Chapter 39: Blade (1)

After such a steamy session Cheon Mujin got back on his track. One out of Six Clan is now under him, and he doesn't plan to stop there.

One by one he will devour the Six until nothing of their power remains, not even a remnant of it.

And he already has his sight on a new target, And that would be the Blade Clan.

Cheon Yuchan recently got out of the academy from failing the third exam. So he plans to give him a little visit to continue his conquest.

"What a perfect timing." Cheon Mujin chuckled. But before he goes to the Blade Clan he headed straight to his own Clan.

There at the entrance he was greeted by his happy go lucky mother who seems to get more and more positive each day, fortunately for her she doesn't know any of her son's atrocious acts.

"My Mujin!! You're already so grown up!" She exclaimed as she pinched her cheeks.

"I am, mother, so I suggest you stop treating me like a child." Mujin said. Though he was quite cold, he didn't actually mean any harm

"You're my child. Forever and ever so mum won't stop treating you this way." She said with a warm smile.

Cheon Mujin sighed in frustration but he didn't protest.

"Have you eaten yet? I've cooked some fried rice with sweet and sour pork, your favorite. How about we eat some?" Lady So offered.

"Hmmm. That would be nice." Cheon Mujin agreed.

After having a nice meal with his mother, Cheon Mujin headed to his grandfather's office.

"Grandfather. Mujin is here to meet you." Mujin said as he knocked on the door.

"Come in." Responded by Musong Ryu. Mujin walked in and saw his grandfather in his usual place, on the seat managing papers.

"Is it time already?" Asked Musong Ryu.

"Yes. It's time." Mujin replied concisely.

Musing Ryo knows what this is about. This is about him finally giving his Clan Leader position to Cheon Mujin.

Now that Cheon Mujin is the First Elder, he can now inherit the clan. Musong Ryo got up from his seat and grabbed a bottle of whiskey, he poured Cheon Mujin a cup and said.

"Our clan is originally a merchant clan with some bits of martial arts from the outside world. We came from Xinjiang and now we are here at the Cult. Fiercely loyal to its cause."

"It all started with our first clan leader, the founder Musong Jigong. He was a warrior and a merchant donning the alias 'Golden Tael Emerald Serpent Sword'. He was a powerful martial artist that reached the level of Supreme Master and became one of the Five Strongest of his era. With his powerful martial arts he established the Emerald Serpent Clan, but we were not part of the cult still then. It only happened when two out of the Five Strongest Warrior at that time ganged up on him to seize his wealth and settle their personal greigance at our Founder."

"You see due to him being a merchant and a warrior at the same time. He made a lot of enemy, since being a merchant requires you to clash against any rival business he got into a lot of troubles and at the same time being a martial artist he fought a lot of martial warriors. Amongst those enemies is the Azure Bandit Sword and Mountain Blade Warrior, the two of the Five Strongest."

"The Azure Bandit Sword and Mountain Blade Warrior ambushed our clan leader on one of his business expansion campaigns, due to being caught off guard and being outnumbered. Our founder was gravely injured and was on the brink of death but thankfully someone saved him."

"And that is the 12th Lord of Sky Demon Order, Cheon Hujang, the South Dragon Demon, one of the members of the Five Strongest."

"With his fierce martial arts he managed to defeat the two with the help of our founder."

"After receiving help from the Lord, our founder pledged its allegiance to the Cult. But due to time, our clan has regressed. What was once part of the most powerful High-ranking Clan became a Small Clan due to the lost of our martial arts and wealth."

"After his death, our founder left no one to inherit his true sword technique and just left us with the downgraded version of his sword technique that's why our Clan became a low ranking clan."

"Until you came."

"You raised it through the grounds and put it in the position of the Six Clans."

"That's why you deserve to recieve our Clan."

"I'll hold the ceremony next week. I'll ready all the papers needed for the official transfer and you can spend your days in leisure." Said Musong Ryo with a smile as he patted Cheon Mujin shoulder.

"You have done enough to take this. Much, much, more than enough."

"Ha! I know Grandfather that's why I'm here to take it."

"HAHAHAHA you brat!"

The two bantered. The Cheon Mujin we usually see is this ruthless bastard but there are times when he compromises, he is an emotionless and psychopathic murderer no doubt about that, but he knows how to be grateful to those that have cared for him even though he can't reciprocate the same feeling.
