Mystic King of Tennis

As I woke up I found myself in a jarring white room that extends as far as the eye can see. In front of me stood a beautiful woman with light brown hair and golden eyes, she wore business attire and seemed to have a tired expression.. "Boyo.. I'm so sorry." Utter the heavenly woman before me. My mine was still in a rut, as if I had been asleep for years. "Where am I..? What is this place? Who are you..?" I grew more and more confused as I spoke. The woman's tired expression changed to one of concern as she said " Boyo you're in the waiting room for the next life. Due to an accident on my part.. You meet an unfortunate end." Panic overtook me but the lady spoke again in a soothing calm voice "Worry not Lute. I'll make it up to you." With the wave of her hand a panel appeared before me.

I bore into the panel overlooking what little info there was. "Why is my age unknown? Last time I checked I'm supposed to be 24." I spoke with a tinge of concern. To which the beauty answered "You're dead here.. Ageless.. Timeless. Enough of that, I don't have enough time. I'm sending you to a world to relive your life fresh and new. Pick form these worlds here; with another wave a panel with a list appears before me.

Without a second thought Lute touched the panel labeled Earth. The lady seemed surprised..

"Out of all those worlds, why earth? It's not the one you knew boy." Lute strugged "Well it's much safer than naruto and one piece, and more secure to me." The woman laughingly replied "Who knows, maybe it's a medieval earth with magic and Demon lords? Feeling safe now?" Lute definitely wasn't, he definitely jumped the gun. Before he could regret it the majestic lady raised her hand and said "No worries boyo, I'll send you somewhere safe and fun, How about a sport themed world..? I'll even dish out some special abilities for ya? What do you say?" Relieved Lute nodded and a panel appeared once again--

{Perfect Counter: You are the perfect counter, lobs? Power shot? Slices? Forehand? Backhand? If it's their weakness you can use it to perfection.}

Lute stared intensely at the panel."Can I choose more than one? What sport are these for anyway?" he asked. "Since I messed up.. Sure any two are your's and to answer your question, tennis." She let a tired like laugh ring out. Lute selected [King's vision] and [Perfect control] and asked for a description of the world he was going to live in. The women started "The world you are about to embark into is much like your earth, but tennis is the major sport of choice. There exist a group of individuals with special abilities much like the ones you chose, the world calls them the Mystical kings. They dominate the world of tennis only losing to themself and a few Uncrowns. Uncrowns are people that can overcome the Mystical kings with pure skill and determination. I'm going to put you in at a time where the Mystical kings are just being to walk the steps of tennis so you won't be too far behind. Now go boyo.. The world awaits.." As she says this the world begins to fade to black, "You never even told me your name…" she smiles and it all collapses.
