Chapter 43: Raging Wind and Storm

The Heavy Armored Beast wreaked havoc in the river and returned to the cave on the riverbank to rest and digest after getting its fill.

Withdrawing his consciousness, Jack Clark looked up and saw it was already past five in the afternoon. The orange-red sunset slanted in, casting streaks of light and shadow on the ground.

"It's this late already." Jack exclaimed.

Since the Heavy Armored Beast was released, Jack, who was constantly using his consciousness, felt that time passed so quickly that a day was gone in the blink of an eye, and there seemed to be no time to do anything.

At this time, Freya Louise closed her book, looked at the time and whispered, "It's about time, shall we go back together?"

"Sure." Jack nodded.

As usual, the two put their books back in place and took the elevator out of the Teaching Building.

On the tree-shaded Pedestrian Walkway within the School, the sunset penetrated through the branches, casting scattered spots of light.
