Chapter 205: Seo Yeon

That morning I had my hands full between my son excitedly packing everything he could in his sight, my baby crying his head off as if he could sense the change and getting my daughter ready who had tried on almost every little outfit she had and had me do almost every hairstyle I could think of for almost 2 hours before finally deciding on the look she wanted when she reunited with her father. I had the twins ready waiting in the carriage whilst I dealt with my bed-tempered baby who had become fussy since his father last held him I had noticed. He kept me up most nights...but it was only when Hyuk brought in one of his father's clothing that I accidentally packed a long time ago and brought it to his baby brother that's when he stopped screaming his lungs out. I guessed he recognised his father's scent again...

I was sceptical about moving in the children straight away but the moment he saw us all hell broke loose; the twins pounced on him, knocking him to the ground completely, screaming and shouting their little heads off. I have never seen my man so happy to be holding his children covered in dirt in all my life; Seon-Ho's face lit up just as much as theirs did. They all had things to tell and show him so I had to calm everyone down. The minute he heard our baby cry he took him from my hands and he was transfixed, while he took me by the other hand as he led us to this property for the first time, at the same time a furious Nam-Kyu was being escorted out by guards from the palace. Nam-Kyu tried to rip me from his grip on our way but she held back by the servants and restrained in her room. She tried to follow us upstairs but he dragged me all over the mansion absolutely elated like how we used to in our own home. The twins were a bit frightened so out of nowhere I had to turn it into a game where they would run with their father all over the mansion until they found a specific room.

I hated them even more for putting my children through this but I wasn't going to abandon my husband either. I knew his dark phases better than anyone and I couldn't risk our children going through it as well. And due to all the risks she possessed to my family still I was more his companion than his wife. After the first month she would always find us no mater where we were still and try to cling to him when she could, not caring about the decree between them, even putting the Queen in a tight spot. But she couldn't handle him when he was drunk and high no matter how hard she tried. It was a hard habit to let go of but I was there to help him so he could be the father my children loved once again.

We had an amazing time; they all played together and explored the new mansion while I unpacked everyones things...after I let my children play with and damage everything that witch left behind, which was everything. I didn't see a single item she took on her person when she was being escorted out; then delusional girl thought she would come back to my family's home! In only a few hours they exhausted themselves already before they had their lunch. Even Hwan fell asleep peacefully in his father's arms. We decided to wait for them to wake up until we decorated their rooms after taking them out to eat; a rare treat for them that I wanted to change. Actually I wanted to change a lot of things and give them a bit more freedom since they were very mature for their age...but with that girl around following us everywhere really put a damper on my plans for them, I didn't want them to have bodyguards especially when their cousins and Moon-Bok's daughter and son came over for visits. Chief-Park's baby was just born and as for Jeong-Beom well...he had only one family and it was going to stay that way for him,..even if they were dead. I looked over at my husband who was looking at me right back pensively. We didn't really speak to each other the moment we were reunited...but I could tell he was still a little high which I was not happy about at all especially around the children. He looked at me apologetically until he reached out for me and held me in his lap as we waited for our children to wake up.
