Two people were currently sparring using earthbending. One of was blindfolded, but was extremely skilled and could read every move his opponent makes. And the other kept sending rocks flying towards the blindfolded opponent.

Qin Yang was currently blindfolded and has only been sensing the vibrations in the earth and perceive objects and characters through it. It was what eartbenders call seismic sense.

Along with fighting the young man Nero over the past few days, Qin Yang had discovered that fighting gives with benders gave more experience points to his skills. After 3 days of being blindfolded and sparring, Qin Yang had reached level 8 on earthbending, on his way to level 9.

Unfortunately, this meant that his waterbending had not improved over the past few days. Even the Guru was confused as to why he was blindfolded, but Nero promised no to tell him he was the 'Avatar.'

"That's enough for now." Qin Yang smashed his feet to the ground, creating a wavelike effect which headed towards Nero, making him slip in the process.

"That's enough training for now." Qin Yang then reached for his blindfold and ripped it off. The light seemed blinding for Qin Yang, but after a few seconds of adjusting to it, he was fine.

"Enough training for your seismic sense?" Nero smiled at him. After a few days of training together, him and Qin Yang had gotten considerably closer, even if Qin Yang was still a little cold to others, he had now treated Nero as his first friend in this world.

Qin Yang was satisfied with his current status. Although his waterbending had not improved in any way, his attributes did. After all, earthbenders are usually physically more powerful that the other benders because of their rigorous training.

Training with Qin Yang had improved his skills in earthbending by alot. Qin Yang had to admit that the young man in front of him was bit of a genius himself. Unfortunately, something must have happened for him not to be seen in the canon.

Qin Yang was currently sitting in a lotus position, trying to understand the concept of rooting, connecting to the underground and becoming firmly established, settled, or entrenched.

The easiest way to understand rooting is to look at a strong tree and see the way that the plant is firmly connected to the ground, yet moves freely in its branches and leaves. However, Qin Yang had chosen a much difficult path of listening to nature itself.

The sounds of the animals, the sounds of waving of the leaves, and the sound of marching towards the Eastern Air Temple.

'Wait, marching?' Qin Yang suddenly stood up and looked towards the west where the temple was and jumped, landing on the earth which was shaped like a wave, sliding him towards the temple.

"Search the whole place, capture them if there's anyone in this place!" Zuko was currently on his way to the Eastern Air Temple using the secret pathway. After all, it was built by the firebenders themselves after the genocide.

In the temple, was two people, Guru Pathik and Nero. "Guru, you must escape! Firebenders are coming!" Nero grit his teeth.

"You must have forgotten young man, there is only one way for non-airbenders to get down the mountain. And that is the place they entered." Guru Pathik was still very calm and collected.

Nero shook his head and went outside. "Then I'll hold them off and hope that Qin Yang get here fast enough."

Nero stood just outside of the end of the secret path. Fire Nation soldiers had gotten up and surrounded him in a formation.

"Hah!" Nero threw several boulders at the soldiers, but their number was too overpowering. And he was running out of stamina fast, soon enough he collapsed and was hit by several firebenders.

"Stop." Zuko passed by the soldiers as they followed the order. He looked at the injured Nero and sneered. "Just an Earth Kingdom peasant. Tell me, where is the Avatar?"

Nero didn't say anything, but he spat on Zuko's face.

"You!" Zuko slapped him hard, throwing him to the ground and then was about to roast him, when someone came out of the temple.

"That's enough." Guru Pathik stood there, regretting the decision of letting Nero fight them alone.

"A bald old man, he must be the Avatar, capture him!" Zuko pointed towards the Guru. Nero grabbed Zuko's foot, but he only kicked him down.

The Guru didn't say anything and just let him get captured. After he was locked in chains, they made him kneel.

"Finally, I have captured the Avatar, I can go home and finally regain my honor!" The young firebender was ecstatic. Unfortunately, it was soon to be a false alarm.

Iroh had just arrived, and seeing the old man captured, he recognized him immediately. "Zuko, release him! He's not the Avatar, but the oldest living person, who had witnessed the beginning of the war and even before it, Guru Pathik!"

Zuko clenched his fist in frustration and anger, he raised his fist and firebended by accident towards the injured Nero.

"Stop!" Iroh shouted, but it was too late, there was no coming back after firebending. While Nero only sighed at his fate.

Boom!

A large wall suddenly appeared in front of Nero, stopping the fire from reaching him.

Qin Yang had just arrived at the scene and witnessed what was happening, therefore he immediately made a wall and saved Nero's life.

Everyone's eyes were suddenly locked on to him, including Zuko.

"Another earthbender? Capture him!" Zuko ordered. However, an aura of bloodshed and maliciousness suddenly released from Qin Yang's body.

"Zuko, apologize immediately!" Iroh had recognized that kind of aura, only someone who had killed many people had that kind of aura, however not even the best Fire Nation soldiers had that kind of immensity.

'This young man is extremely dangerous! How many people have he killed?' Iroh was sweating just by looking at him, and Zuko immediately noticed this. Even his uncle didn't fear his father, but he was afraid of the person in front of them?

"Identify yourse-" Zuko was about to ask about his identity, but was immediately cut off by Qin Yang.

"If you dare injure my people, then you should leave your lives here." Qin Yang raised his hand and pointed it towards the Fire Nation soldier to his left, immediately clenching it.

The earth below the soldier immediately raised up and surrounded him, and then suddenly crushed him, leaving out a medium sized boulder, in where the soldier stood.

The temperature in the atmosphere suddenly dropped and everyone looked at the uncaring Qin Yang with fear in their eyes. Nero didn't say anything but only looked at him with reverence in his eyes. Qin Yang's view of them was now akin to looking at cattles waiting to be slaughtered.

"We must immediately leave Zuko. Apologies for our intrusion, Guru Pathik." Iroh immediately destroyed the chains around the Guru and then headed towards the exit, but a wall of earth suddenly blocked them.

"Who said you could leave?"

Everyone's eyes did not leave Qin Yang at all, in fear of him retaliating, and when he made a move, their greatest fear was realized.

The Fire Nation soldiers immediately formed into a formation and then firebended at Qin Yang.

Qin Yang raised his leg and kicked in the air, making earth rise up to his left and kicked it towards the right, blocking all of their bending.

What he didn't notice is that someone broke his wall on the side and escaped along with someone else.

He stomped his foot, making multiple large boulders appear in front of him. This great feat made the soldiers shake in fear.

Qin Yang grinned crazily towards them.

"Die."

Boom! Boom!

Multiple boulders rushed and crushed everyone hit. Dust clouds filled the air, and slowly dissipated, revealing the gruesome scene.

Qin Yang didn't look at them anymore and pushed down his hands towards the earth, burying the bodies more than 10 feet below ground.

Before he had crushed them, he had noticed that Zuko and Iroh was gone, so he didn't care about the leftovers and immediately killed them.

He looked back at the two people left, Nero had fallen unconscious because of his injuries while the Guru was looking at him, shaking his head.

Qin Yang didn't care about what he thought about his actions, and only carried the unconscious Nero towards him.

The Guru immediately lied Nero down and guided his hands to his head, making them both glow with two different colors. Nero was shining in green light while the Guru in white.

This action immediately made Qin Yang's eyes go wide.

"Energybending!"
