{Berlin, 1938, 13:46.}
Finally, four hours after leaving Kolditz, the convoy arrived in Berlin. What appeared before their eyes could be called a construction site the size of a city. In many places in Berlin were built new buildings, monuments, various attractions, as well as other buildings, which soon will become the pride of Germany.
When the Nazis came to power, they found that the German cities were categorically lacking "monuments of their pride". Instead, the architects, dispersed in the liberal times of the Weimar Republic, were building modernist buildings in the style of "Bauhaus". The latter was immediately declared as "cultural Bolshevism", foreign to the national spirit of the German people. Instead of this "soulless" international (and, it should be noted, ultramodern in those times) architecture of the 1920s, the aesthetic ideal, which expressed primarily the tastes of Hitler himself, was declared a return to ancient classics, which were creatively processed in the minimalist spirit of the harsh Teutonic traditions. Grandiose sizes, chopped rectangular forms, endless colonnades, and arches - even Roman emperors, according to the Fuhrer's plan, were to bow to the power of the Third Reich, expressed in architecture. An excellent example is the main tribune at the National Socialist German Workers' Party congresses in Nuremberg.
In Berlin, the construction of the first major buildings of the new era of the millennium, as the Nazis had hoped, started already in 1934. In Charlottenburg, the western suburb of the German capital began the formation of the so-called Reichssportfeld, "Reich Sports Field", a complex of buildings designed for the Olympic Games in 1936 and at the same time the propaganda of the new regime. In place of the old Deutsche Stadion built-in 1913, a new arena for 110,000 spectators and several other venues for sports competitions appeared. For 1930, this complex was one of the most magnificent in the world.
Together with the Olympic Sports Complex, the Nazis launched another grand project. South of the historic city center, construction of a new terminal at Tempelhof Airport began in 1934. The huge building lined with limestone forms a trapeze and can only be admired on a bird's-eye view of the entire scale. According to the architect Ernst Zagebiel's idea, the complex was to resemble a flying eagle.
"Berlin will be the capital of the world, comparable only to ancient Egypt, Babylon or Rome. What's London, what's Paris!" - said Hitler. What's more, in the process, the city was to get a new name. The author of the project "Capital of world Germany" was the favorite architect of the Fuhrer Albert Speer. According to this plan, a large-scale reconstruction of the central part of the city with a mass demolition of the existing buildings, regardless of its historical value, was planned. In its place, it was planned to create two central roads, which would later be built up with public administration buildings of the same caliber as the new status of the former Berlin. The capital of the world, Germany, would have received the very monuments that "would dominate the whole city and could be seen as a symbol of the whole epoch".
And now the convoy drove straight to the epicenter of grandiose changes, in Reichstag.
- Before we arrive, I must inform you. First, the man from the coffin will be judged by three Oberstruppenführer SS. So behave yourselves, and obey them unconditionally. Otherwise, you are likely to be at least wounded. That's especially true for you, faggot. - The woman made it clear while kicking the coffin at the end.
- Second, the trial starts at 14:30. We'll be there by about 14:00. Additional security will be provided at the Reichstag building, but you still have to be on the watch. Who knows what aces are left up the man's from the coffin sleeves. I guess that's it. Is that clear to you?
- Yes, Mrs. Brigadeführer! Everything is crystal clear. - The short man and the tall guy answered clearly and loudly.
- Don't yell, suckers! - The woman shouted at them. - Now shut up. We have to get there soon.
{Berlin, Reichstag building, 14:29}
After the convoy reached the Reichstag, they were met by several groups of magicians led by two Gruppenführer SS. To understand the full power of the unit, one Gruppenführer can fight enemies at the Ultimate-Class Devil level for some time on equal footing. Then, the coffin with the man was unloaded and taken to a special white room with carved columns, exquisite decoration, as well as a huge number of seals that restrict magic, prohibit teleportation, slow down enemies and much more. If the man from the coffin saw this, he would surely joke about hospitality with a ton of sarcasm.
All the time before the court began, the room was guarded and patrolled by Nazi units, while the inside of the room was under constant monitoring. As a result, it would have taken at least the power of Satan to escape. However, given that there were three men of about the same power level in the building, the chance of failure was still too great. The more incomprehensible was the reason to watch over the man in the coffin, the man who could not, in his current exhausted and continually deteriorating state, defeat the middle-class devil without casualties.
- All right, boys, the trial starts in a few minutes. Get the coffin ready and move it to the courtroom. Hurry up, guys. - One of the Gruppenführers exclaimed. He was a middle-aged man with a cheerful smile on his face and cunning eyes. It seemed like this man was always plotting something.
- Then is this the end of our task? Can we go now? - The woman asked culturally. For the first time, there was respect in her voice.
- No. You're coming with us. You're taking part in court. Your subordinates will also come with us. Objections are not accepted. - The second Gruppenführer answered rudely. Unlike the first one, this man's face was gloomy and dissatisfied.
After that, the coffin was moved to a special room. Three people, dressed in black, white, and golden, were already sitting in it, radiating auras of power and authority. They were sitting on special peaks, equipped with luxurious tables and chairs, more like a throne. The room was designed so that the criminal would have to raise his head and look up at his judgments. This clearly showed that he had no power or authority in this place.
After the coffin was placed in a special place that would be comfortable for judges to look at, countless seals slowly began to appear on it. Most of them were spelled on the coffin and sucked mana out of the environment to feed themselves. However, one seal stood out very strongly among all the seals. It looked like a white circle with a black swastika made of many small constantly changing and moving runic snakes. Above the very center of the swastika was a black metal eagle with its mouth open.
Suddenly, the clock, which had hanged silently above the entrance in the courtroom, hit 14:30. And that's when the trial began.
- Today, March 18, 1938, at 14:30, we, the Oberstgruppenführers, are judging a man who is guilty of many crimes, aimed to weaken Germany in general and its army in particular. First, however, we request to open the coffin and release the one under discussion. - At once, the judges have spoken.
At that moment, one of the ordinary magicians carefully approached the coffin and, having attached a strange artifact in the form of a sphere, opened the coffin. However, no one came out of it. The silence continued for a few more minutes, and when one of the judges had something to say, a pale, skinny hand appeared from the coffin and momentarily grabbed the magician who had opened the coffin by his hand.
The next moment a wave of warnings passed through the magician's skin, and after that, his whole body began to slowly disintegrate intoatoms. First, his skin and clothes evaporated, then his flesh and organs, and then his bones. The whole process didn't even take three seconds. Unfortunately for the magician, he was alive almost all the time and could only die when his heart disintegrated further more than half. As a result, there was nothing left of the magician, not even a drop of blood or hair fell to the floor.
- Cufufufu, thank you for the treat, my dear judges. I am very grateful to you. - The man from the coffin laughed, still not showing up. - I wonder if this guy had any friends or family. It must be hard for them to know about his death. Can I turn them into nothing, too? It'll make them feel better, I guess.
Everybody in the audience was at least surprised by the cruel words of the man, said with laughter and fun. But they were even more surprised when they looked at his hand. If before it looked as if it belonged to an old man, now it was more suitable for a slender young man, though the pale color still remained. Later, the man from the coffin did show up. He looked like a man between the ages of 18 and 22, with gray hair and a black blindfold on his eyes. He was about 180 centimeters tall and was dressed in baggy clothes that completely concealed his body except for his bare feet. Although it looked more like a potato bag than clothes.
- Ahem, good day. Do you know why you're here? - asked one of the judges, dressed in black.
- Of course, I do. For accidentally killing all the personnel of the military camp, torturing to death one adult and a child, and also because I have a little bit of time magic, and none of you want to die of old age. Which is why you're hoping to use me in the future. - The man answered with a smile.
- In general, you're right, except for the last thing. Believe us, we're not really interested in this. Anyway, first we'd like to know how you managed to kill every teacher in the camp. All we know is that you did it. - Quietly asked the judge in white.
- There's really nothing to talk about. We had a scythe battle teacher. I was able to find him and teleport a couple of drugs right into his stomach, which were used on delinquent students. Don't ask me how much effort and concentration I spent on it, too much to count quickly. In short, these pills increased the physical characteristics of the person who took them, depriving him of his mind for a while in return. And then the rest of the teachers and the regular soldiers found he and it all started.
If I were a poet, I would somehow rhyme into a verse that he moved faster than the wind, sparks from the contact of metals flew in all directions, and cannonades of bullets cut through the air and space. Eh, but I'm not a poet, at least not today, so I'll just say that beautiful words are superfluous, cos he's lost his mind. He didn't even pull out a scythe and ripped off a few heads with his bare hands before some weak magician took off and started throwing everything at him, then he jumped up angrily and pierced his chest and then ripped his body in half.
I have to admit, I liked that scene. Joy came to me, and the screams of the wounded and the dying exhausts were spreading around. To be honest, the sight of such a beautiful massacre made me a little turned on.
- We don't need to know that kind of detail. - Suddenly, the judge in gold interrupted the story.
- Yeah, yeah. Okay. Jeez, you guys are so boring. - The man wasn't happy with the reaction. - Anyway, I'll continue.
It ended faster than I thought it would. Although he wasn't in much of a hurry. But 62 fighters were enough for 35 seconds. I was counting on purpose.
However, He had a problem with the last survivor. It turned out to be the space magician who taught us. They fought for quite a long time, but everything came to a halt quite suddenly. They both fell on the armature, and it, in turn, pierced their stomachs. At that moment I had already come out of my hideout and decided to kill them. At first, however, I had aged them from afar to a state between life and death, just in case. And then I just decapitated them and left. The end.
- Well, we appreciate your detailed explanation. However, how do you intend to justify yourself? You do realize that your actions have wasted the lives of several powerful magicians. As a result, the overall strength of the Reich's army has weakened. - Neutrally asked the judge in black.
- I believe that my action only helped Germany. If these magicians were so stupid that they died at the hands of a young man like that, then they have no business fighting in the war. Their low intellect could have caused even more casualties on the front lines. I have improved the quality of the army and established myself as a capable magician. If you have any doubts about my loyalty to Germany, you can ask Mrs. Brigadeführer about it. Throughout our trip to Berlin, I have not shown a single bit of disloyalty to the ideas of the Reich.
As soon as the man's last words were heard, Brigadeführer, who accompanied him, suddenly became very nervous.
"Damn you, faggot! If you're not executed, I'll surely whip you! You're going to beg me to stop!" - She cursed him in her thoughts.
