Asaki's Night Encounter

~Asaki's P.O.V.~

I went through my day as usual me and my roommate Rosa Kuran got up early and got ready for classes, but I went and got me some breakfast first before going to class I need to eat first or I get dizzy sometimes it's some odd effect on dragons from my clan. After I ate I went into my first class which is "History of all Monsters" I love history I could remember every battle of war between different creatures and clans but one battle always sticks out in my head it's a battle called the "Thousand Dragons Massacre" it wasn't long ago, but it's a battle of pride and justice and my family was a big part of it at the time it ended twelve years ago. My father died in that war I was only five years old so I don't remember him much, but I know he was a great leader and warrior. Of course, he was the head of the Kiriyuto Clan one of the most powerful family of dragons nowadays but back then there was a huge argument on who was the powerful clan of all the dragons in the world. It says the war started after a couple of drunks from our clan and another clan called Kanso Clan started fighting each other after one made a smart comment about the other and it didn't end kindly one of the Kanso clan died and after that a whole war started, between those two clans especially and the "Thousand Dragons Massacre" started. After my father died my mother took over for him and it was good and peaceful until she died of illness I was about nine years old when this happen it was hard but not as hard for my older sister Korina Kiriyuto, she and my mother was really close, she took her death the hardest and serious. After my mother died my sister became the leader of our clan at age fifteen. She was very young to take on this role but she did and she made no mistakes until now and I was really worried about her.

I was heading to my third class when a student I didn't know came up to me and handed me a note she said when she handing it to me.

Girl: "A lady told me to give this to you." 

Then she ran off because the bell was about to ring, and I open the note and I was shocked by who it was from it and read what it said with confusion.

Note: 'Meet me tonight we need to talk.'

Asaki: "Korina."

I whispered under my breath with anger and then I tore up the note and throw it away before anyone can see it and went to my third hour which was "Fine Art Weaponry" which I love too since you learn how to throw weapons properly. I could learn how to kill properly but my focus was not in the class at all and I keep missing my target and not hitting the bulls eye. Which I could have done it with my eyes closed which you shouldn't do that, or you can hurt yourself instead and I could tell that Rosa who was in the same class as me could tell something was up. She even asked me if I was okay and I smiled and said yes but even I knew that wasn't getting through to her since she was an elf and they have odd magic where they can since anything really with nature or other creatures. I hate forth hour …."English"… I hate English because I'm not really good at it since it's not my strong subject, but I got through it with just enough time for lunch and me and Rosa and our other friends went out to this restaurant which is our favorite place to hang out anyway. Everything was normal and we went back to school for my fifth hour which is "Art" and its ok I like art a lot but I'm not really good at it, today we learn how to draw a picture with dots which I forgot the name of the technique. Then I start to drag myself to sixth hour which is our last class of the day and it gets closer for me to meet Korina. My sixth hour is "Gym" and I'm ok in gym but don't really care for it because my people don't really need this class were already strong and powerful and always fit to run, climb, and even fly if we wanted to… But then again, my head wasn't in this class at all and I tripped over my own feet when we were running some laps. Embarrassing really because a lot of people think I'm stuck up and they think I'm good at everything which I'm not but after that I heard some girls snicker at my fall and I knew I got to get up and keep going or I will lose my temper soon which isn't like me at all. I don't need to think of these girls really and get in trouble for it because my sites are on this person in particular and I can feel this person watching me from afar and I'm getting really ticked off right now.

~Rosa's P.O.V.~

...

I was having fun with our gym class, but class ended too quickly but I also remembered a test I had to study for and while we were in the girls changing room, I looked at Asaki. 

Rosa: "Hey I gotta head to the library I have a test to study for... so I'll probably be late getting back to the dorm.""

Asaki: "Ok."

Then I took off for the library and started getting some books down that I thought would help me with my test so I started looking through the books learning everything I could for our test. However, when I finished and was about to get up to put them away I noticed one that was different it was a big brown book with what looked like green vines wrapping it around the book. It was called the History of the Elves and when I touched the book it opened, and I began to read the book and I was surprised at what I found out in the book...

Rosa: "No way....what the hell is this...."

~Asaki's P.O.V.~

...

I went to my room first to change into something comfortable for battle because I got a feeling somethings going to happen tonight, I'm sure of it. It was only 7:00 and the note said 10 so I went for a walk before meeting this person. Some people were still out walking, hanging out, some couples by a fountain making out, gross I didn't need to see that, then a breeze of cool air hit my face and it felt so good that I wanted to transform and fly away to a calming place. However, I can't there are some rules in this school you can't use your magic unless it's an emergency which is one of them and transforming is counted at using your powers. I feel better at night where there's hardly anyone around and I can think better at night, but tonight isn't that night because from afar I can see a black figure heading towards me and before I could react, she suddenly appeared right in front of me way to close for comfort. She could have killed me there but she didn't because she knew the consequences of even attacking me but this person isn't Korina at all…this girl is one of our guards at my old home, she's a great warrior one of our best fighters and her name is Zanellia. It's odd seeing her here of all places. 

Asaki: "What are you doing here Zanellia, you should be at home."

Zanellia: "I'm here for you my lady Asaki, your sister sent me here to bring you home." 

Asaki: "What makes you believe I'll just come with you, and I thought Korina was supposed to meet me."

Zanellia: "That note was from the queen, but she said for me to give it to you and bring you with me." 

Asaki: "Is there something wrong at home, is Korina alright." 

I start to sweat at the idea that Korina was hurt or something was wrong back at home...

Zanellia: "No, she is alright....do you not know of her plans?" 

She asked me curiously and I'm starting to wonder what she's planning and why she wouldn't come here herself to tell me...

Asaki: "What plans?" 

I ask I'm starting to get a bad feeling about what was to unfold back at home with Korina since we don't get along much like we did when we were still kids.

Zanellia: "No matter, the queen will tell you when you get home, now let's go" 

She turned around and started walking down the sidewalk and then she turned and look at me like an annoying kid was bothering her. 

Zanellia: "Aren't you coming?" 

Asaki: "I don't remember saying I was going with you, tell Korina if she wants to talk to me, she needs to come here herself." 

I turned and started to leave Zanellia thinking the conversation was over right then and there until I heard a weapon went by my face I don't know what kind of weapon it was, and it's starting to get really dark even for me to see but I turned around to see Zanellia in a fighting position. 

Asaki: "What do you think you're doing?!" 

I asked annoyed looking at her still in her fighting position and I started to get ready for a fight and that my powers were out of the question.

Zanellia: "The queen said if you're not wanting to come on your own, she said to take you by force. Now be a good princess and come here now."

 She did not just call me a princess I thought and after some silence looking at her my anger starting to rise up again and was threatening to overflow.

Asaki: "Since you can't hear then read my lips. Not. Gonna. Happen." 

Then she charged me with so much speed I almost didn't catch her attack, I pushed her away and jumped back to catch my balance, and then I went towards her with my kunai that I keep in my boots just in case. She dodged my throw in time, but she wasn't keeping an eye on the ground, so I dropped down an used my legs to trip her and she went down only for a second and then she did a flip. Then she got up to her feet so fast I thought that fall will slow her down a little, but she was still ready to fight but I'm not used to this though and I was already breathing really heavy and sweating and Zanellia new this.

Zanellia: "What's wrong princess you're getting tired already we only just started, you're never going to be great like your sister."

Then she sneered at me with an ugly smile and I got really pissed off hating it but she just kept smiling like she knew some big secret...

Asaki: "Don't you dare call me a princess again!" 

Then I charged at her again only now I had momentum she was shocked to see me like this, and I smiled thinking 'Don't underestimate me at all.' I knocked her out and she flew into some bushes. Then I ran I know I don't have much strength to take her so I have to use something that's against school rules...."Magic" I went to the fountain I saw earlier I know I can use this water to my advantage. I look around and saw nobody that's good, I don't want anyone to get hurt this is strictly family business. I turned around towards the direction of where I left Zanellia, I can feel her presence approaching I need to concentrate focus my magic on the water. It seemed like hours, but it was only seconds and then I felt my heart drop to my stomach here comes Zanellia and she is mad and I'm not ready yet and she needs to come closer. 

Zanellia: "You bitch!! Your sister said not to leave a scratch on you, but I might have too if you're going to be this difficult!"

I heard her say as she keep approaching me, I can feel her power going up, what I know about her she can use flames from her own weapon which I don't see yet.

 Asaki: "Try it!"

I said to her trying to give me more time and get her closer to me without drawing to much attention to what I had planned for her and I smiled. She's kept walking to me and then she started to run at me and then her weapon appeared in her hand and I just went for it and suddenly flames came at me and I lift up the water behind me and I said a chant to keep my magic under control. My water went towards her like a tsunami it was huge and powerful even for me and her flames went out and she was pushed away by the force of the current. She lay on the ground, not moving at all and I came up to her cautiously and as I came so close to her, I can see her face I thought she was pasted out but... Not even close, she suddenly kick me in the face, and I went back and hit my head on concrete. I felt dizzy and not aware of how close she was, and I look up and she had her sword right above my heart she lift it up ready to finish me off and I was out of magic and strength I was done for or so I thought.

Right when I thought she was going to kill me suddenly a metal object hit Zanellia's arm and made her stumble back it cut her pretty badly she was holding her arm in pain. 

Zanellia: "Who the hell did that???!!!" 

She yelled while looking around wondering who threw the weapon and why it was still bleeding badly...

Hiro: "I should ask who you are?"

An unknown voice said while coming around a pole and coming into the light and my eyes widen when I saw who saved me… Hiro Sekiho I got up and backed up from Zanellia.

Asaki: "Thanks." 

I said to him as he came to my side and I kept wondering why he was here and wondering why he was helping me out since he didn't really like anyone...

Hiro: "What's going on Asaki?" 

He asked while still keeping an eye on Zanellia while he manifested another weapon made of metal and held it ready just in case Zanellia attacked us.

Asaki: "This is none of your business Hiro. Its...Family matters..." 

Hiro: "Is she family?" 

Asaki: "No." 

Hiro: "Then it's not really a Family matter." 

He said with a smile I swear he was trying to tick me off too but when I looked at his face, I could tell that he wasn't joking around at all.

Zanellia: "You need to listen to her and mind your business." 

Zanellia finally said something and she was still holding her arm and it's bleeding really badly, and she knew she had to stop the bleeding.

Hiro: "I'm not going anywhere, and I like to getting into people's business it's fun."

He said still smiling as we both approached her, and she started to back up a little as she knew she wouldn't be able to fight two people with one good arm.

Zanellia: "Damn it, princess I will be back for you, do you hear me!!" 

She said while running into the forest we both kept looking in that direction until we couldn't since her anymore and then we knew she was gone, we finally relaxed. I was on my knees breathing really heavy this just shows I need more training on power and stamina too. I didn't look at Hiro because I knew he was staring at me I hate it when anyone just stares at you and he finally said something. 

Hiro: "Are you ok... princess?"

 Then he smiled with a devilish smile and he held out the princess part on-purpose I looked at him with a look no one forgets but he just smiled.

Asaki: "Don't you dare call me princess. You asshole!"
