Nannan's pov
Being born a beauty in an African home
Its one of the hardest life to live, cause you will be attracting unnecessary attention from parents
Many go as far as coming to meet my parents when I was just 3 years old telling them to bethroth me to theirs sons ,with all manners of promises.
Some promising to sponsor and trained me in the university but were turned down until this particular family came.
They exchange courtesy, got sitted and started discussing
From where I was in my room
Peeping on them is what seems like '
My dad kept asking them questions and responses followed
Few hours later ,they left
I later got to know the family's name, it's the family of the enenche from a near by provinces close to ours and
Also learnt that Mr enenche and my dad used to be high school classmates and also were friends too
After they left dad called me and started talking to me by then I was 10 years of age as at that time.
Dad " nannan you see the family that just left right!"
I replied" yes papa why do you ask"?
He replied" it's nothing really
They came to ask for your hands in marriage and you know!
He continued.....
With mild expression on his face,he continued." Mr enenche is a close friend of mine, he has a good heart and a good family members too "
With a glint of disappointment in my voice
I replied" Are you marrying me off Papa!!
He quickly replied" of course not why would I do that to my daughter he quickly said "
And continue saying..." You will only marries when you graduate from the university and got a better job"
Not marrying now!
