Chapter 52

Chapter 52:

It didn't take long for Cheon Mujin to kill all of the spies inside the grand hall. Not one of the envoys nor the Cultist made a move as Cheon Mujin and Cheon Yeowun were the only one aware of the spies inside the grand hall.

After every spy in the hall was taken care of, Cheon Mujin took his seat; the seat always reserved for the First Elder.

Wary gazes befell on him. They just saw his pure and unstoppable power, a power that could rival the Alliance Leader of Wulin Alliance. That means right now the Demonic Cult has three supreme masters within their fold: Cheon Yeowun the Lord of the Sky Demon Order, Cheon Mujin the Elder of Disgrace, and Great Guardian Marakyum the Death King.

Now this will upset the delicate balance of power that has been kept by the three factions for hundreds of years. But still, this is a problem that is to be addressed later so, they kept it at the back of their mind for now and proceeded with the signing of the joint alliance.

The Alliance between the two factions has been made. Now the Demon-Justice Alliance is in place, this alliance only lasts until both sides have retaken their stolen territory from the Blade God Six Martial Clan.

Cheon Yeowun POV:

Everything is in shambles. I have thought that in this world I am alone. I thought that no one was here for me except Guard Jang but it seems I'm wrong.

My father whom I've regarded as someone who I would never care for was actually the one of the few who still loves me.

My brother Cheon Mujin and the Great Guardian Marakyum confirmed it to me. But it seems like fate is a fickle thing; she really wants to play with me and push me to the edge.

My father died. And at the hands of those bastards who dared attack my cult. My brother; Cheon Mujin was supposed to protect him but failed. My brother; I know him since the start of the academy, he was strong, I know he's strong.

He has shown me a dozen times just how strong he is, he had the strength to protect our father yet he fails.

I'm disappointed… disappointed at him and quite frankly I'm angry at him. I have finally found some solace in this world and there was only communication that would come between us but the moment I thought I had it, it was taken away from me; the same way fate has taken my mother.

I have never felt so weak and angry since my mother's death.

I know that I shouldn't blame him. But I just can't help it. All he had to do was protect him and it would've been okay.

Enough about ranting. I shouldn't let my emotions dictate what my actions should be. Even though he disappointed me he is still a valuable asset to the cult. And he is crucial for its cause.

The alliance will be my shield, I need to use it to gather information to handle this new group that is emerging from the shadows of the martial world.

Sigh… There's so much to do.

As I was wondering about my thoughts. A sudden wizz of wind passed through my face and a familiar presence of a masked man revealed himself. He seems to be in a hurry by his hurried breath.

"Great Guardian. What seems to be the problem?" I asked him.

"My lord! This is urgent!"

"What is it!"

"The Six Sword!"

"The Six Sword?"

"Yes my lord, they are gone. By the traces they have left it seems they have been kidnapped!"

"WHAT!?" A sudden surge of cold anger was unconsciously released from my body.

How could the Six Swords be gone? They are elites I have trained personally, it would take something much more to kidnap them. And if there is someone who could take them then it's probably this Blade God Six Martial Clan.

Then a sudden pang hit me. What about Mun Ku?

"And Mun Ku?" I asked.

"She's gone too."

This… this is impossible. I can't take it.

"Take me to where it happened." I asked him. I stood up from my throne, cold and unfazed. I used a movement technique to follow the Great Guardian. Hurried and cold panic invaded each and every step I took. My strides are becoming more and more unsettling.

If something ever happens to Mun Ku, I will burn this world to the ground. May it be the cult or the entire martial world, I will not pick any target. I will burn it all without discrimination.

Then when we finally arrived at the place. The Six Swords Manor where my subordinate takes their residence. I was struck by my slowly consuming anger.

There outside the once grand and beautiful abode of the Six Sword was littered with sword marks all over the place. Walls destroyed, floors crushed to the ground, the beautiful garden where I used to laugh with Mun Ku was in shambles, her beautiful flowers; peony, the one she used to admire everyday, destroyed, its petals crushed and in shambles to the ground.

I ran towards her room. With my best speed I can muster, I hoped that maybe, just maybe she managed to hide herself but when I saw her devastated and empty room I was stricken.

A slope of despair was slowly consuming me. I… I can't lose her too… I already lost too much. I can't handle it if they are taken away from me too.

"No… No…. NOOO!" I screamed in with my rawest emotions. I handle my emotions well since my incedent against Cheon Jongsum, I never let mu emotions affect me or my actions at all but now, I was willing to let my anger consume me.

"My Lord!" I heard Great Guardian's muffled voice but I can't figure out what he is saying from all the ringing inside of my head.

"My Lord!!" I heard it once again but it was still incoherent.

Then my instinct scremaed at me and then I saw Great Guardian Marakyum witg his fist extended forward.

"My Lord! Please don't let your emotions ge t the better of you. You still have your subordinates to rescue." Clarity was brought back to me. He's right. This is no time for letting my emotions consume me.

"Thank you Great Guardian." I said to him, Sincerely.

"My Lord. This was left here." Then Great Guardian picked up a small hem of cloth. It seems like it was torn from a robe, it was colored blue and there was a tinge of gold color on it.

"Perhaps we can use a highly skilled martial artist in tracking and use this as out lead." He said but there is something much better than a skilled tracker; and that is my Nano.

"No. I'll track them myself."
