Chapter 14

Emily, Elliott and the quest and family member Isaac are in the living room, sitting comfortably on the sofas while drinking their cups of Earl Grey, Green Tea and Chamomile Teas.

All three are sitting quietly as they try to come up with a suitable conversation to fit the setting. At last one is brave enough to say a word.

"Does...anyone want some biscuits?" Emily inquires. Elliott and Isaac shake their heads.

Another moment of silence.

"So, did you miss me?" Isaac finally says.

Emily smiles.

"Of course we did Isaac. There's no way we won't miss you." Emily states.

Isaac smiles brightly.

"Oh yeah. I wanted to give you something." Isaac rummages in his bags. "You could say it's sort of important and a souvenir."

Isaac hands Emily and Elliott a present that's the same size as a 20cm/8 inch cooking/cake dish.

Elliott and Emily stare at the wrapping paper and smile lightly.

Their brother is home.
