Chapter 66: Hellish Training: I Want To Go Home! Part 3 - It's Harder Than I Thought

"Haaa! Help me! Help me!" I was being chased by tons of skeletons inside the dark cave, and they're shooting arrows and throwing stones at me.

"Help me! Help me! I want to go home!' To ensure that you would understand what happened to me, I'll show you a tiny flashback on why are many skeletons chasing me.

Once upon a time, a little boy was traveling alone inside a cold, dark cave. His name was Haruki Hotaru. "This is quite easy... I thought that Dawn would make this more challenging now, since that I'm inside a cave." In many video games, the dark creepy cave has tons of monsters inside of them, but to my surprise, it's all a fake.

I've been inside the cave for 30 minutes now, and not a single enemy has confronted me. "What a disappointment." That was all I can say. "Hey Dawn! If you can hear me! I'll tell you this! Show me who you truly are as a sadist, bring in more enemies and challenges!" My voice echoes throughout the giant cave, and knowing that monsters are sensitive to sound, I got my hopes up that they'll attack me now.

"....." It was back to the silence after the echoes of my voice faded. "Just as I thought not a single monster came..." I took a step forward to continue my amazing training, and that's when it happen.

Click. When I heard that loud click, I knew immediately where it came from, I looked down at my foot and saw that I stepped on a button. "Yep, this is it. My epic journey has started."

Whoosh! An arrow flew from behind me; missing the hit right next to my head.

I looked behind me to check where the arrow came from and saw many skeletons holding their weapons and are all staring at me. "Haaa! Help me!" after seeing those many skeletons behind me, I panicked and ran as fast as I can to escape.

And that's the full story on why I'm running for my life right now. "Dawn! I'm sorry!" Click. I stepped on another button again and a giant blade came from my side and almost killed me. "HA! Dawn is serious! I'm sorry! Please stop this!"

Whoosh! Whoosh! Many arrows came flying behind me.

Due to my panic, I can't imagine things well on my imagination to use and shape what I'll do with both my Fire and Electric Manipulation, so which is why I'm running instead of fighting right now.

And with the tremendous amount of skeletons behind me, there's no way that I can defeat them all, so It's better to avoid fighting now.

Click. "Not another one!" Bang! This time it was a landmine that I stepped on.

"Ouch! I fell on my knees from the explosion that came from behind me, I looked behind to see the skeletons who were chasing me, and like I thought they're still here chasing me.

Instead of running for my life to escape, I instead crawl as fast as I can to escape. Click. "What is it this time?!- Haa!" A massive portal appeared below me, and I fell into it.

I was teleported in a large waterfall inside the cave, and I was pulled by the strong current of the water. "Help! Help!" I screamed.

Whoosh! "Sh*t! Not you too!" From behind of me were 10 skeletons who were caught up in the strong current too.

D*mmit, stay calm Haruki and focus so that you'll survive this.

Slap! I slap myself on the cheeks as hard as I can and summoned a bow and arrow made from electricity. "With the power of imagination, I can do this." I sound like a kid but I can use this as a weapon.

Whoosh! The arrow that I made from electricity moved in a blink of an eye and missed the skeletons. "What am I doing?!" Of course, I can't use a bow.

Turning the bow into a sword; I used it to block the arrows that the skeletons were firing at me. "Don't think that you'll hit me easily! Haha!-" Whoosh! "Ouch!" One of the arrows hit my left shoulder.

This is what I get for being prideful. "I don't want to use it, but all of you leave me no choice. "Soul Bound!" After I transform into my Soul Bound, the water around me started evaporating from the heat of my armor.

I swam underneath so that I wouldn't get burned by the hot steam, when I swam underneath I noticed that no fire was coming out of my Soul Bound and the water wasn't heating up anymore. "So even this cold can defeat the heat of my Soul Bound? *Tsk* This is bad."

I was still getting pulled by the current with the skeletons, who were now shooting from below the water stupidly.

With the protection of my Soul Bound from the cold and some other elements, I can now swim freely from the water, since Soul Bound strengthens my body.

With my Space Cutter skill, I created a portal that leads to the place where the skeletons chased me. "Easy!" I entered the portal and escaped the waterfall.

"Finally! I'm here! I'm back! I'm back-" I looked around, and saw the skeletons chasing me, are all encircling and trapping me. "Oh, did you miss me?"

With Soul Bound still being used, I ran with it as fast as I can from the skeletons. Knowing that Soul Bound can danger my body to the point that I'll die, I want to avoid using it from this training.

Now that I'm very far from where the skeletons trapped me, I stopped using my Soul Bound and sat on the ground to rest.

Looks like the injury that I got from the arrow has disappeared from Soul Bound. "This skill is truly a lifesaver." A lifesaver and death's door.

"Sh*t, all of my materials are gone when I fell on that waterfall." If I'm not gonna die here from the creatures, I might die from hunger and thirst, also, the map and guidebook are all gone too.

I better message them about what happened or else I might be stuck in this cave for a long time, and what's worse is that I don't even know if it's day or night already.

(Hey Dawn, an accident happened and I lost both my map and guidebook that Ryou gave me, also I might die from hunger soon so this is my last time talking to you, I'm sorry if I didn't talk to you directly. So, tell everyone that even if I'm not with you and everyone anymore, I'll continue watching all of you to save this world that we all love and live in.

A small portal appeared in front of me, and a map, a guidebook, and a bag filled with some kind of weird fruit came out and flew directly at me. "Ouch!" The three hit my head.

(Stop with your unamusing and terrible act of defeat Haruki, you know that I can see you where you are right? Thus, if you keep on wining like an infant, you better be prepared for what will come to you if you see me again after the training. And you better not use those inappropriate words on me or else I'll castrate you.

Scary! I can't believe that Dawn is really a sadist, and if she can see or hear me then I'm really dead if I see her again.

{Day 7/ 14}

This time the guidebook has a small clock inside of it, so I can now know if it's day or night.

Also, it looks like that I accidentally finished all of my tasks yesterday and without knowing it, I traveled to 8,500m high.

Now for my task for today. Travel up to 9,500m, defeat the entire colony of bats that are staying at that location, and defeat the armies of ice golems on the 9,000m marks.

So, I'm gonna go monster hunting from now on, that'll be harder than I expected it to be. "Now, off we go to fulfill Madam Dawn's task for a slave like me!" I better stop making fun of her, or I'll definitely die.

But I guess she's fun teasing like Ruri, no they're actually definitely the same.

I took one fruit from the bag that Dawn gave me and bit it. "Here I come ice golems!" I shouted while running.

"*Whistle*" the fruit that dawn gave me is like an apple, so even if I can't eat all of it, I can do something like this.

I threw the part that I can't eat to the ground and as I predicted, a spike trap came from below and impaled the fruit. This time, they're not buttons anymore that needs to be pushed by some kind of strong force, but instead, they're some kind of instant active trap that needs to be touched by anything that has some kind of force applied on them, even if that force is weak it'll still activate the trap.

"*Sigh* I can't believe that they set up something like this." Because this is not training, but it's more like a test of my skills and body.

This is why I can't underestimate this as something like training, but more of a test for me.

"No, this is far from those two." More like this is training for Hell, like Hell Training or Hellish training.

"But... This is like most gamers' dream!" A real-life dungeon that has traps, dangerous creatures, and tasked? It's like an RPG, which is my favorite genre of any video game, so doing one is an amazing experience to do.

I ate another fruit and threw it again on the floor to activate a trap. "So lets the journey begin!"

I ran as fast as I can to my goal. Click! Wow, that's far from different than the traps that are laid here, it's like the traps from before.

Shake! Shake! What's happening?! Is there an earthquake happening right now?! Seriously just my luck!

From behind me, I saw the floor and the roof getting destroyed. "Sh*t, I better run!" Due to fear and stress from dying right now, I got an adrenaline rush when I run. It looks like the earthquake came from the trap that I step on earlier, but good thing I'm running very fast! But my body would hurt a lot after I escaped this.

Running as very fast as that of a strong wind, I finally saw a way out, so when I get closed I jumped and saw that there's a giant arena made out of ice below.

I pulled out my wings and glided below to see what's this arena is for. "Why is this here?" Did Luna and Dawn set this up for me? Or has this been here without Akemi and everyone noticing it? No, this is it. I looked at the map and saw that I was 9,000m already. "So this is where I'm gonna fight the entire army of ice golems."

When I landed on the ground, another earthquake occurred. "Not again!" But this time it was weaker than before, it's like it's not coming from below the ground but more like.

Thud! Thud! Thud! Encircling and coming to me were the ice golems that Dawn tasked me to defeat. "There's 6, no 7- actually 10." There's them of them here.

All of them are about the same size as that of an elephant.

One of the golems let out a roar and ran to me. "Sh*t! Ignisvem!" I use Ignisvem as a shield to block the hit, but I was pushed away very far from the hit. "So strong..." I created a sword made out of fire on my other hand and ran to the golem. The other golems went closer to me too and started to aggressively attacking me.

One of the golems who was behind me went for a punch from behind, but I dodged by flying away.

I created a fireball from below and fired it from one of the golems. The fire was a direct hit and melted part of the golems, but it was not strong enough to fully destroy it by one shot.

"So I'm just gonna shoot them more than once!"

I got down and heated Ignisvem. "Take this!" I attack the golem I shot at before and I was surprised that Ignisvem's blade didn't affect him at all.

One of the golems punched me and it hit so hard that I flew to the other one.

And when I got close to the other golem, it punched me and I flew to the other golem. "F*ck, I'm like a ball being passed to everyone."

When I got close I used the fire sword that I created and sliced the golem in front of me.

It didn't kill the golem but the left arm was destroyed.

I flew above and created another fireball and hit it with Ignisvem like a baseball and it directly hit the head of the golem that has one of its arms destroyed.

"Now 9 more to go!-" I giant block of ice hit me. "Sh*t, I didn't expect that." Looks like my left hand has been fractured by the block of ice.

One golem jumped to me when I was laying on the ground from the hit of the ice block.

I rolled to the left and dodged it, but one of the golems was there and crushed my leg.

"Ahh!" I rolled again to escape and flew.

I can't underestimate them, I cast Ignisvem aside and created two pairs of flaming swords.

I threw one to the golem that I first injured and ran to it.

One of the golem saw me coming to the other golem and created a giant ice block, and threw it to me.

Another Iceblock was again thrown from my other side.

But with my Fire Manipulation, I created two giant spears from each of my sides and spun the two very fast.

The spears successfully destroyed the two ice blocks and I killed the golem from below.

After killing it, I flew from below and ran to the first golem that threw the ice block at me. "Take this!" My two flaming swords turned into a spear and I impaled its head with it.

"7 more-" When I looked behind, I didn't expect one of the golems behind me, and I was punched by it that it crushed me to the wall.

I puked tons of blood and created an armor made out of fire to cover me. It melted the hand of the golem. "Screw you!" I fired three fireballs at the golem and melted its head.

Another block of ice was thrown at me and I immediately dodged it. "6 more-" In front of me was a golem who was running to ram me.

Behind me was one doing the same thing too. "*Tsk* That's all you can do?" When I got close to the golem in front of me, I flew above, and the two golem ram at each other. "Take this!" I created a wall made out of fire and send it to the two golems below me.

"4 more!" The other four golems were all shaking intensely. "What's happening to them?"

The four got close and melted at the same time, but when all of the water mixed, it froze again. And the four golems mixed and created a giant one.

It's bigger than an average tall building.

It let out a loud growl and started stomping the ground.

I dodged its punches since it becomes slower and I fired five fireballs to test how sturdy it is. "*Tsk* It's tougher of course. Ignisvem!"

Ignisvem can absorb heat to get stronger, that's what that Turkey told me, so.

I mixed the two flaming swords that I have with it, and Ignisvem absorbed it. "Now goodbye!" I ran to the giant golem and hit its arm. But it was still enough.

The golem started using frost-type skills and fired it at me.

"Run!" The frost skills are fast, but not faster than mine. I created a giant firewall and let Ignisvem absorb it.

Giant spikes made out of ice came out of the ground and the top.

I used Ignisvem to destroy some of it, but they kept on appearing immediately.

One of the spikes appeared in front of me, and I hit my head. "This is bad." I summoned a giant orb of fire that traps me inside, and use my Electric Manipulation to be faster.

I created tons of fireball and made Ignisvem absorbs all of it. "we need more!" I absorbed the orb and the armors.

"That's enough!" I ran to the giant golem very fast.

Many small spikes made out of ice flew to me.

Some cut me, but I didn't give up on flying and killing this golem.

A giant wall of ice appeared in front and because of my speed, I hit the wall.

The spikes that were following me all flew to my chest and stomach.

I stopped flying and fell from my injuries, my entire stomach was again like what happened at the war, but not that severe.

Am I gonna die right here? The moment I asked that question she appeared.

She whispered to me. "As the King of Hell with the trust and acknowledgment of the Archdukes and my people, I can do anything. The power of flames that the feathers of the phoenix that was bestowed upon my sword. Ignisvem."

Ignisvem glows brightly and my wounds started healing, before I noticed it, I saw myself moving and running again.

When I blinked I saw Ignisvem let out a strong hot fire and destroyed the golem.

So this is the true power of Ignisvem?
