Chapter 2: What is going on?

After that, Elnora and I left the castle.

"Hey, Elnora?", I said to her.

"Yeah?"

"Are you an elf or a fairy?"

She had long elf ears but wings.

"I'm a winged elf."

"Oh is that a different race?"

"Yeah."

"Where do we even start looking for the orbs."

"We have spies so we just have to wait for info from them."

"I see."

"What do you want to do?"

"I would like to explore the world a bit."

"Alright let's g-"

A bright white flashes before my eyes just like the time the van almost hit me.

I find myself at the road I 'died' at.

"What the hell?", I said to myself.

I rode toward the library and got off the bike and sat on a nearby bench.

I was collecting my thoughts.

I was about to get hit by a truck, then I met an elf, met a queen elf who told me a bunch of lore, and now I'm here again in the real world.

Was it all a delusion? I thought.

I was so freaked out I decided to just go back home.

I went home and laid in bed and was just thinking about everything that happened, then drifted off to sleep.

Saturday, May 21st:

I woke up in the morning and did nothing.

I felt no motivation to do anything.

After 10 minutes of nothingness, I got up and read a book.

I then eventually went on with my day but nothing of note happened.

Until around 6 pm.

I went for a walk and had my headphones on.

I was walking downtown and walked under steel beams, as I was walking under them I didn't realize they were falling, right before the impact of the steel beams a bright white light flashed before my eyes (again).

I'm laying on the ground in the same forest I was in when I first came.

I don't see Elnora anywhere.

Then I hear a huge noise behind me.

I look behind me and see a huge hairy creature running at me a full speed.

Then that's when I was saved.

I see something fall from the sky.

Then the creature split in half and blood sprayed everywhere.

She then turned to me and said, "Are you okay?"

She was beautiful, she had long black hair and light caramel skin, she also wore a knight outfit.

She had dark eyes and was holding a huge sword that she used to kill the creature.

"I-I'm fine."

She stared at me, and then put her sword back in her shaft that was on her side.

"You must be the human that Elnora summoned, where have you been, she's been looking for you."

"I don't know what happened I just disappeared and now I'm here.

"Hmm, what's your name."

Oh, that's right I never told anybody here my name.

"It's Kevin."

"Well then Kevin, we need to go find Elnora, she's been pretty depressed since you left."

The woman and I walked through the forest.

"By the way my name is Candy, I heard about what you're going to be doing, Thank you for helping to save our Kingdom."

"Don't worry about it."

After a while of walking, we reach the kingdom.

"Now we need to go to Elnora's house.", Candy said.

We walked through the kingdom and then reached Elnora's house.

Candy knocks on the door.

"Elnora, I've brought the human!"

As soon as Candy said that the door swung open.

"HUMAN YOU'RE BACK!!!"

Elnora jumps on me.

I push her off of me.

"Yep, it's me."

"I never got your name human, what is it?"

"Oh yeah, it's Kevin."

"Oh, Kevin it suits you."

Ummm how?

"Thanks for bringing him back Candy?"

What am I a lost dog?

"No problem, I found him in the forest about to get killed by a Sasquatch."

"That's what that was?", I said

" Yeah it's a Sasquatch, you need to watch out for them when you're in the forest."

"Thanks for the Info."

"Anyways where we're you?", Elnora asked me.

" I don't know what happened I was talking to you and then I returned to my world, then the next day when I was about to die again I returned here, and returned to the same forest you summoned me in."

"Well, I'm just glad you're back."

"Also has there been any information about the whereabouts of one of the orbs?"

"There has been."

"Great."

"Hey", Candy intervened, " I should come with you guys I'm a warrior so I can fight for you guys, Kevin here looks weak and Elnora you can only heal."

"Ah you do have a point.", Elnora agreed.

Well yeah, I am pretty weak.

" Ah don't worry about it Kevin, you'll get stronger once you get an orb."

Candy tried to cheer me up I guess I looked sad after she called me weak, I started hating myself for being saddened by something so minuscule.

"One of the orbs is being guarded by the Nymphs at the sea that they live in.", Elnora continued.

" Okay Great how do we defeat them?", I asked.

"Beating them is simple whatever type of nature the nymphs are tied to getting rid of that is their weakness, for example, the Nereids that live in the sea if we somehow harm the sea that would harm them."

"That would be bad for the environment though wouldn't it?", I asked.

" Well yes but it's for the greater good of our Kingdom."

That is true.

"Shall we venture out to the sea?"

"Yeah, I'm ready, Candy?

" Yeah, I'm ready."

And with that, we go on our first adventure.
