but not without laying ill profanities at his enemies.

He had no respect for the place he stood, yet he had been smoking. Adrian waved those thoughts aside and kept his gaze on him, waiting for him to speak up.

"I didn't knew the Ivanov's were quite traditionalist, considering the fact that they had relations with Russia" Alex finally speak up, attracting his son's attention to his words.

" I don't know what you are trying to get at.."

Alex smirked, before turning to face his son. He placed his hands on his shoulder,"it's quite simple, our spy inside told me that  Marilyn has being keeping Adrik's room clean, and all tied up for a long time"

"That's the same with what you do with Polina's room. What's the difference?" Adrian asked, still confused.

"She's been burning expensive gifts and incense to him, thus making everyone believe that he's still alive after a maid find her arranging his room a week ago "

"I don't see anything wrong in this, but some crazy woman thinking that her son is alive"Adrian laughed.

" He might be, son, Marilyn has been talking to him. And not just that, our spy had it that everyone in the family has no problem with that, they also act like he's alive"

"For some reasons father, this might be some mistakes from our spy. Adrik is dead, this is no movie about the dead coming back alive or something"

"Exactly right?" Alex asked, rubbing his nose. For some reasons, Adrian saw a little bit of fear in his eyes before it died down.

seriously he can't be into that, believing that Adrik might be back from the dead or something. If that's so, Polina would have came back too and end his life a long time.

"Apart from the fact that she's crazy, I'm not surprised that she might be hoaxing everyone with her stupid belief and all that. Father, we have to go" Adrian told him, when the weather changed drastically. It looked like it was going to rain.

"I have something else for you to do son, just call it a skip in our plan"

"What is that?"He asked with his brow raised, but the smile on his dad's face gave him the information, he needed to know that he won't like what he wants him to do.

"I want you to seduce Vanessa Ivanov."

Votes! keep it coming.
