PROLOGUE

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty" said Madison, my older sister as she opened the curtains giving the morning breeze a free ticket into my messy room.

"Isn't it too early?" I replied.

"Early!! You're late Hazel, L-A-T-E" she said.

So I shoved the blanket aside and crawled lazily out of bed into the bathroom. Today's gonna be my first day in Crest Fall High School and I gotta say I'm so......not ready for the stares I'm gonna get.

"Madison, Hazel time to go. Don't wanna be late for your first day in school" mom shouts from the living room. I can hear Maddie say she's done while I'm trying to look for the perfect dress.
