Double Date

I walk outside the house and check the mail. "Okay, Bills... Bills... Junk mail..." I mutter. "Hey, Aaron." I hear a voice say. I then turn around. "Oh, hey Katelyn! What are you doing here?" I say. "Well, um... Valentine's Day is coming up, and I was wondering... If you would like to go on a double date?" She says. "Huh?" I say. "A double date! I managed to get Travis to submit to me with my impeccable charm!" She says. "You just begged him until he agreed, didn't you?" I ask. Katelyn stutters for a moment, before saying: "Yeah...." I laugh. "I figured... But, why do you even think I have someone to go on a date with?" I say. "Come on, Aaron. It's painfully obvious that you still love Aphmau... And I think that if we have other people with us, maybe he'll be more prone to opening up... And I want him to be comfortable on this date... Can you please just do this... for me; your "not alone buddy?"" She says, putting her hands together. I sigh. "Fine... I'll do it." I say. "Yes! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She says, hugging me. "Of course, "not alone buddy." I say. "Okay, so, I have it all planned out! All you gotta do is ask her to come!" She says. "I... Um... Okay... Hang on..." I say, before taking out my phone and texting Aphmau: "Hey Aph... Um... I was wondering if you'd like to go on a double date?" I wait for a moment, and she responds: "Sure, Aaron. Just tell me when." "Um, when did you plan on going on this double date?" I ask Katelyn. "Oh, um... Tomorrow! At three o'clock pm." She says. "Okay." I say. I then text the information to Aphmau. "Okay. See you then, Cherry. Unless, of course, you want me to visit sooner." She texts back. I blush. "Are you okay, Aaron?" Katelyn asks. "Yeah, yeah... Um... By the way... Be sure not to tell anyone else about this, okay?" I say. "I won't. I promise." She says. "Okay, see you tomorrow." I say. "See you then!" She says, before walking away. I then walk back into the house. "Hey, Aaron." Ein says, giving me a look. "I know that look... You were spying on me while I was talking to Katelyn, weren't you?" I say. "Perhaps." He says. I groan. "Fine. Then, what I just said to her also applies to you too." I say. "I won't tell a soul! Promise." He says. "Okay. Well, right now I just feel like going into my room and trying to figure out how to respond to what Aphmau just texted me." I say. Ein chuckles. "Okay, good luck with that!" He says, as I walk up the stairs.

I meet with Aphmau at the mall. "Hey Cherry. Brought you something." She says, taking a flower out of her pocket, and handing it to me. "Awww, thanks Aph. You're beautiful. I-I mean, i-it's beautiful! I mean, not that you're not beautiful! I, um-!" I say, as I get flustered. "Hey, it's okay. I know what you meant, Cherry." She says. Katelyn then walks up to us. "All these years later, and you two are just as cute as you were back then." She says. I blush a little. She chuckles, and then sees that Travis is coming up to us. "Hey Traaaaavis!~ You look amazing! Like always!" She says. He sighs. "Yeah, yeah... Let's just get this over with." He says. "Awww, at least try to show a little bit of enthusiasm!" She says. "... Fine..." He says. "Okay, the first place on the list is the arcade. So, let's go, you guys!" She says. We then follow her to the arcade and see that Zane~Kun is there with Michi. "Hey guys! What are you doing here?" He says, before gasping, as he seems to notice the flower in my hand. "A-are you guys on a double date?! ZANE~KUN'S SHHHIIIIIPPPPP!" He says, jumping up and down. "Hey, Zane~Kun, sweetheart, calm down!" Michi says. "Right! Sorry, Michi~Senpai! Zane~Kun just got excited." Zane~Kun says. "It's fine, sweetie. Anyways, hey guys! Zane~Kun and I were just about to start our date!" She says. "Wow, how convenient! So were we!" Katelyn says. "I guess that kinda makes this a triple date, then?" I say. "I guess so!" Katelyn says. We then walk into the arcade and start the date. "Hey, Aaron. I bet I could beat you at all of the games in here." Aphmau says. I giggle a bit. "You're on!" I say. We play all of the games, and she managed to beat me on most of them. "I suppose you were always better than me at a lot of games." I say. "Don't worry, Cherry. There are some things you're good at that I'm not. Like, being adorable, for example." She says. I blush heavily. She chuckles. "I rest my case." She says. We then continue the date, and eventually we had to go home.

Me and Aphmau stop at the sidewalk in front of the house. "Despite the fact that Katelyn practically begged me to do this, I actually had fun today!" I say. "Yeah, I did too." Aphmau says. We then look each other in the eyes for a moment. I then notice that Ein is staring at us through the window. "Go ahead, you two! Don't let me stop you!" He yells. Aphmau laughs. "Well, I guess I better get going... Don't want to give Ein the satisfaction, now do we?" She says. I chuckle a bit. "I guess not." I say. She then starts to walk away. "See you later, Cherry!" She says, raising her arm up, in a waving gesture, and then putting her hands in the pockets of her jacket as she walked away. "Bye Aph!" I say. I then go inside the house.
